The cabin was wonderful! Exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Location was perfect for us in a very quiet, peaceful woods away from any noise. The cabin was quant and perfectly “old school,” relaxing and had all we needed and more. Can’t say enough about this home. Would love to own it! Hint hint! We will be back in the fall.

Everything was clean and nice, but we did not enjoy the crammed main floor bathroom. Beds were comfy but the pillows were not. We were pleased to have box fans also as there are no ceiling fans! All in all a nice stay!

We enjoyed the surroundings, the local food was great, the local scenery. The trails were wonderful. We enjoyed all of that, only issue was the cabin itself, it’s very outdated if there had been more than two of us, we would’ve asked for a new place to stay. Because even though the basement was beautiful, it was unusable the mildew smell actually made my husband sick. He had to stand outside until he cleared up. The ceiling fan in the living room, was falling off, with vaulted ceilings, we were unable to reach it. We couldn’t use it so we were forced to depend on the box fans that were supplied to us for fresh air. The house was filthy, be careful opening the windows, it was disgusting and filthy spider webs bugs of all kinds. Even under our master bedroom bed was trash, just needed a vacuum under there, I didn’t pay over $1000 to clean. I was tempted though. But we enjoyed our anniversary. Regardless, we did not let that ruin it. But I’d never stay there again it needs a complete makeover. And you could tell that they’re trying to take care of the issues by running a dehumidifier and stuff but it’s past that, wasn’t gonna clear up the mold.

Property was exactly as described. Previous reviews mentioned moldy basement, but we did not notice a smell. It was a bit chilly in the basement at night, but that’s the only complaint. The only downside was the distance from the property to the road, and all the dirt. But once you were out of the property area, there was lots to see and explore in the area.
