Vanwege aanbieding prijs/ kwaliteit prima.

Het zit in een rustige straat vlakbij het zeer drukke Ubud. Bijzondere accomodatie met spirituele tint. Het heeft wel hier en daar een opknapbeurt nodig. Vriendelijk personeel. Op loopafstand vind je traditionele eethuisjes.

Eenpersoonsbed wat smal, matras prima. Badkamer waren wat mieren en wcpot los. Wij vonden de dieren, uilen, eekhoorns in kooien wat zielig.

The upstairs room (I was level 3) are light and spacious, my room had a bath and shower overhead which I prefer over the shower and toilet in one as water goes everywhere, the location was great I walked everywhere, the gardens are beautiful but more the property does have extremely loud ‘musical’ frogs which honk all night so i had to wear earplugs to sleep properly, the staff were lovely and very helpful, I would stay again 🙏

I was first put in a downstairs room which I didn’t like, it was too dark and I could hear noise from next door and above me, I had a cold shower as the gas hadn’t been refilled and ants were coming in due to the excessive rain Ubud was having so I asked to change rooms the next day and they did accommodate me which I appreciated

Lovely!

Lovely staff, breakfast, very clean, pool, lovely garden.

A bit further than we expected from the centre of ubud, half and hour walk and the road wasn’t great for walking.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I also loved the Balinese massage.

It’s currently going through some renovations, and I am sure it will be even better.

I spent an incredible time here

It is a beautiful and very quiet place, full of nature or sounds of birds and other animals, the room is very spacious and comfortable, everything is very clean and the bed is excellent to rest in, the staff is very adorable and attentive, they always ask you how you are. I loved their hospitality, the breakfasts are delicious! I will return to the Liyer Spirit house without a doubt

We came around 12pm and we totally understood that the check in time was at 2pm. The receptionist insisted that I haven't paid for our booking and she took ages to confirm and to solve it even though I helped her by calling Booking.com and she talked to them too. She wasn't friendly at all maybe because we're local guests (she was very sweet & friendly when she talked to a foreigner guest while I was waiting). The actual condition of the property wasn't the same like the photos. It wasn't that clean and there're some spider web here and there. The bed sheet was torn. They didn't clean up our room on daily basis, they only cleaned our room 1 day before we leave the property. When we asked for clothing rack (which is promised on the description), she directly answered that they didn't have it but it appeared in the end. I think positive attitudes is important. I know that the property needs some repairs and maintenance but the positive attitudes will help balancing the property condition. Hope you can improve to be better in the future. Good luck.

I like how near it is to everywhere, including the supermarkets and cafes as well as the shops. They are just abt 5 - 15 mins walking distance away.

I think it’s a recurring problem in Bali, there’s many bugs and insects. Just to have make sure the doors are closed if you don’t want any insects flying in.

Liyer Spirit House has changed compared from 7 years ago that we visited last. It was evident, the conditions has changed due to Pandemic. Nonetheless, the vibe is still good, the staff were very kind and willing to re-start again. I would say, it is a very good value for money. The location is great, very quiet and calm area, we stay at the top floor and the view was very pleasant. Overall is a very good deal and we enjoyed our stay.

Maybe a bit more detail in the bathroom maintenance would be great.

Lovely except mattresses.

The owners and staff were wonderful. The staff did not speak English which made communication difficult.

The mattresses but all mattresses are just too firm. Very damaging to my back!

The bed was very comfortable. The property is very quiet. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was lovely. It was a bit out of town which was ok. Breakfast was lovely.

The rooms were a great size but there was a bit of mold on the walls that had been clearly covered up with more wallpaper. The tub was a bit grimy. They need new towels. Many of them were stained and nobody wants to dry off with stained towels.

Absolutely fantastic!

This is a brilliant little find and would highly recommend. As it was low season we were the only guests, no complaints there. Room was big, comfy, clean and more than adequate with a bath and shower. The pool was amazing! Staff were very attentive and nothing was a problem. For breakfast you get a fruit a salad and the choice of a cooked meal, along with tea/coffee. Not the biggest portions but still good. In high season they have do lunch & dinner but... ...about 5 min walk gets you onto the main road with restaurants and bars, 10-15 min and you will be within reach of the Monkey Sanctuary and more restaurants, shops etc. You are spoilt for choice! We rented a scooter from Liyer Spirit House for the equivalent of about £3 a day and you can book other excursions through the front desk if required. The day we left our taxi was quite early so they happily packed our breakfast into a takeaway box and gave us cutlery. Fantastic service. We would highly recommend this accommodation option for Ubud. Dont be put off by the "walking distance to Ubud" because its packed with restaurants, bars, spas and more along the way and a great selection of places to visit.

Exceptional

Food is great. Location was also good to. Relatively near the other spots we went to. The staff are all nice, even accommodated to have breakfasts served earlier than their schedule. The pool is nice too.

The restaurant is only open during breakfast hours. The roads near the hotel did not have street lights on. Around 1am during our 2nd day I tried to go out to get food but there were very few street lights so I did not have the enough courage to go out. There were frogs (I'm sorry I really do not like them, but it's just me),
