This hotel is absolutely adorable ! A big thank you to the super-friendly staff that gave us a warm welcome ! We enjoyed dinner and also this was superb, as well, the breakfast was perfect. Absolutely advisable for a stay. On top; the hotel is very well located for exploring the Snowdonia-area and starting point for hiking as we did.
None, all good !

Location, room, bed, fact that the hotel is dog friendly

Had a front room with the river view. Good breakfast and exceptional dinner. Friendly staff and well appointed. Cosy and clean. Quite rooms, quite location. Easy to walk into the village.
Having a sensitive back the double bed wasn't quite hard enough since an orthopaedic type of bed is my preferred. It wasn't soft, but not harc. Not as bad as ones one have come across in similar Welsh country hotels. Larger hotels I beleive change the mattress annually or something like that.
4.3
The location of the hotel is really nice - just by the river with very lovely views. The food at the hotel is great! I think they should advertise their master chef more.
The room was big enough (standard double), comfortable bed. Staff is very friendly.
The only thing that I did not like was two taps for cold and hot water in the bathroom sink. Besides they are small and uncomfortable to use.
4.3
Great location, beautiful gardens along the river, good food, friendly and attentive staff.
Uncomfortable bed

Really friendly staff, really comfy and super dog friendly (loved the additional blanket and little treat for our dog!) Hotel was spotless throughout (despite being dog friendly) and is in a stunning setting. Breakfast was lovely too. Also close to lovely walks, villages and attractions. Really happy with our stay.

Superb location beautiful views of the river and gardens and peaceful setting. The restaurant overlooked the river and it was a joy to sample the excellent food which is served by friendly courteous staff. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a huge comfortable bed and pillows to match. We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the quality of the food .Thank you.
Would appreciate a magnifying mirror in the bathroom as there is no natural light. Obviously from a ladies point of view.

The river view from the bedroom was to die for. The breakfast was good with a fair selection to choose from. Dinner in the evening was good - although an extra supplement for the steak was not necessary. The staff were very good and very helpful. The Wifi was limited in certain areas of the hotel. Would stay again if ever in the are - the scenery was really something especially as you are in the heart of Snowdonia National park.
All was good - perhaps a slight change to the evening menu on a daily would be good - otherwise it is the same menu.

The staff wengt out of their way to make us feel welcome and accomdated for, this included letting a non-resident family member book in for dinner and have drinks. We took our young puppy and again the facilities, information and attitude of the staff were fantastic for this. They even went so far to ensure that we could dine with our puppy, seating us in a seperate area. Dinner was excellent.
I would have liked some local ales, this is a minor gripe though!

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff.
stayed with our 2 dogs and they were welcomed and nicely thought of and looked after .
Dinner was lovely.
Dinner was fabulous very tasty. Could have been offered a bread basket or choice of sides maybe as portions very small. Delicous though.
Would expect to be able to have a decent coffee at breakfast. didn’t have the same quality as the dinner. croissant was not very good.

Beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing with the river flowing past the hotel. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, no complaints and a good choice. Didn’t dine in, but I could smell the lovely food being prepared and served, will dine in next time.
Rooms were big and sitting out on one with a balcony view of the garden was great.

Food was amazing!
We were told hotel was fully booked and although car park was full we only saw a couple of other guests, the resturant only had 3 other tables used which gave the place a lack of atmosphere.

Breakfast and dinner, combined with the location were excellent.
The bath was creaking and felt it was going to crack as one moved around during the showering.
