Great poolside cottages. Very comfy! Pool was amazing and enjoyed the boat ride put on in the evening for all guests.
Buffet dinner was a disappointment. Could do with an updated entertainment/TV in rooms. Only place we stayed in India without a TV where you could stream something if you had a spare hour.

Nice big room with view over the superb !! swimming pool. Good restaurant and good food. In house massage service. We appreciate the few long chairs for relaxing before and after swimming. In many Indian hotels these are non existent.
We stayed in the main building on 1st floor with view on the swimming. I don’t know if I would like to stay in one of the bungalows. All people walking right in front of you. Europeans like to relax in the sun on their terrace. That’s not something the Indian people seem to do

Everything was perfect, the pictures do not de serve this stunning place. When you arrive, the reception room let you above the words. The pool is amazing, really amazing! Quiet, warm, it was so nice to relax in front of the lake. What a view. The ayurvedic spa is perfect and the restaurant serve so tasty food. Anyway, it's beyond an explanation.
Nothing.

Property is excellent! Well maintained, best location, really nice staff, service 110% effective!
No bar in the property; so bring your stash :)
I hate Booking.com
Especially when they show an amount at the time of booking and and different about at the property. They call the customers Genius and then treat them like stupid!
In this case when I booked the villas it shows Rs 89k, it also shows me being " Genius" other charges are waived off.
Booking.com took away all the good memories that we had in the property.

Excellent pool
6.0
Pool, lake views, room size
Rooms could have been designed better and could have had additional facilities. For instance, there was no TV in the living room. Secondly, while they name rooms with private pool, there is in reality no privacy as other other guests can see that pool as well.

I like the pool sight.. I enjoyed very much..The food was delicious.. However in the summer season the room was not suitable as in the cottage ac was not enough to cool the room....

The staff was wonderful and cordial. We travelled to rhythm for our son's birthday. They had no qualms about allowing us early access to the gardens for a mini photo shoot. Parents travelled to join us next day for breakfast and even though they didn't have a room booked, they were extended the same cordial treatment as the guests. Will definitely recommend.
My wife missed her foundation & eye liner after using it in the common WC, the staff was unable to locate the same though they did make multiple attempts to locate it.

The swimming pool is simply amazing and is probably one of the longest single-stretch pools in India. They are have a swimming pool for children adjacent to the main pool. The Spa option is very good and I got the treatment done for me twice and for all my family members. We booked three villas for six nights (with plunge pools) and the size of the rooms was great, children had plenty of space to run around. Especial shout out to the restaurant staff who were very helpful and helped me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my father's 70th which we will cherish forever. The property have their own Shikara service which runs every evening for free at 5PM and they also provide complementary tea and coffee services just prior to that.
The rooms were tidy and clean.
The property is getting dated and it shows, you can't treat it as a luxury property but as a serviceable 5 star. What really surprised us was that there was no bar at the property and you had to bring your own alcohol. This was very surprising for a 5 star property.
Whilst the front desk staff were helpful with the taxi services, we never got the feeling that they will go over and beyond to help. For example we were told that most of the bookings (village tour, houseboat experience) were not available due to G20 but we were easily able to book these online. Our stay coincided with the financial year end of 2023 and the hotel asked us to settle the invoice till 31st March 2023 (we were staying till 5th April) which is very unusual but we decided to settle anyway. This obviously doesn't happen anywhere else in the hospitality industry.
The food quality was good but not great though there were a lot of South and North Indian options available. We opted for in-room dining every night for the children and there was a 20% extra charge for it which is unusually high. Usually in-room dining is provided free in India at 5 star properties or at a nominal/fixed charge.
The house keeping was a definite let down. They didn't provide us with more than two towels even when requested and we really had to make this point clear (due to children we needed more towels) before this was appreciated. The hand wash in the room wasn't filled even through it was fully empty for more than two days.
The hotel can also do with some in-room treatment for ants and there were far too many of them.

This is my second review for this location - because it was so amazing that we decided to stay longer and book again - what else is there to say!

location is amazing with good view of vembanad lake and the pool. The sunset view was breathtaking. Food in the Resturant was delicious but fairly expensive. BOAT cruise for engulfing feel of the lake was a good addon as complimentary but the boat with a high deck would be great.
plunge pool could have more private space and also provision of pool play accessories was missing. The mosquitoes entered through netting in bathroom.Kids play area provision was not available.

The property is beautifully setup. The infinity pool with sunset view, the large rooms, big beds, great food especially buffet and overall ambience make it a memorable stay. The place is great for kids, due to shallow and clean pool. I had a great time with my family. Highly recommended.
Food was a tad expensive
