Stayed here as I was going to a wedding at Bashall Barn around 8 minutes away. Really good location and the room was lovely. Sadly didn’t try the breakfast as I was feeling a bit delicate after too many drinks at the wedding

Stunning room and facilities in a beautiful location. Extremely comfortable and a delicious breakfast the following morning
There was nothing to dislike!

Beautiful location. Lovely breakfast with a good choice.
i liked it all, perhaps the toast (one slice each) with a full English and no asking if we wanted additional hot drinks or toast etc. The server although polite appeared slightly off.

The location was beautiful. The place was immaculately clean and everything you needed was in the room. The food at the Inn itself was stunning and the staff were amazing and so friendly.
I had to leave!

The room was lovely, I couldn’t fault it. Generally if it was just me and my husband I probably would have give it a better score.
When I booked it said the place was pet friendly, which the room was. I paid an additional £20 to stay with our dog (i can only assume that’s for additional cleaning as whenever we have stayed somewhere before they have at least given us dog bowels and treats) it’s the little things that count. When we arrived it wasn’t clear where to go so we walked into the restaurant, we were quickly ushered out because we had our dog with us… then was told no dogs are allowed in the restaurant area.
We were then told that if we wanted to eat it had to be before 6… I would have expected to be told that prior to booking or when booking or at least in advance so we could have made other arrangements.
We couldn’t go in the restaurant to eat though as it wasn’t dog friendly and I refuse to leave my dog alone in a room that she doesn’t know, so we needed up driving into Clitheroe to get food from there… on a Sunday (it was quite difficult)
We then couldn’t have breakfast because again it was in the restaurant.
Please state that it is only your rooms that are pet friendly.
In the morning the lady who worked there was going out so just asked to leave our keys in the room. She didn’t ask how our stay was or anything. I honestly felt like we’d not been given any type of customer service, it was all rushed and I felt like we were in the way as soon as we arrived.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but we spent £120 on a room where we couldn’t even use the other facilities, it was a let down to be honest.

Cleanliness, good breakfast, very accommodating
Nothing really, all good apart from paid early check-in n not ready

Amazing value for money, other accommodation that I'd searched for within travelling distance from the lakes was at least twice the price, lovely breakfast and evening meal (the homemade bread was a real treat), I'm dairy free and my Mum has a very small appetite and the staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble
There was a slight dip in the mattress at the bottom of my bed but it didn't effect my sleep

Lovely breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Communal outdoor seating. Quiet in the room.
Waterfall shower great but hard to use if trying not to wash your hair - hair cap useful!
Could do with a cover for the extra tiny window in the bedroom (room 1?) - has a privacy filter but lets light in in the morning. Neither point a big issue though!

Beautiful property, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Great location for weddings nearby. Lovely comfy bed and plenty of space.
Only minor improvements could be toilet roll holder kept dropping down and shower could have done with a toiletries holder so didn’t get hair wet bending down to pick them up. Minor amendments though, overall we were really happy with stay.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.
The main lights in our room didn't work, or it could have been me, lol tried to turn them on, but no luck.
