felt like a real cultural experience to stay in the house and very spacious.
felt cold at night due to no heating but sufficient bedding to accommodate

This is a wonderful old building. We loved the terrace with it s views of the sea and the town even though the terrace furniture is falling apart. There is interesting art on the walls and the sitting area is pleasant.
This property is completely unsuited for winter letting and needs some investment in the comfort of guests for any time of year. There is no heating at all. The bed is essentially a mattress on the floor. The shower is inadequate. We were unable to get help from the agent. Important to note that there are four flights of stairs to the apartment.

Traditional setup. Very impressive. Listening to the neighbours from time to time should not be a problem.

It's an impressive traditional canarian house, staying here was an unforgetable experience. Beautiful and huge living room, cosy courtyard.
It's an old house, so don't expect much comfort:
- sound isolation is very bad, you can hear everything from other rooms, from neighbours, from cafe downstairs
- wi-fi is only available in the living room, not bedrooms
- it's a bit dark and dusty
- we didn't have accsses to the rooftop terrace
- 2nd bedroom bathroom doesn't have a door, only a curtain
- 3rd bedroom is very small and it doesn't have it's own bathroom, which means you have to use bathrooms that are connected with oher bedrooms and it feels a bit odd

OMG! The greatest gift to myself. It's an old historic building and I booked it after reading raving reviews. Gorgeous property and charming Canarian architecture to be working remotely from. I had the entire floor in the attic with access to a roof top and a humungous living room with open kitchen concept fully-equipped with all cooking utensils, juicer, a coffee maker, and a dish washer.
I definitely fully utilized the kitchen since I was working remotely. I squeezed OJ for the week and cooked some fine dinners. The town Orotava is beautiful and historical, so I was able to do my 4-mile run everyday, during my lunch hour and checked out the town that way.
Supermarket is 2 blocks away, there are a handful of cute-boutiquey stores minutes away, a nice coffee/bakery/sandwich shop right downstairs in the building. Parking was on the street and I mostly found a spot right in front of the building.
Wi-Fi in the living room was excellent and that was good enough for me as I used the table to get my work done. I didn't care to browse the Internet from the bedroom where the signal is low.
I love exploring new places every time I travel, but I foresee myself coming back to La Orotava just to stay in this grand apartment.
The sink clogged in the bathroom and the final day the water didn't drain. It needs to be fixed.

Incredible house, beautiful atmosphere, fantastic host. One of the best properties I've rented in my life. The terrace is just amazing. Can't wait to go back to Orotava!
Maybe the light could be improved. Living room and expecially the kitchen area should have more light. This room becomes pretty dark at night.

The property is breathtakingly beautiful and it’s like staying in a museum! There is a stunning courtyard and my attic apartment with a private terrace was beyond gorgeous. Absolutely stunning decor and huge! The views are out of this world.
As it is a historic home, the walls and floors are thin so you can hear the apartments next-door. However, I would not let this put you off from staying here as your neighbors are likely to be extremely friendly and educated people to choose such a place as this. Think of it as staying in a museum because that’s how it felt to me, a huge privilege to stay in a place like this.
I watered the plants on the roof terrace as I’m sure that with lack of rain from climate change, they need a bit of extra care.

Lovely old house in the cosy center of Orotava. We stayed at the place with 3 pers (with a baby). Lots of space, charm and quite spots to relax.
