Hostel sympa

Les lits dans des pods étaient cool pour avoir de l’intimité. La terrasse est vraiment agreable

Little bit disappointed

The common areas are nice (rooftop and swimming pool) but the rooftop is quite dedicated to party in the late afternoon/night, so not the best place if you want to chill/relax. Beds are nice with good privacy.

There is only one toilet/shower per dorm and it is a really small room with the shower almost above the toilets. The floor is always wet as 6 people use this shower, and you don’t really have space to shower. The building is quite big, there would have been space for some nicer showers somewhere (as in all hostels I have been to in Cambodia). As it is a party hostel (kind of at least), some people get wasted and I had the really bad surprise of having people having sex in the bed just next to mine. Very disrespectful… (although I know it is not the hostel fault).

I prezzi sono alti per quello che offrono, le stanze sono scomode e molto spartane nel nostro caso i letti erano anche sporchi di sabbia(nel resto della Cambogia con 20 dollari a notte puoi affittare anche un hotel 4 stelle) l’acqua è fredda e le stanze sono caldissime, ci sono solo dei piccoli ventilatori (veramente piccolini) accanto ai letti. La sera non abbiamo trovato nessuna attività se non il loro ristorante. La cosa che ci ha convinto ad interrompere il nostro soggiorno qui è che ci vogliono 40 minuti in motorino (la strada non è male ma di notte è molto buia) per arrivare verso la parte più frequentata dell’isola dove trovare qualche ristorantino o qualsiasi altra cosa, non puoi fare nulla a piedi e GRAB non funziona sull’isola quindi fanno loro i prezzi che sono parecchio alti, praticamente sei costretto a prendere il motorino per spostarti che loro affittano per 10 dollari al giorno. L’ultima cosa che ci è successa è stata che lo staff non ha voluto aiutarci con le nostre valige (c’è una rama di scale lunghissima da fare per arrivare alla strada) e il ragazzo del tuk tuk ha dovuto da solo prendere entrambi i nostri zaini

Heerlijk relaxed hostel in het relaxte Kampot!

Heerlijke sfeer, lief en behulpzaam personeel, ruime kamer met lekkere bedden, chill zwembad en leuke thema avonden!

De wc bij het zwembad mag iets beter.

great stay - bar nights, decent food, good value!

really loved my stay here - in fact came back again after a short trip to Koh Rong. Staff were great and lots of activities in the bar with open mic nights etc. Met some great people and lots to do nearby. can hire a scooter if you want good prices. booked all the onward travel through them too.

Oasis in the dust

Staff very helpful , great roof top bar and restaurant , we ate there most nights , they organised bus to HCM and you can hire motor bikes to explore area. Nice comunal hostel if you are solo traveler and also nice little pool To cool down in .

Ok c'est roots, mais propre ça aurait été mieux

- Piscine agréable - Gérant très sympathique - Possibilité de manger sur place

- accueil moins que chaleureux par la personne de la réception (plutôt désagréable, très nonchalant, d'aucune aide) - propreté de la chambre de manière générale, ainsi que des poils et cheveux sur la literie, dans la salle de bains... - besoin de réclamer les draps manquants (eux non plus pas ultra propres), ainsi que du papier toilette - beaucoup de moustiques dans la chambre - Emplacement loin du centre, tuktuk nécessaire

kinda quite place. not super social except taco night and open mic

quiet area out side of town. pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was good! water refills stations

mosquitoes in my room. AC worked ok. I asked for a blanket and got a mattress cover. no tea pot in room or cups. no organized group trips. had to go to another hostel.

Good if you want to party, wasn't our family goal.

We loved the hotel's restaurant flavor. For people that want a party vibe it's perfect.

We wanted a "family friendly" hotel but it's hard with the amount of people smoking on the premises, near the pool and in the restaurant area. And not only cigarettes, other substances too.

Really nice time here ! Loved it

Really enjoyed my stay here! The rooftop restaurant was a lovely place to chill / watch the sunset and the food was really yummy! The pool area was also really nice !! Sociable fun vibe - good for solo travellers

The rooms were fine but were a little basic. I was on the top bunk and I would have appreciated a curtain like the lower bunk!

Perfect place to meet new people ! Very kindly staff, nice pool and superb kitchen ! Big room with bathroom and hot water 😉there was a lot of young people and every evening they organise different events on the rooftop!! Near to the city centre, they rent you motorbike to explore around Kampot!

Amazing, chilled. Would definitely return!!

Amazing rooftop bar with good vibes and a good mix of people. Great affordable food and some adorable dogs (Shrimpy). Taco night was 10/10. Friendly staff!! Spacious and comfortable room.

Slight drain smell, but not so bad if you cover the drain with the bin. A good half an hour walk to the centre however super cheap tuk tuks available.

An amazing place run by amazing people (with a couple little caveats)!

There are so many things to love about this place. The staff are incredibly lovely, I was so sad to say goodbye. The beds are comfy and the aircon is good. It’s nice that there are both private bathrooms and ones outside of the room. The pool is great to swim in and the bar has fantastic cheap drinks. Also very reasonable charge for good condition motorbikes ($5 a day). I am grateful for the time I spent there and all the amazing people who work so hard!

I like to be really covered at night, and they only have sheets (not blankets). Even with two I was cold. The WiFi only works about half the time, which can be frustrating. I ate at the restaurant for almost all of my meals in Kampot, because the food was yummy and cheap and convenient. But myself and 2 other guests got bad cases of food poisoning while there, and since this was the only place we had the same meal it’s the obvious common denominator. It made me sick for a few days which was really unpleasant.

Incredible stay

It’s so good we extended our stay by 5 days! We were in a private room which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The hostel is a little bit out of town so it is very peaceful, the bar and restaurant are awesome and it’s such a great place to meet people. A big shout out to all the staff who make this place truly incredible. Special mention to Vin and Rath at reception for helping us with everything we needed. Highly highly recommend staying

Social hostel but not the best dorms

Gorgeous spot with incredible views. Rooftop was a great place with good food and drinks. The social night was also really fun

The 6 bed dorms out the back aren’t in the best condition. There was black mould covering the aircon pipe that ran right next to my head in bed. If I were to come back I’d definitely pay the little bit extra for the other dorms

Sociaal en gezellig hostel met veel activiteiten in de rooftop bar (met mooi uitzicht) Fijne privé kamer met goed bed, airco en badkamer. Veel mogelijkheden in de buurt en scooterverhuur is goedkoop en goed.

Godt og fint sted dog ret meget røg

Personalet specielt Rath og Vin i receptionen var søde og snakkede virkelig godt engelsk. Hotellet og personalet var venlige og lavede en fod mad til nogle rimelige priser. Der var en god pool og bordtennis.

Selv om man skulle tage sko af blev deroverraskende beskidt. Og næsten 9 ud af 10 røg uafbrudt så man nedstem ikke kunne spise uden at komme lugtene væk der fra

Great place to stay!

Karma Traders Kampot is a great place to stay for both solo travellers as couples (or group of friends). The rooftop terrasse is super nice and the food excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool area is very nice especially during these hot days. We loved the hostel’s activities: food themes per day of the week, for instance taco Tuesday,… we would definitely stay there again if we come back to Kampot!

Felt like home!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, we asked them a lot of questions, and they answered everything. We also got help to book our individual tour we wanted, that they didn’t sell (whole day - National Park, pepper farm, caves and salt fields). The Tacos and food in general were amazing and they have plenty of vegetarian options aswell. The view from the Bar is pretty and the slepping pods are good for privacy.

Its a bit outside of the city center, but the town is not that big and there are TukTuks and also Motorbikes available so thats fine. Also to get down from the top bunk is a little bit tricky (if youre small) because the last step is way off the ground

Très bon logement. Grande chambre. Calme. Très propre. Très bonne ambiance. Très bons plats. Personnel très sympa. On peut rencontrer des gens facilement. Pas mal d'activités. Piscine agréable.

Great common area and had a lot of activities organised throughout the week. Live music and taco Tuesday were very good. A bit outside the town but had bike rental services available. Staff were very accommodating and offered to book onward travel and gave recommendations
