The Neighborhood:
Three state parks and National Forest are nearby, as are casual and fine dining, an outlet mall, Wegman's, and Red Jacket Orchards. The house is directly on the Seneca Lake beer and wine trail, but also only a short drive over to the wineries on Cayuga Lake. For those interested in exploring the area more the house is close to the National Women's Hall of Fame, Clifton Springs Spa, Rose Hill Mansion, Hobart & William Smith College, The Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center, Sonnenburg Gardens, Smith Opera House, Belhurst Castle, golfing, Watkins Glen, and Del Lago Casino. Let's start with the host and the amenities. The guest accommodations and small touches that the host included were better than any vacation home I've ever stayed in! The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The views from the three levels of decks are unbelievable and gorgeous! The location is secluded and it's almost as if there is no one around! The location was a quick 8 minute drive to Geneva and close to so many wineries! We did not want to leave!

We had an amazing time, the sunsets really are beautiful! It rained one night but we still enjoyed the scenery with the hot tub. This home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. It’s rare that vacation homes exceed your expectations but this one truly did.

We rented this property for a girls weekend in mid July for a few days. The house hosted 5 adult women perfectly. It was clean, cozy, and well stocked in the kitchen. Most of our days were spent on the spacious backporch, gazing at beautiful Lake Seneca. We took a dip in the hot tub at night & also used the two kayaks provided during the day. Communicating with host Laura was enjoyable & easy. She was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.
Downtown Geneva had various restaurants to enjoy as well as the local wineries and breweries. Pizzeria Ciccino's delivered, which was a bonus. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for a girls weekend!
Lovely location on the lake! Cute decor, clean overall and well appointed with necessities.

Cute interior and good space.
We had a lovely visit. Views of the lake are great as is the interior decoration. Our only negative would be the first floor bathroom toilet and floor surrounding the toilet needs repair. The floor is buckling and the toilet leaks. It may only need a new wax ring. Otherwise, it was a charming cottage.

Family vacation
The house and lake were beautiful! We had every thing and more to have a great time! The owner even had rafts, corn hole, plenty of house appliances, books, and a giant flamingo raft the kids loved! The beds were very comfy too. The road to the house was a little rough with the boat trailer but nothing we couldn’t handle. Being so close to 3 brothers estates and a few other wineries were also a plus!

Charming and Cozy Home!
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Laura was a pleasure to deal with and even offered a later checkout without being asked. The house is charming and decorated with so much attention to detail (my kids have fun with Alexa). The weather was cooler than we would have liked but the lake was still warm and being able to sit in the warm jacuzzi after a jump in the lake was an added plus! Watching the sunset from the deck was incredible! Thank you Laura!
The house is renovated beautifully but the stairs to the second floor can be a challenge for someone with difficulty with stairs. The good news is that there's a bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor.

Breathtaking Seneca Lake Views
This property was everything we could ask for and more. Conveniently located and close to everything. The house is roomy and well laid out. The lakefront views were amazing. The hammock and Adirondack chairs on the dock were a nice touch. We were seven guests staying for a week, and the were no space issues or bathroom waiting problems. I would recommend this property and if I ever visit Seneca Lake again, I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Location & Amenities
A group of friends and I spent New Year's Eve weekend at Laura's home. The view was unbeatable and the house was well appointed and very clean. The house was decorated for the holidays, adding to the warmth of the home. The kitchen had just about everything you could think of needing. There were six guests total and we fit very comfortably. The house has a great dining table that was perfect for meals. There's also an extra dining table in the kitchen. The home was great for group seating in general.
We got to see a tiny bit of a sunset one of the evenings, but the weather didn't cooperate other days. I can only imagine how beautiful the view would be if it had!
Laura was very responsive and friendly any time that I contacted her. The house felt like she went above and beyond to make sure guests felt comfortable and at home. Highly recommended.

Cute, Cozy, and Well-Appointed!
My family and I had an amazing time during our stay at the Seneca Sunsets cottage. We have come to Seneca Lake annually for a girls' trip during the Deck the Halls weekend. The cottage did not disappoint -- the decor was modern and decorated seasonally for the holidays. The amenities were abundant and very thoughtful. We took full advantage of the views -- from the living area, to the deck and dock, to the outdoor hot tub. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return next year!

We are already planning our next visit! The house was absolutely fantastic. On top of being super clean and comfortable, there was a gorgeous lake view and a HOT TUB! This place was so much more than your average rental- the kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals with friends, there were plenty of wine glasses, and it was really close to a bunch of wineries and breweries.
