About this cottage rental

A magnificent, detached stone farmhouse in Bashall Eaves, four miles from Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley, with three bedrooms and a sofa bed accommodating up to seven people.

The Old Forge is a wonderful stone farmhouse situated in its own lawned gardens, surrounded by glorious views of luscious open fields, four miles from Clitheroe. Inside are three bedrooms and four bathrooms comprising of two en-suites, a wet room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first floor. The bedrooms include a spacious master room with a super king-size bed, comfy sitting area and en-suite shower and bath. There is also a flexible room with zip/link beds that can be a king-size double or two singles with en-suite, along with a single room and a double sofa bed in the study downstairs. The kitchen is large and bright with two dining tables, each seating six. The sitting room has an open fire and large bookcases, as well as a door to the study. There is off road parking for three cars and a good gastro pub just up the road. The Old Forge is an excellent base for walking and relaxing with friends and family.

Electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, Nintendo Wii, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove and fires inc. in rent. Additional fuel can be purchased and delivered locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for three cars. Lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Farm shop 2 miles, supermarket 3.5 miles, pub 3 mins walk.

Town: Bashall Eaves is a small village located in the Ribble Valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known as the Forest of Bowland. The village has a well-regarded gastro pub and a short distance away, you can find a wonderful farm shop selling fresh local produce at Bashall Barn. The area is excellent for walkers, with the peaks of Pendle Hill and Longridge Fell close by, as well as the Whitendale Hanging Stones known as the centre of Great Britain. Surrounding by glorious, unspoilt scenery, Bashall Eaves is an excellent holiday destination!
