Beachfront, excellent swimming pool, location, amenities, and especially the food and specially the waiters good service from them
Well, my chicken, was supposed to be at 3 o’clock and I wasn’t ready until 4:30pm and it was missing soap, towels and it was made up as a hurry up, not a good start
Also, I used the watch laundry service and come back staying, possible wash color with white and mess up some white items

Everything from staff to room will go back and visit again!
The Airport in Mexico City OMG

Beautiful surroundings. Great restaurants on site and impeccable service! Close town Downtown Santa Cruz for site seeing and shopping. Just a short cab ride or walk 2 miles.
If you are looking to get into the ocean, this is not the place. Beautiful views but the sea is angry all the time.

We loved the location, the views, the number of restaurants, and the pools. We also enjoyed several breakfasts at Marea and the Pizza al Pastor from Forno. We loved the poolside attendants and the live music on the beach. The waiters and poolside attendants were kind to ask about allergies. This was awesome as I appear to have very recently become allergic to limes.
The room & bathroom weren't as ample as we'd like. We didn't love Aroma or Rustico nor the Pescadillas at Marea, and we thought that the dinner prices weren't in line with the quality. Meaning we felt things were priced higher than the execution of certain dishes.

The wait staff!
The bathroom could have some hooks for sure!

Amazing restaurants and staff

This is our third stay at this property. We love it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You feel like a guest but you feel like family too! Juan, our server at the pool for a few days was outstanding. Very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. Nico was also great! The food at this hotel is wonderful! We also tried Otto. The atmosphere and service as well as the attention to detail was amazing. I'm not sure who the female wait staff was on 5/11/23 but she was also outstanding. I work at a high end resort in the San Diego California area and was highly impressed by so many things this quaint resort delivers in excellence! The new improvements are a great addition to the resort. The older rooms with the dipping pools can use some upgrading but other than that...this place makes you feel like family and we will keep coming back!!
Pool and dipping pools need a little upgrading.

Staff at restaurants were amazing , very nice personalities and very helpful. Pools were clean, however need updating. Daily night beach activities were fun and unique. Spa staff was very nice ! Security guard was great! We forgot our key in the doorknob one night , and he knocked on our door to wake us and get it .
We didn’t get the ocean view room that I payed for !!! When I asked the front desk, she said they were at capacity and couldn’t change it. She said her manager was out to lunch and to come back in an hour. She said our first floor room had a partial ocean view. That’s false, it’s obstructed by tall greenery, which should be removed from all first floor patios. I payed for an ocean view and didn’t get it! Extremely disappointed! False advertising, I will never go back and I will tell all my friends and family NOT to stay there. Other people staying there , shared the same disappointment about their stay.

Food at restaurants is fabulous and staff exceptional

Food and restaurant options in the hotel are great. Staff is amazing. Services are all great. Quick access to the beach. Lots of plants and flowers. Very clean.
Beach isn't recommended for swimming. The rooms on the Terrece (1st) floor aren't the best for any Oceanview. Huge plants blocking the view. Bathrooms have dull lighting and the rooms have no drawers for storage. Outside food or drinks are not allowed per sign in the rooms. No mini fridge either. Which would be helpful to keep waters cold. Rooms need a definite makeover.

swimming pools nice. good restaurants.
it’s a bit isolated - you’re kind of stuck in the hotel unless you take a taxi

Centrally located and within walking distance to all amenities. Many restaurants on-site with fantastic food. The staff were exceptional! Loved the special free events on the beach such as the live music.
Would be nice for reception to provide contacts for excursions. First hotel I've ever stayed in without a fridge. The fitness centre definitely needs some attention. Would also appreciate some beach tools such as an umbrella to borrow for the day to go on the beach.

It was my wife and I’s first trip to Huatulco and did not know much about the area. We found Quinta Bella (internet) saw the amenities , centrally located to town, and the beautiful vista to the Pacific Ocean.
The property offered many incredible restaurants to choose from and the easy accessibility to the Bahia.

pools with excellent service, beach location, restaurants were delicious
tacky details in rooms. made it feel cheap. lounge by the pool were uncomfortable

Perfect location on Chahue Beach. Very attentive pool staff, especially Juan . Remembered to bring me a chair every day and always called me by my name. Many choices for food with 7 restaurants. We enjoyed them all. We got the room we requested for the 3rd year in a row. Everyone was so friendly. We loved our 2 week stay.
Lounge chairs at pool. 6 inches off ground. Hard to get up and out. Many seniors used hard regular chairs. Pool staff was very accommodating.
5.0
Great location although the beach is a "red flag" beach due to currents, the only beach with a life guard. Clean beach. The variety of restaurants is impressive. The fresh made pasts dishes were amazing. An independent taxi driver told us the Quinta Bella had the best restaurants in Huatulco. However they are a grade below good restaurants in the major cities.
All the staff were wonderful and helpful EXCEPT the front desk (see below).
Poor wine list. Ordering by the glass was a problem, some of the wines were well past their time and the red wines often served ice cold. I saw one bottle go back in the fridge with less than a glass remaining.
The rooms are poorly outfitted: no tissue paper, no pens/pencils or note paper. Coffee maker with one coffee but no stir sticks, sugar or creamer. NO telephones. To get room service you have to scan a QR code to obtain a 10 digit phone number and then call from your mobile phone and incur a roaming charge. They do provide free bottled water. Towels are well worn. I had an unwanted cold shower all 6 nights but water is warmer if one showers earlier in the day. Our room was booked as mountain view but our room was over the driveway/lobby area and the only view was the new building under construction. The latter gave daytime noise but was quiet at night. Certainly not as advertised.
The most annoying issue was the front desk/reception where the staff are incompetent. They are all smiles but do little to assist the guests. I needed to have a one page letter printed from my email but it took multiple trips down to the desk as they "did not know that emails came to a different computer". They had "no idea how to arrange a shuttle to Puerto Escondido..... we have never been asked that before". We booked a second room for our grandchildren but they had to return a day earlier than expected and even with 24 hours notice the hotel would not provide any credit for the unused night. On the last day my wife was feeling unwell so we did not want to depart for the airport until 2:30 PM but the hotel insisted any time beyond noon was an other 800 pesos, which we grudgingly paid.

I liked the availability of beach seats, with the umbrellas, with the sea in front....very relaxing. A quiet spot in a clean beach. I liked the pool and the breakfasts in the upper area of the Marea restaurant.
It took several days for the hotel to answer my messages/requests for a change of a hotel room type Although I rang the hotel long distance, I was told that the request needed to be done through booking.com ( the request had been done through booking.com ,but the hotel claimed they had not received it yet), etc.

This property has beautiful grounds and two very nice pools. The beach here is nice although the water is rough and may not be safe swimming for most. It was red flagged everyday I was there. There are restaurants on site. I enjoyed one for breakfast everyday however I ate my supper off site so can’t comment on the others. The service staff were friendly and polite. The man who works in the pool area was always busy, serving, cleaning or just making sure things were all around good. He was excellent! I believe his name was Juan and is a true asset to the hotel! On Friday evenings they had live music on the beach which the staff worked hard and setting up and it was a pleasant way to spend the evening. My room was clean. Some rooms have small plunge pools. My room had a nice pool and ocean view.
This hotel has so much potential but it has some real downfalls as well. Although my room was always clean my bedsheets were yellowed from age. The bed itself was so hard I took pillows for the other bed and lined them up so I could sleep on them. The pillows also looked old. I know beds are harder Mexico but these were hard even by Mexican standards. The towels in the bathroom need to be replaced! They are threadbare and some had holes in them. The decor in the room is also very dated. There are 44 rooms in this hotel so with some upgrades it could be listed as a boutique style hotel.

Great place to stay with great customer service. Right on the most beautiful beach.

The location was great, there are 7 restaurants to choose from and the resort is, in fact, beach front. We almost didn't stay here because of some of the reviews stating otherwise, but we were gladly surprised. You can order food and drinks poolside and the staff is really nice. We got there before check in and we were able to spend time at the pool until our room was ready. You can walk to Santa Cruz on the pedestrian path, which is just a 1/4 mile walk from the hotel and getting taxis to/from the hotel was really easy.
A LOT of kids. It would've been nice if one of the pools were designated for kids so that we could lay somewhere without cannonballs going on all over the place.
