Ravis de notre séjour

Chambres mitoyennes très jolies et très propres qui donnent sur une petite cour très agréable. La literie est particulièrement confortable et les oreillers parfaitement douillets. Les boissons et les snacks du mini bar sont vraisemblablement au même prix qu au supermarché et nous avons bien apprécié de pouvoir prendre un apéritif bien frais en arrivant à un prix très raisonnable. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, avec des portions adaptées aux enfants. Propriétaires très sympas. Le village est très joli et il y a une aire de jeux pour enfants vraiment chouette. Étape parfaite sur notre route pour le nord de l Angleterre.

A very enjoyable couple of days away with lovely breakfasts

A great place to stay in Clare.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Very peaceful setting with lovely breakfast from attentive hosts.

There was nothing to dislike and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to spend the night.

Very enjoyable

Great location. Friendly owner. Beautifully cooked delicious bacon and fried eggs. Nicely decorated room

If the shower had been a bath and the bathroom a bit warmer it would have been perfect.

We loved our stay at Ship Stores & would stay again.

Great location in a lovely old world village. Very close to pubs & restaurants. The building was remodelled & quaint. Breakfast was amazing with several options for a cooked breakfast. We loved our stay here. Room was spotlessly clean, bed so comfortable, lovely linens and so quiet which provided a great nights sleep.

Just one little hiccup, the hot water supply in shower died, but owners offered us a shower in the main house which we accepted and this overcame the immediate problem. Owner also reduced the price on check out which more than compensated us for any inconvenience and was very much appreciated by us. Thank you Deb!!

Would definatly stay again in near future.

Location good for leaving car and using public transport, breakfast choice ample, could of had yogurt or fruit as an extra, plenty of local resturants and eating establishments to choose from.

Could of done with extra easy chair.

A Little Gem

I had just the one night's stay at Ship Stores Guest House but had everything I needed for a comfortable night. The Suffolk breakfast was perfect. I particularly liked the location and I will return when the weather is better to take advantage of the cosy outdoor seating area.

I did have an issue with the cistern but it was dealt with swiftly. Thanks.

Super and a short walk to Clare and it’s amenities

Lovely beautifully clean quiet location . Debra and Colin great hosts wonderful breakfast ! Super little treats help yourself sweeties and fresh milk in the very handy little fridge . Enjoyed every moment , thank you !

Definitely use again if visiting Clare

Central to Clare, although road work was about to start parking was fine . Very quiet beautifully decorated in a small self contained conversion behind the main building. Grade 2 listed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen smelt delightful

Room entrance off pleasant courtyard. Spacious and comfortable room. Fridge with fresh milk and fairly priced supplies. Sufficient free parking. Clean and well maintained. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast. Good location in history rich town. Welcoming staff responsive to queries. Quiet location. Would visit again.

a fab little stay in Suffolk. this bnb ticks all out boxes and we have found our definite place of stay for our Suffolk

amazing property. I loved how it smelt so new from the moment we walked In. I loved how each little annex had its own table and chairs outside, and larger seating area should you want it. I loved the fresh milk in the fridge. UHT are the Bain of my life travelling around so this was a huge plus! the little extras in the mini fridge were great! we didn’t use much but had we arrived without our own supplies they would have been a godsend! the breakfast, wow!! so nice, with branded sauces, a plus for us!

Customer care under sudden change of circumstances could have been better.

No breakfast. Proprietor was ill. I got a txt msg which I noticed as we were going to dine. Only got a £10 reduction for 2. I’d expected £20. Sorry that there was sickness but I felt that the customer care under the circumstances was lacking in this instance, which is why I have rated as I have.

Over priced and paid £85 for our night stay, which considering there was no breakfast offered seemed a bit much.

Very pleasant stay, easy access by car to Bury St Edmunds.

Clean, comfortable room. Owners friendly and helpful, breakfast tasty. Shower powerful and water hot. Able to walk into village. Great Indian restaurant recommendation.

Room was a bit cold overnight (we switched the heater off so would recommend leaving it on low). Bathroom looked a little tired, adequate for our needs.
