Horrible experience

The property itself was fine, good location, had everything that was needed etc

The host was an extremely rude, angry man who made myself and my friend feel very unwanted and on edge. We were running late with check in and this started the whole process of him being very abrupt etc (I had a family emergency so therefore arrived a few hours later which was not acceptable according to him) so after some stern words and threats on how he might not even let us stay we were able to calm him down and he decided to let us stay: this clearly wasn’t a great start to the trip and was very upsetting to myself and my friend. Then on leaving the property he came to collect the keys and as there was a used ash tray with cigarette ends inside left OUTSIDE ON THE BALCONY he told us to “f**k off out of his apartment or he would be getting the police for us” which again left us both very shaken etc. just to state no smoking took place inside the building whatsoever so and as he was becoming more angry etc for no reason at all we both left as quickly as possible and without having one last look round the property to check we had all belongings my friend acctually left very sentimental, valuable jewellery in the bedroom but we have both felt too intimidated to contact the property about getting these items returned.. would definitely not recommend this stay to anyone

Parkeren motoren mocht bij uitzondering in p garage. Ligging op 15 minuten van centrum. Uitzicht. Supermarkt naast de deur.

Moeilijk te vinden. Tip. Bij bord KFC links drive tru volgen. Na sportschool direct links.

Very comfortable, well equipped perfect!!

The location was excellent & the unit itself was amazing, very large with everything you needed for a comfortable stay

Superb

Loved this apartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet right on the river front. Amenities couldn't be faulted. Easy walk into town, no need for public transport. Peter is a warm, helpful and welcoming host. Loved Derry and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay Peter.

Perfect stay in Derry

Peter is a lovely host and it was a pleasure being his guests. The apartment is in a newer building on the Quay with beautiful views over the Foyle River. If you wake up early, you can see the sunrise from your bed. The apartment is spacious, warm, clean and cozy, beds are very comfortable and there’s no noise from the neighbours so we had a great sleep. We’ll surely return here.

Great Host, great location, very comfortable flat.

Ideally located apartment right on the river. Easy walk along the river to reach Derry proper.

Ideal location for short stay, perhaps more creature comforts if staying longer (e.g. Zero storage space in Bedroom 2) This did not detract from the stay - ideal for the length of time for us.

Fab location as you could walk to centre of Derry along the Foyle. Free parking at accommodation. Could self cater if required. Having 2 bathrooms was great for 2 bedrooms. Loved the view and balcony. Peter was a helpful host.

The apartment was very clean and fresh. Was greeted by the host Peter upon arrival and he was very welcoming and made checking in and out very easy and stress free. It was local to the city centre with only a short walk and the views were beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for our requirements. Very friendly host. Amazing city to explore.

Location was amazing as so close to the Foyle Maritime Festival and still easy walking to the town centre. The apartment is more spacious than the photos suggest, with good sized bedrooms and especially the kitchen / living room area. Really great to have riverfront views too.

Nothing really to be picky about to be honest.

Truly Legenderry

From start to finish the stay was without hassle and just what we needed/wanted. Peter is the perfect host.The condition and location of the apartment reinforced that Derry is a town we love so well!

Brilliant apartment with excellent location

Huge apartment everything you could possibly need. Milk in fridge tea & coffee available for us to use. Excellent location beautiful views of the river Foyle.

Lovely apartment

Lovely spacious apartment, beautiful views of the river. Great location

No on site protected parking which meant my infirm mother in law had to walk a bit, although we could park quite close. All the cupboards were filled with food from previous guests to the point where there was no room to put ours, the freezer was also full.

Superb

This apartment was exactly what we wanted. It was roomy, clean, well furnished and equipped. It had fresh flowers on the dining room table!! All the windows looked over the river, right on the waterfront so no traffic noise at all and a lovely little balcony which caught the morning sun. It is a short walk from the old city and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Peter was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. I highly recommend this apartment!!

Lovely short visit in great apartment

The apartment was a great size for the 3 of us with a very large open plan living/dining/ kitchen area, 2 good size double bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean & well equipped and had fabulous views over the river. Just a short walk from the city centre & walls and with great places to eat nearby it was the perfect spot for our 3 day visit. It’s also in easy reach of great places to visit, such as the gorgeous beaches in neighbouring Donegal. The host was very friendly & helpful and we’re already planning a return visit.

It was all good. Nothing negative to say.

Perfect family apartment

The accommodation was just perfect for us, with two small children. A very comfortable and well appointed apartment with everything we needed, in the ideal location. You can walk (or scoot!) easily along the River Foyle to get to the heart of the city, and there are many cafés and restaurants en route for dining in or take away. Peter is the perfect host. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyable, comfortable stay for family of four

The location was good and within 15 mins walk from the centre of city. The apartment was clean and tidy, very spacious with comfortable beds, two bathroom were great for the family use. Peter was very friendly and helpful. Overall would recommend and return.

Nothing that we can say that we didn’t like. Anything we needed was there and available to use.

Central but quiet, comfortable, clean and just perfect to stay in.

Loved everything about the apartment, comfortable, clean, had everything that was needed. Beautiful view. Peter was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect and plan to stay again later in the year. Would highly recommend the apartment.

Beautiful river front apartment fantastic host looking forward to next trip.

Location could not have been any better. Beautiful apartment over looking the river with easy access to town and restaurants. Peter the host was very welcoming and helpful. Apartment was spotless and very spacious.

I could not fault anything only having to return home. We had an amazing weekend.
