If I could give more stars I would!
The natural beauty of the location of the property, the incredible views from any window that you looked out, the beautifulness of the home, the tasteful décor, the exceptionally well stocked home, and spa like amenities blew us away. The night sky was awe inspiring. I can't say enough good things about the place. Paradise indeed.

Beautiful, quiet spot not too far from other island attractions
We had a party of five, and we all loved the place. The beautiful view of the ocean was unobstructed from other homes and the neighborhood was practically silent. The house had a big open central layout for hanging out with private wings for the bedrooms. We would love to go back.

Unbelievable
This property is amazing. The minute we walked in, we decided that we never wanted to go home. My favorite activities in the house included relaxing on the back porch/lanai overlooking the ocean and taking warm evening showers in outdoor shower. Having the kitchen and laundry facilities was wonderful. We had the astronomer come out to use the telescope with us and it was an incredible, must-do experience. Our kids loved using the boogie boards and sand toys at the beach. There is even a cart in the garage to transport your gear at the beach. I almost don’t want to recommend this property because we loved it so much that we want it to be available next time we return . 😄

A great place to stay
The owners and property managers have thought of everything to make a guest feel as if they are at home. The neighborhood is perfect. And best of all, the night sky is dark for observing.

Stunning property!!! Great staff and perfect location. You must stay here!

Beautiful
Beautiful house, great for family time. The kitchen is amazing, along with the rooms, bathrooms and you have to love the lanai. As with other reviews the only thing that would have made it 5-star is if the hot tub was actually hot. We followed the directions exactly every day to get the hot tub heated up, but it only made it to 89 degrees, the pool was 87.
The normal stuff not typically reviewed: Towels, bedding, plates, kitchen equipment, furniture, beach gear; all the normal things we could take for granted, were great.

Insanely Great
Steve Jobs coined the phrase “insanely great” and this can aptly be applied to this property. It’s the best AirBnB we’ve stayed and and we are avid users. Spacious, clean, modern, it feels like it was outfitted by the Four Seasons and has the most spectacular views. We actually liked being 30 min away from Kona at Kohala Ranch. We’d also recommend participating in the unique astronomy offer that Jeff & Suzanne can orchestrate. It was amazing. I know we’ve never met, but I can assure you that you will love this place

Beautiful House! Great Location!
This house was perfect for our getaway. We loved the two master bedrooms with outdoor showers. Modern kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices. Everything we needed to cook while we were there. Also really appreciated the beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear. The view was great- we could see whales jumping and breaching from the lanai.
Super easy check in and out- no problems at all. We would definitely come back!

Phenomenal family stay, panoramic views
The house feels like a home, its very well designed with an eye for detail (everything from cushions to couches, to bar stools), great hot showers, a bath (a plus a for daddy & baby bath time), spacious & supercomfy bedrooms & fantastic modern kitchen that was a pleasure to use.
We had a big party with us & with friends on the Island we were easily 6-10 people at any one time, including our astonishing 8month daughter (& yes, great cot). The open kitchen, large & high ceiling living room were perfect for entertaining & cooking numerous meals - from Taco Tuesday, to cajon stews, to pizzas, to steaks on the BBQ outside... We spent most of the time in this part of the house that opens up the lanai, with panaromic views of the ocean.
Saw plenty of whales breaching, stunning sunsets & for the avian lovers - there are some beautiful birds in red & black tuxs, hues of yellow & white herons.
Some other highlights included:
Hanging out in the hottub at night & watching the night sky along with its cloack of stars. For us city folk, pure magic & bliss whilst sipping on some whiksy sours
Great little stretch of soft green grass, that we used for some training, playing & walking with the little one.
The biggest binoculars I have ever seen, which made the lifestsyle watching that much easier.
Plenty of equipment for beach & pool use.
Again, just taken aback by the overal high taste & quality in the design & outfitting of the home. Top shelf work.
Great washer dryers, imperative when u got a little one with you!
Amazing entertainment set-up: we watched everythign from NBA games on cable, to signing in on apple TV, to Netflix movies - all set-up very intuitively.
Shuters that go down when the afternoon sun gets too hot
The two master bedrooms with views of the ocean
Plenty of rooms in the Showers.
Just great couch & lounging area, again was perfect for the little one
Plenty of sun
Very well kept grounds
Fantastic running paths across the ranch enclosure. Try the run up to the mountain, its c. 6miles & over 2,500 feet of elevation where you literally see the terrain & ecosystem change before your eyes... one of the coolest runs I have ever done. Also one of the slowest 6miles I have ever run :) It more like a grind up.... also very walkable...
Cons
Plenty of Sun, the family loves The Sun.... personally I prefer a bit more variety & landscape that is greenery

Beautiful property, gorgeous views, tepid showers
The home is beautiful both inside and out. Construction quality is good and the owners have clearly taken their time in interior design and layout. However, the solar hot water heating system is inadequate and a week of luke-warm showers really detracted from our vacation. The pool was cool all week and the hot tub never reached 100 degrees, so there was no recourse for warming up.

Incredible view, privacy abounds
Recently got back from our family vacation at Home of the Milky way. We were three adult (family) couples. With three bedrooms, 3 baths and 2 outdoor showers there was lots of room. The outdoor living space was fantastic with view over the ocean. Whale watching was easy and the sunsets were breathtaking. We basically lived outside as the table and loungers on the lanai were so comfortable. Pool was very large and the salt water made being in it a joy. Manager was very responsive when we ran out of propane for heating the hot tub. My husband loved the telescope and spent every night using it, the sky was so black because the subdivision encourages it. We had an astronomer from Keck come out and open the observatory and that made for a wonderful special night. Place is great if you like privacy, very quite and totally non touristy. It's only 10 minute drive to Mauna Kea resort or Waimea, 20 mins to Mauna Lani / Waikoloa. This was a perfect place for adults who don't want to be surrounded by tourists and traffic. Truly Hawaii. We would definately return.

Great house but a few flaws.
This is a new house with incredible interior finishes. The kitchen and kitchen supplies could not have been better. That was VERY important to us. Unfortunately the water pressure in the showers was quite low and doing anything else while showering (flushing, laundry, etc. ) was out of the question. The temperature was also just ok. Outdoor showers and 3rd non master shower had NO hot water.Hot tub was not hot, just luke warm. We were active hikers and normally the hot tub is very important to us. The Apple TV did not work but no one missed it. Alas, perfection is fleeting. Great kitchen, great beds, quiet, awesome views, gated, snorkel gear, chairs, etc.

Beautiful Space
This comfortable home has expansive views of ocean, mountains and sky and everything you need for some time off from your regular life.
The kitchen is well-equipped, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the night sky with the special treat of being able to use the telescope.
