About this house rental

Short walking distance to downtown Boise, BSU, Foothills, and Greenbelt. It's the perfect location for work or play. Our Bungalow offers all the comforts of home, one bedroom (queen), one bath, pull out sofa bed (queen). Newly remodeled throughout, small kitchen, full laundry room as well as a private patio that offers a BBQ, and comfortable seating. Bike cruiser available for exploring beautiful Boise.

The space

This bungalow is quaint and comfortable. Built by the Basque owner in the 40's it suits the Historic East End perfectly. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, flatware, pots, pans and utensils. The same creature comforts as home. There is a fully functioning utility room if you need to do a load of laundry. Bathroom with towels, washcloths, and a blow dryer in case you forgot yours. A large screen TV with sound bar and smaller TV in the bedroom. Fold-out couch for extra guests and a comfortable private porch with ample seating to host friends for a cookout.

This little bungalow was very cute and cozy. It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of nearly everything Boise had to offer. Our host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Even in the extreme heat, the house was comfortable. We definitely would stay there again!

Had a wonderful stay in this sweet, lovely little bungalow. Everything was great. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful neighborhood, walks to the Roosevelt Market for a coffee and healthy treats, a glass of wine in the afternoon. Lynette and Stephen are fantastic hosts! We will return. Just Perfect!

This is the cutest cottage bungalow, in a great location. Super clean and tidy with all the things we needed. Comfortable bed with lots of extra pillows and blankets, we would definetly stay here again and highly recommend.

We came to town for my reunion. This was our first ever VRBO stay and it was absolutely the best. The hists were amazing. This place is best for just a couple. Romantic and charming.

We had an amazing stay and always try to stay here when we return to Boise. The home is clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Stephen and Lynette responded promptly for all question and needs. The location was fabulous. We walked everywhere…downtown for dinner, the Roosevelt Market for lunch and snacks, campus, the hills for hikes. Loved it!

Lynette and Stephen were wonderful hosts. Very responsible and considerate. Their wonderful bungalow was exactly what we were hoping for. We walked downtown everyday. Also walked to our nieces graduation on the Boise State campus. We saw where our other relatives stayed and have to say we thought our spot was the the perfect place. Wish we could have used the bikes too but a little too chilly for us. Cozy but very comfortable and clean. Thanks Lynette and Stephen. If we're every in Boise again, we will definitely look you up.

This bungalow was everything I was looking for when visiting Boise. I knew I wanted something in the East End that was quaint and charming. This definitely fit the bill. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed and sheets were nice too! Also, I love that there was a private, gated entry. The host was very kind and responsive and was able to provide certain amenities I needed. I would definitely stay here again. My stay and time in Boise was perfection.

The place was cozy and clean. Loved the neighborhood. Walkable to restaurants and hiking. Some of my favorites: Tin Roof, Deli George, Guido’s and Roosevelt market. I would stay again.

Perfect location for our stay in Boise. Hosts were very helpful and even left us a surprise in the fridge! While cozy, this space is great for 2 people. Access is easy. On street parking readily available. We will definitely be back.

This was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, clean, and very cozy. The hosts definitely took care to make this feel like home. I also appreciate that the cleaning fee actually covers cleaning, unlike some hosts who leave you a mile long chore list. Great location and private. Street entrance to a fenced patio. It felt very safe for a woman traveling alone.

In town for a long weekend, we took maximum advantage of this property's perfect location and our car barely moved from its parking spot! The property was in an awesome neighborhood within walking distance from downtown. When you want to Uber instead of walk it's only about $5-$7! The host was available if needed. We felt very safe and at home. Very clean! Would definitely stay here again!

This bungalow did not disappoint! Its simply adorable! And well equipped with what you need! Plus extras if you forgot anything! Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean! We ended up walking most everywhere it was so easy! Parks, the green belt, the zoo, BSU and shops downtown! It was Perfect! Thank you Lynette!

This is a perfect getaway for a couple with close access to walking paths and hiking trails. The Boise River is less than a mile, with many different parks and businesses nearby in this historic area.

This little house in the East End was perfect for us! Charming, clean, organized with all the amenities you could want in a 1940 cottage. The neighborhood is quiet, historic and bikable or walkable to lots to do. I can’t say enough good things about our stay, the hosts and that area of Boise! Will definately stay there again and again.

WHAT an amazing little bungalow!! If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood with a zen~like, peaceful feeling as soon as you open the gate and walk into the patio....then this is the place for you!! That sense of peace moves right through the front door with you and into the bungalow....SO light and airy and tastefully decorated with gems and beautiful photographs and simple/chic furnishings!!! We absolutely wanted to move in!! The bungalow is small, but plenty of room for the two of us and furnished with everything you need, including the kitchen! The patio would have been a delightful added bonus, however, the weather was not cooperative....next time we will enjoy coffee out there in the mornings!! :) The neighborhood is only blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but once you turn down Warm Springs Ave. it feels like you are miles away. This historical, original Boise neighborhood has quite the charm!! To top it off, Lynette was a pure joy to work with and communicated quickly to any questions and comments. I feel like I made a new friend even though we did not get to meet face to face!! You will definitely discover the best of good old fashioned, Idaho, hospitality by staying here!

There were plenty of pillows and blankets in this cozy single house. The host had graciously provided coffee, protein bars and some candy. The house is big enough for two and is well-lit with a large window to the porch. Communications were always brief and gracious. .... would definitely return.

We stayed for two weeks and were pleased with this nice little cottage. Appliances worked, the bed was comfortable, the location is close to the green belt and nice restaurants, it’s quiet at night, and it was warm even during a cold snap. Lynette and Steve are friendly and welcoming but never intrusive. If, during our 2 weeks here, we had had a problem I’m sure they would have responded immediately. It is small but for the two of us it was perfect.

We loved this property - the perfect size for my husband and I as we moved our son into BSU. Close to everything and the neighborhood is quiet and a perfect place for evening walks. They had everything we needed (loved having on site laundry) and it was super clean. Owners were super friendly and made sure we had all we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this little home and will 100% book again for future stays in Boise. It is super close to the BSU campus, downtown and surrounding areas, which made moving my daughter into her apartment for her sophomore year a piece of cake. I love the neighborhood so much - reminded me of my favorite ones in Oregon. Everything is quiet, laid back, and the hosts were very responsive to a couple questions I had in the first day or two. Small finds for a good price are hard to come by - this one was perfect and we are grateful for the relaxing stay!
