Not much to like about this property.
The property is very old and run down. Beds are very uncomfortable as are the pillows. The property had spider webs with dead spiders in the bathroom, leaking shower head. Bathroom was not practical and nowhere to store cosmetics. The property was full of dust and hasn’t had a proper clean. The property states that it has 2 bathrooms but it only has 1. Washer/dryer ruined so many items of clothing. Front door was a struggle to open and close with instruction on which was to turn the key otherwise you will lock yourself out.
Instructions on what one can and can’t do posted everywhere in the property on the wall eg: can’t have heating on more than 10 degrees when going out, no shoes on carpet, tracking of electrical usage via a device in the kitchen. Crockery not available for the whole family, 4 different glasses provided for drinking. No TV, cupboard space in bedrooms full of items so can’t hang items, food left in fridge and items left in bathroom. CD shelf left behind door in a bedroom which is really dangerous. Light switch in kitchen was a struggle to put ons off.
Wasn’t worth the money we paid. We travel often and we’ve never stayed in a place with so many things wrong with it.

Nothing to like.
They cancelled three hours before checkin due to key problems with their cleaning staff this put us in a very bad spot on a train from Paris with two kids having to find a new apartment. Very unprofessional.

The kitchen and bathroom were renovated and clean kai the overall apartment was comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely and the pub accross the street was lively!
Everything felt (and probably was) fragile, due to the age of the building. Even the renovated areas felt like you could easily break or damage them (floors, walls, lighting swiches etc.). The owner/ cleaning stuff left the windows a little open with a towel to the opening, and we didn't notice it until 2 nights after our arrival.

a little bit too far from the centre of the city, but ok

The location was good. The flat could be very nice.
The flat has potential but it hasn't been properly cleaned for ages! There is a lot of accumulated dust on picture rails etc. Also, the carpet is very old and at the foot of the stairs represents a dangerous trip hazard (I fell over on it as it is loose and not secured to the floor - I hurt my back on falling and I seem to now have a slipped disc, according to my GP, which has put me in considerable pain the past week).
We were woken up by someone insistently ringing the door entry buzzer at 7am, saying they had left their keys in the flat!

Cosy and quiet. 30-50 minutes by bus from central London.
The service company is absolutely irresponsible and untrustworthy. Avoid them at all costs.
One of the days they changed the keylock code and locked me out of the apartment. They offered me to book another hotel for that night, promised to pay for it and afterwards backtracked and refused to pay back. As a result, the stay cost me 50% more.

Too much personal belongings.

This place had everything we needed.
