HUGE rooms. They were well cared for and had plenty of amenities. The owners were so sweet and knowledgeable. The bed was so cozy and the location was close to everything you could need.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also responded quickly to requests and asked if we needed anything.
Concrete, WA is a very small town with a lot of history. Beautiful area of our state.
The hotel is an old building and needs some maintenance on the stairs and deck.

Le propriétaire de l'hôtel est très accueillant.

I booked a double room as that was the only option on booking.com so was expecting a small bedroom with a standard double bed. Instead we got a studio style apartment which opened into a kitchen area with tv and sofa. The bathroom was separate and then the bedroom which also had a tv was large with a king size bed. Plenty of room for us to hang out and relax together or separately. That was a very pleasant surprise as the rate was so reasonable. This hotel is being managed by a husband and wife team who are a year into a renovation project. This is an early 1900’s building originally built to provide housing to dam construction workers and there is a lot to do. However they are off to an excellent start as you will see from all the little touches they have in the rooms for the comfort of their guests.

Friendly staff. Clean. In the heart of the little Concrete town.

The Mt. Baker Hotel is a bit old-school, but can be recommended without exception.
The owner gave us a very friendly welcome. Our room had a lot of charm with its furnishings, but lacked nothing and was extremely clean. The really well-designed guest brochure provides lots of information about the hotel and the surrounding area.
Unfortunately, there is no breakfast. We had it at "5B's Bakery" just a short distance from the hotel. It is also highly recommended.
We would like to thank you for your hospitality and would very much like to return.

Location to North Cascades. We had a room with some kitchen facilities
Hotel is in the process of being remodeled. It has the basic needs, not anything fancy. Carpet needs a good cleaning, needs replaced.

5 B’s coffee is close by and they had great coffee and cinnamon rolls.
We asked for a ground floor because of my arthritis and got a room on the second floor. We struggled to get the bags upstairs and were afraid the steps would give way. At the top of the stairs, the deck has plywood covering the deck boards. A bit of a tripping hazard.

Extra toilet supplies and separate space for the bedroom and the kitchen.
The bed could have been positioned along side the wall so the window can be closed or open. The sunrise today was gorgeous but we couldn't view it ideally due to the bed hiding most of the window. The bed squeaks a bit when we tossed and turned.

Super spacious, in a cute walkable area, very relaxing and close to all the hikes!
The carpet was a bit stained but it was clean. I think it’s very old carpet. I’m not too worried about it.

Location was great. Room quite comfortable
The owners seem to be doing a great job updating the hotel. The stairs and outside flooring are quite old and we assume will be renovated in the future

Beautiful rooms. Individual themes. Rooms were not the same. Very comfortable.

Rooms were beautiful and clean. More like a small apartment than an hotel room. Felt like home

The staff were extremely nice, they are the new owners who’ve been running it for a couple of months, and the rooms were both nice and clean, and also large. The proximity to hiking in the North Cascades as well as Mt Baker was amazing!
The hotel doesn’t have food service yet, and it can be hard to find food in town, but we managed every day!

Unfortunately the town was having a live rock concert that night in town. It was set up 1 block from us and played until 11:20 PM. Not good but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel which was great in all other aspects.

unexpectedly large accommodation (consisting of sitting room, bedroom, bathroom)
very cosy and quiet
coffee in the room
competent information about the area
luggage racks would be a great addition to the room

Rooms were good.
No decent restaurants around this place. Most were closed.

The room was spacious, and the front staff member Heather was very nice and accommodating.
If you are booking through this website be aware that the site makes you book 2 rooms when you have 4 people. The one room was more than enough when we had a room with a queen bed and a full pullout couch bed. We should have only booked the one room, not the 2 that the site made us book. When we tried to talk to the staff about changing it to one room, they stated that it would not be a problem and I would get a full refund for the second room in a matter of days. Without informing me, they charged me for half of the second room. The gentleman I had to deal with over the phone was very rude, and my conversation with him was very upsetting! Please be aware of this before you book your room at this hotel.

The only thing we liked was having two beds in there, like we usually book when we are traveling.
This place was good once but now it's outdated, carpet is stained, furniture is old and all different styles.
After first night our room wasn't cleaned, towels were not changed, garbage wasn't removed.
Location is not good either, it's appears to be that you can find hotel/inn closer to North Cascades Park.

everything in this hotel was very clean and accommodating. the bathroom was huge!

Too bad no breakfast was offered.
The AC/Heater was a little noisy.

We went for the location - close to North Cascades from SEA airport and then back across the ferry to Olympic NP. Plus restaurants were close by. Floors were insanely clean.
The rug was stained, but as I said everything else was VERY clean. We were in the off season on a Monday and Tuesday. The big steak house across the street was closed on Monday and Tuesday. But we ate at the Hub saloon and it was great.

We were very responsible and respecting in the room, just slept and left very early in the morning (around 6) and we were charged because they said we broke the coffee maker, microwave that we didn’t even touch or used, something about the linens that wasn’t true… so the place is nice but the people who work there not at all.
Also, when we arrived they told us to wait 5 minutes to do the check in and they never came back.

Good size room with sitting area. Bathroom very good and clean
Carpets in room in poor condition which made it feel not very clean. Staff greeting was not very warm and friendly in contrast to other places on our trip

big room with a kitchen and living room, everything you need. great location to visit Cascades NP.
check in: even though we arrived before 7 pm there was no one, a number to call to get a lockbox code.
