In a garrigue environment, 3kms from the center of Uzès, apartment in a house, on the ground floor, not overlooked, with independent entrance. The apartment faces the swimming pool (9. 5. x 4. 00) and the garden, which is somewhat separate from the owners' area. It is wooded with oaks, pines, olive trees.
The apartment consists of a living room (flat screen TV), dining area, a kitchen (fridge, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, etc.), a bedroom with a 140 cm bed , cupboard, a bathroom and a separate toilet.
In the garden are deckchairs, deckchairs, and a dining table under the trees.
You can have an electric plancha.
The garden is fenced with a covered parking space.
You can get to the center of Uzès in 5 minutes by car or in 20 minutes on foot via a garrigue path. Many paths allow you to take walks around, especially towards the source of the Eure valley which fed the city of Nimes via the Pont du Gard, in Roman times.
Close to all shops on foot, the Haribo museum.
Avignon is 30 kms away, Nimes 25 kms, the Cévennes in 45 minutes and the beaches in 1 hour

This beautiful apartment with a pool was a delight. Our hosts Etienne and Marie were most welcoming but also afforded us complete privacy. The apartment was beautifully designed and decorated and very well equipped. While it is possible to hike into Uzes on a lovely trail, the property is too far from the village itself to casually stroll into town; the 10 minute drive into town was fine. The swimming pool is absolutely wonderful.

We had a week at the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The only issue was mosquito's, which tool a liking to pale Scottish flesh, but we bought plenty of repellent from the pharmacy which seemed to keep them at bay. The accommodation was lovely though, very comfortable and we appreciated the books and artwork on the walls. As a location, Uzes is ideal for exploring the region. We visited the Carmargue, Arles, Avignon and spent a couple of days just enjoying Uzes itself. Pont du Guard is 5 minutes away by car and amazing to see. Coming back to the pool was delightful as a way to cool of from the hot days. It was up to 39 degrees during the week we were there so a refreshing dip was most welcome. Ettienne and Marie were lovely.

Comfortable, well-equipped gite, peaceful yet ideally located for the town of Uzès and local shops. The pool is fabulous and quite private, and the owners are lovely: very low-profile but available if you need them. Thoroughly recommended!

The apartment is really beautifully furnished and had everything we needed - the private pool is a real bonus. The owners Etienne and Marie Carmen were very welcoming and helpful. It's in a really quiet area, yet also close to shops. Uzes is a lovely town and we enjoyed exploring the area, including Nimes, the Pont du Gard (very close!), St Remy de Provence, the Camargue and driving up into the Cevennes. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Wir waren über zwei Wochen zu Gast bei Étienne und Mari Carmen und konnten dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbringen. Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den Angaben und ist in echt sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Alles war top gepflegt. Unser Gastgeber erkundigte sich auch immer wieder ob bei uns alles passe und war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt können wir diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung entsprechen genau den Fotos. Es ist alles vorhanden, was für einen Aufenthalt von 2 Personen benötigt wird. Der Garten und der Pool, der exklusiv genutzt werden darf, sind so geschickt durch Gebäude und Vegetation abgeschirmt, dass der Eindruck einer sehr privaten Abgeschiedenheit entsteht. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und wurden auch während des Aufenthaltes regelmäßig gefragt, ob es ein Problem gäbe. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön im mediterranen Stil gestaltet. Uns ist darüber hinaus sehr positiv aufgefallen, dass unsere Gastgeber sehr umweltbewusst sind. Ich kann das Apartment sehr empfehlen

Wij hebben genoten van ons verlof mede dankzij de mooie vakantiewoning met alles erop en eraan. Het zwembad deed zeker deugd na een dagje wandelen of fietsen. De eigenaars zijn super vriendelijk en hebben respect voor je privé. Het is eer ook heel rustig. Gewoon genieten dus...

Nous avons fort aimé notre séjour à Uzès. Le gîte est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Bonne literie, le tout d'une propreté que nous n'avons jamais rencontré dans aucun pays. En plus, la piscine est privée pour le gîte et a bien servie. Nous remercions Mari Carmen et Etienne, qui sont très gentils et accomodants, mais par la même occasion très discrèts. Nous espérons revenir dans un futur proche.

Petite location pour deux, agréablement décorée, un bel espace extérieur dans la végétation et la piscine comme agrément. Belles prestations en général, un lieu reposant bien situé et des hôtes attentifs au bien être de leurs vacanciers. Nous recommanderions sans hésiter.

Location très propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jardin, la piscine (même si la température de l’eau était un peu fraîche pour la saison !) et le calme de l’endroit. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et discrets. Une adresse idéale pour se ressourcer et profiter de cette belle région.

Superbe séjour ! Tout était bien. L appartement décoré avec goût était parfait pour un couple . Rien ne manque , très propre, calme, on s’y sent bien immédiatement.Tout cela , en grande partie, grâce à nos hôtes, charmants, attentionnés et de bons conseils : La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine : il faudra absolument que nous revenions , plus longtemps la prochaine fois !

We hebben genoten van de woning, de tuin het zwembad en de gastvrije, vriendelijke eigenaren. Rust, vrijheid, stilte. Niets ontbrak: goede keukenuitrusting en gezellige kamer en slaapkamer. Nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Hartelijk dank Etienne en Mari Carmen.

Nous avons passé 15 jours inoubliables chez Mari Carmen et Étienne dans leur location très propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût à proximité de tous les commerces sur une très jolie colline résidentielle . La piscine privée est exceptionnelle et toujours très bien entretenue par Étienne . Les propriétaires sont d une grande gentillesse et très avenants tout en vous laissant une grande intimité . Marie et Étienne sont également de très bons conseils dans le choix de vos Excursions et restaurants ( ah ! Le Tracteur a Argilliers à ne pas manquer ) Sans aucun doute lors d un prochain séjour à UZES , ce sera à l ‘Orée de l ‘Eure !
