About this house rental

As of January 2023, there is a new house being constructed on the adjacent property. The project is estimated to last until December 2023; however, we are limited in knowing the exact timing and the possible impact delays may have. Current rates are reflective of this information.

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This luxury Kiawah Island vacation rental is in a prestigious neighborhood behind the second security gate. The home features 4 bedrooms, a private pool, and direct beach access via a path located behind the driveway.

The large family room is highlighted by soaring ceilings, ample windows and natural light, plenty of comfortable seating, and access to the screened porch. The dining area, that seats 6, and the fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the family room. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and offers high-end appliances, granite countertops, a kitchen island that seats 4, and butler’s pantry. The game room has a pool table, wall-mounted TV, comfortable seating, and access to the back deck. Travel through the game room, past the half bath, and see the first-floor master suite that features a king bed, TV, private bathroom with two vanities, walk-in shower, standalone bathtub, and large walk-in closet. A den with a TV is also located on the main floor.

Ascend the stairs to the second floor and you will see two bedroom entrances. One bedroom features a queen bed and private bathroom while the second bedroom features a twin over twin bunk bed, a twin bed, and a private bathroom. Both bedrooms have access to a porch. Go up to the third floor and you will find the upstairs master suite with a king bed, TV, and private bathroom.

The outdoor space is just as lovely as the interior. Enjoy the nature views while lounging on the back deck or relaxing in the screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan. A pool completes the outside features. There really is something for the whole family at this lovely home!

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. The home has a pool table for great family fun!

Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's front entrance and driveway. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $100/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

The property is stunning! Great location to the beach with lots of privacy. Wonderful memories were made by the whole family! Most importantly, it was so refreshing to just BE together as a family and enjoy the true beauty of the island.

This house was very true to the photos in the listing. The home was updated, well equipped, lots of living space and had everything we wanted, including close to the beach. We had to call about a few small maintenance items, but the listing group contacted us the same day and fixed the issue in 24 hours or less. Would recommend this for anyone but very family friendly

Positives: you can’t beat the location, the size of the house, and the fact that it has its own pool Negatives: the exterior and patio of the house is very dirty, several lights were out, faucets didn’t work, and the interior of the house wasn’t maintained well

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The photos showing a beautiful house were accurate. Everything was in working order and clean. The house was very large and so we had plenty of room to spread out and also to come together. We heated the pool since the nights were still cool and so were able to swim everyday. The ocean was mere steps away which was a nice surprise. Everyone was very happy with this property and we hope to book again for longer. It was most enjoyable and very easy checking in and out. I would highly recommend it.

We loved that it was separated from the house and deck by a gate which made us feel more safe with our younger children. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans that we needed. Despite being close to other houses, it felt like we were very secluded. The short walk to the beach was convenient for older family members. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great with an easy and beautiful path to the beach. The pool was amazing and loved the heat during our March stay, it got pretty cool and still we were able to swim each day. The street and area on the island was beautiful. The first floor master suite was amazing. Loved the pool table and cooked in the kitchen the whole week and weren’t missing anything. Maybe my only wish for were more screens in more windows, but that’s really stretching. It was a lovely stay and super easy booking and excellent communication again from Akers Ellis.

House is updated, kitchen fully stocked, bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and nice. It was a bit cool, so we didn’t use the pool as much as we’d have liked, but it was a nice feature to the home. Beach access is conveniently located out the back door and a short 3-4min walk. We’d definitely stay again. Rental agency was great too, answered all my questions with prompt responses. Looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

Nice property but lots of things not working. Elevator broken ( Mgt company knew but didn’t mention. Lights burned out in mstr closet and under all kitchen counters. 2/3 of remotes with dead batteries. Mold in upstairs bedroom closet. Crumbs under Dinning table. Counter tops dirty. Mstr.bath carpet dirty Upstairs bedroom carpet stained.

Great privacy and very quiet and relaxing. Nice pool. I would recommend stocking a few more baking dishes as we did more cooking than usual due to Covid and prepared all our meals at the rental. Appliances are a bit on the older side for price category of rental but house is really nice and we will stay there again. Rental agent caused us some unexpected stress by insisting delivery and set up people come into rental to set up a new pool table. Normally this would have been a nonissue and caused us inconvenience. But our family had gone to extra trouble to reduce contact with others as we traveled to Kiawah due to Covid threat. After several conversations back and forth, rental agent acquiesced and did not send workers into the rental. We were grateful for that.
