This flat is comfy, clean and quiet and located just a quick 10 minute walk to Bath city center. The little back patio is lovely to sit outside with a glass of wine or cup of coffee. The off-street parking for our little rental car was great. I would recommend and stay here again.

My friend and I absolutely loved the little house. It was even better than it looked on the photos - everything was thought through and the house has kept many character features - we didnāt want to leave!! Thank you for such a great stay - due to the very wet weather we couldnāt sit in the garden but hope to do so next time as we will definitely be back š

This is one of the best houses we rented when travelling around the UK (and God, we travelled). The place is bigger and better than in the photos. It's unbelievably clean, well equipped and cozy. The location is great: very quiet, and close to the City Centre. The wi-fi has worked very well(which made my son happy). We could enjoy our morning coffee in the garden, which was lovely. Mark was just amazing from our arrival till our departure. We felt sorry that we have only booked for two nights. We will return and in the meantime we will recommend it to all of our friends travelling to Bath. Thanks for everything!

Perfect place in Bath
This was a perfect place for exploring Bath and the surrounding area. The location is great -- very quiet, a short and easy walk to downtown, and an easy exit by car to other areas. The flat was unbelievably clean; it's very well equipped and comfortable. The parking space was a bit tight for our slightly over-sized car and a driver used to driving on the other side of the road, but Mark, the host, sorted an on-street parking permit for us very quickly so we could park right across the road. (He also arranged perfect weather for our stay, which was a nice extra.) The wi-fi worked perfectly. Lovely backyard for outdoor dining. We had a wonderful time, and would absolutely come back again.

5 star stay
This apartment is positioned in a great location. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the "city centre" via easily walkable streets. The area is quiet and residential. The house contains all amenities needed for a short stay- full kitchen, washing machine, central heating (great for drying clothes, too) and the most comfortable beds! The entire house was spotlessly clean. Extra towels were provided too. Communication with Mark was easy, despite us only being available via wifi connection. There is a charming courtyard at the rear which would be lovely in warmer weather. Initial provisions included our preferred fresh milk, which is a thoughtful touch. Access to the house is easy and well communicated. All in all, No 3 Powlett Road provided a welcome and comfortable place to stay for our three nights. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and would happily return.

Felt like home
This property is immaculate. The location is quiet, in a nice neighborhood but close to downtown. Mark was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. Sydney Gardens is across the street and there is a lovely walking path along the river very nearby. This house is neat as a pin, comfortable and homey and has a lovely garden outback. We highly recommend.

Couldn't be better
A wonderful property with a great location just outside downtown Bath--comfort and convenience on a quiet residential street. Especially enjoyed having a private backyard with a patio to relax after a day of sightseeing, and that the home has been well-tended and very clean. Also appreciated that the home provides a quality supply of pots/pans and cooking utensils as we did cook a couple of meals during our stay. From booking to check-in/out Mark made our stay easy and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Comfortable & convenient
Mark, our host, was attentive and helpful. His home is neat as a pin and very efficient. All the details are covered, a very well equipped kitchen, complete with interesting cookbooks and information. We especially loved the garden which is quiet and modeled after those found in the South of France.
The beds are very comfortable with exquisite laundered linens.
Only a 10 minute walk to the center of Bath, 3 Powlett Road is perfectly located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

3 Powlett Road is a very comfortable and quiet place within walking distance from town centre.
We had a relaxing and comfortable stay in the property. After a day of sightseeing it was lovely to come back and reflect on the day together in comfort. All instructions left in a folder were self explanatory and clear. Mark the owner was very helpful, friendly and available to address any issue if needed. All communications have been effortless from the time of our booking . We certainly would not hesitate to book the property again if we were to visit Bath Spa in the future.

Bath was a complete surprise - it was well beyond our expectations. From beautiful English country side, too unbelievable Roman ruins and a spectacular Abbey.
The rental was perfect, well equipped, close to downtown (but not to close) and lots of room for two couples. After a busy day visiting places and seeing the sites around town, it offered a great place to relax and recap the day.
If/when we come back to Bath - I would definitely stay here again.

It was a very well kept and comfortable home, with tastefully done updating and decorating.
My sister and I stayed at Mark's rental for several days and found it very comfortable and suited to our needs. It's not far from the typical attractions of Bath (the Roman baths, the Abbey, the Pump room, etc.) and shopping, there is a supermarket within walking distance, so we managed quite well without a car, although there is parking space if you bring one. Mark was there when we arrived and gave us a quick tour and informed us of things like how to operate the radiators(neither of us had lived in a house with them) as well as a quick overview of the washer and dishwasher. He even had found and purchased lactose-free milk for me, before we even arrived! I recommend his place highly.

Comfortable clean beautiful garden flat
Second time staying at this location and both times have been excellent. The flat is close to all the major attractions in the city, but far enough away to not be overwhelmed with tourist busses and noise. Mark provides a clean, well appointed home base for all sorts of pursuits in the Bath area. Highly Recommend #3 Powlett .

Perfect property for a city break.
We have just returned from a break at No 3 Powlett Road, a fantastically located property just a very short flat walk from the centre of historic Bath. This spacious 2 bedroom house was exceptionally clean and very well equipped with added little extra's like fairy liquid, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, not forgetting the wide range of teas, coffees and a choice of milk on arrival.
Parking was never an issue in this very quiet residential street. The house has a lovely rear garden which is in sunshine for most of the day, which was handy as we used the rotary washing line after visiting the Thermae Spa. There is a very helpful manual full of everything you need to know about the property to make your stay here trouble free and very enjoyable.
A huge thank you to Mark for allowing us to stay in this lovely house, and for going above and beyond to make our stay here perfect, we would highly recommend No 3 Powlett Road, and we hope to stay here again.

Gem of a property for a long stay.
We spent three weeks at #3 Powlett Road and absolutely enjoyed it. We found the house to be very clean and wonderfully stocked with everything needed for a longer stay. Mark, the owner, was very attentive to our needs, checking in with us to ensure that we had everything we needed. The greatest thing about this property is its proximity to central Bath. It only took us 10 to 15 minutes to walk to Pulteney Bridge and that was with the heat and two teenagers in tow! We were within comfortable walking distance to restaurants and two grocery stores. We also enjoyed how close this property is to Sydney Park, Henrietta Park as well as the Kennet Avon Canal which are fabulous for an evening stroll. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend #3 Powlett Road to anyone considering a stay in the Bath area.

Quiet, convenient and well cared-for home-from-home in Bath
3 Powlett Road is a delightful terraced house with every convenience for a visit to Bath. It is in a quiet residential street, but within easy (level) walking distance of the centre and its many attractions. With a sunny outlook at the back over a well-kept garden, it offers a lovely spot to relax (inside or out) after a busy day of sight-seeing. It is tastefully decorated throughout, but with imaginative retention of original features. The kitchen is very well-equipped and spacious, together with the dining area. The thoughtful provision of teas and coffees, together with milk on arrival, was very welcome. It is clear that the owners give a lot of attention to the comfort of their visitors and provide all the information and facilities necessary for an enjoyable holiday. We visited as a retired couple, but the house would accommodate 4 people comfortably. The only drawback for anyone with mobility problems might be the shower over the bath and the relatively steep staircase. We have stayed in many self-catering properties, and this was one of the best we have encountered. It feels like a genuine home, and is very different from chain-rental properties. We would thoroughly recommend it and would definitely book again if returning to Bath.

Perfect location, immaculate interior.
Very attractive terrace in a quiet, pretty, residential street just round the corner from Sydney Gardens.
The interior of the house was spotless and very well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The owner, Mark, couldnāt be more helpful and lives close by.
It is a short walk to the centre of Bath and all places of interest.
We have been twice and will certainly bolok again.

Perfect location for a wonderful holiday in Bath!
Wow ... what a wonderful place to call home while enjoying all that Bath has to offer! The apartment is perfectly clean and tidy. The photos are very accurate and Mark is so helpful in his communication. The highlight for my family ... we could walk everywhere! No need to worry about driving or parking the car. It is a beautifully pleasant walk to The Abbey, The Roman Baths, The Royal Theatre, The Holburne Museum, The Guildhall Market and many delightful shops and restaurants! I can't wait to visit again (and I know where I will be staying)!
