Had a great time. Location was great. House was clean and welcoming. Christina was very communicative. One minor issue was taken care of promptly.
Would recommend renting.

Lovely well furnished cottage for a family of nine located in the woods w/short path to the waterfront equipped with dock, raft, water floatation devices, kayaks and canoe; within walking distant to the village. A few property concerns that didn't really affect the quality of our experience were well received by the owner who was outstanding to work with before, during and after our stay.

My family and I spent a very relaxing week in this beautiful home. The house was roomy and everyone had their own space. Christina was very helpful when I had questions, and was a phone call or text away. The lake is right there, with a dock, raft, and sandy walk in. There were kayaks and a canoe available as well. All of the kids enjoyed being there. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful week at the lake! The house was clean with plenty of linens and towels available throughout the house. There is laundry on site if needed, and a fully equipped kitchen with brand new grill for summer grilling. Our 12 year old children enjoyed paddle boarding around the cove and swimming and diving off the raft. It was a great week and Christina was an attentive and responsive home owner.
Great spot for an extended family gathering!
Thanks!

A beautiful property on a beautiful lake! Our family filled this house to the brim with 9 adults and 4 children (2 small toddlers). The open concept kitchen/dining/family room area is perfect for sharing meals and visiting. There is also ample seating just outside on the deck. Downstairs was perfect for video games, air hockey and other active games. 2 full sized refrigerator/freezers worked out great for our large group. Laundry machines were very clean and modern. We did have a couple of minor issues that were addressed promptly by the owners of the property. For people that are very sensitive to molds, the finished basement has a slight musty smell that my daughter-in-law was sensitive to. The rest of the family found the basement to be comfortable and fun! The owners have dehumidifiers running that help a great deal. Our family had a great time and will cherish the memories made here for years to come!

This property was perfect for our family of 11. We loved the canoe and kayaks, and rented a pontoon boat which we were able to keep moored right in front of the property. We enjoyed having s'mores at the firepit, and we were all truly comfortable for the week. Walkable distance to the adorable town of Bridgton.

We were a family of 9 from Philadelphia - 2 grandparents, 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren from 9-14. We wanted to recapture wonderful summer vacations in Maine from 25 years ago with swimming and fishing in the lake to fresh lobster dinners. The 2-level house, deck, dock and easy entry to walk into the lake gave us spacious indoor and outside room to play, read, sleep, cook and enjoy the beauty of the lake though the trees. We were delighted to find the house was air conditioned and the gas grill was ready when we arrived on a 95degree day. When the weather turned cooler we had a wonderful time roasting Marshmallows around the fire pit. The kitchen and bathrooms were so well-stocked there was nothing we have at home that wasn’t waiting for us there. The home even came with a canoe, kayaks and life jackets. Bridgeton and the surrounding area offered easy shopping for essentials, arts and crafts and lots of opportunities for additional fun. We even went blueberry picking at a local farm and made homemade blueberry pie, cobbler and even jam to give as gifts and take back as great souvenirs. BEST OF ALL WAS THE DETAILED COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION FROM THE GRACIOUS OWNERS ONLINE AND IN THE HOME. M whole family would recommend this home and the area to anyone.

We stayed for a week and it was glorious. The lake was clean and the sandy walk in was ideal for our 1 year old to splash around in. The house was well appointed and very comfortable for our party of 10 (5 adults, 5 kids). Christina was super responsive when we had a small issue with the grill and a small plumbing leak. Would highly recommend!

First of all, Christina was awesome to deal with. We had schedule conflicts to deal with and Christina work it all out for us, she touched base with us on arrival to make sure we were all set. Christina also suggested fun places for the grandchildren, which we utilized.
House was perfect for all of us. We had 3 grandchildren, 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone, inside and out. House has plenty of games, books, videos for late night fun after being on the lake all day. The deck is great for having your meals outside, good size fire pit for at night making s'mores and enjoying a a cold one. All kinds of toys to enjoy the lake with, kayaks, canoes, floats, noodles. Great time just sitting out on the dock enjoying the views or helping the grand kids fish.
Great time had by all!!

Missing our vacation on Highland Lake already! Great house for our multi-generational stay. From the 7 month old to Gramma and Grampy it was a perfect house for our stay. Plenty of room to spread out inside and the lake front property gave us many options…… the fire pit, the dock, shady and sunny areas and plenty of trees for the hammocks. Lake toys were plentiful and Moose Landing Marina was a great place to rent our pontoon. Christina was very helpful before we arrived and once we were there. She is very Covid conscious, putting my concerns to rest. Bridgetown is a cute little town and Maine Lobster Express provided great sea food. Go if you can. Everybody needs a Maine vaca!

The property was exactly as described and Christina was very responsive to all our questions on what was provided at the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful home. The house was very clean and roomy. It was a perfect home for our family and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.
I would also like to thank Christina for making us feel so welcomed. She was always available to us for any questions we had.

Wonderful lakefront vacation!
This house was one of the nicest homes my family has rented, and we have rented a lot of homes in the Bridgton area! Christina, the owner, was so welcoming and accommodating to my family. There were 9 of us total, ranging in age from 8 to 78. The house was a perfect fit for all of us, with plenty of bedrooms and room for all the “stuff” that accompanies that many people!
We got a call from Christina shortly after our arrival, making sure that everything was to our liking, which I very much appreciated. The house was immaculately clean and smelled of bleach (which dissipated soon), telling us that a good disinfecting had been done throughout: something that is so important in these corona virus times! She also left us couple bags of disposable faces masks, wipes and hand sanitizer for all to use. Very thoughtful.
The kitchen was well stocked with any and every thing we might need. Loved the big island- great to sit around and have cocktails and apps (when we weren’t on the deck).
The house has a gorgeous, expansive deck that overlooks the lake and we had most meals out there. The Weber grill looked to be brand new and my husband loved that!
The house is located on the southern end of Highland Lake, which is a gorgeous lake. We spent time jumping and swimming off the dock every day, and made use of the kayaks and canoe provided. We also rented a pontoon boat for the week from Moose Landing Marina in Naples, since the house has a mooring for a boat. It was our first time doing this, and although not cheap, we loved having the boat available to take the kids out tubing and water skiing or just out for a sunset cruise.
Downtown Bridgton is adorable has a lot to offer and the house is within walking distance (only about a 10 minute walk), so we took the kids downtown a couple times for ice cream and to Reny’s.
Overall it was a great week and we hope to be back. I would highly recommend this house to any discerning renter looking for the ideal Maine vacation!

Family fun at Larabee Run
This was a wonderful property for our family of 11 including 5 kids ranging from 10-16. Rooms are spacious with a downstairs area that was perfect for kids to have their space.
A few little glitches at check-in, but the owner quickly responded to our calls and problems were fixed.
Plenty or water toys along with our paddle boats made for a fun week. Nothing like a fire every night to help us forget all the pandemic craziness.

Wonderful Family Vacation!
We had a great week at 29 Larrabees Run! Highland Lake was wonderful, the house was fabulous and the amenities were perfect. We had plenty of everything!
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was plenty of TP, garbage bags, condiments, soap, etc. We loved the kayaks, the canoe, the rafts, the sand toys..........
Christina was a dream to work with! I had a lot of questions leading up to our stay and she answered quickly and never made me feel like I was bothering her. While at her house, we had a small issue which she resolved immediately. Can't say enough about her. She gave us information on where to eat, shop, activities, rent a boat..........all of which were right on!
We had 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 4-19. They loved every minute of the week. Air hockey tournaments were a favorite. 3 of them learned to fish and loved it too! Jumping off the dock was fun and so was snorkeling.
You won't go wrong here. Can't say enough. Go! Rent this house! Your family will love it!

Family lakeside vacation
3 generations enjoyed this wonderful Highland Lake rental. The home is warm, inviting, and spacious with comfy furnishings, well supplied kitchen, beautiful lake view, and plenty of elbow room for all ( 12 ). Great close-to-town location for easy shopping. Downtown Bridgton has so many fun, unique shops....don't miss Reny's ! The trip highlights : early morning dockside watching a loon family, renting a boat for tubing and fishing ( lake has some great spots ! ), swimming across the lake and back, floating in the warm waters, s'mores, ukulele concert, and storytelling by the campfire, kayaking over to Pine Island, and stargazing from the dock.
Christina was so helpful and accommodating throughout the rental process and we thank her for all her efforts to ensure a great family vacation .

What a wonderful week we just spent in Bridgton, Maine! Christina provided all the details that were needed in a welcome packet and the house was immaculate. It was equipped with all the tools we needed to cook most of our meals at the house. We were 9 in total with ages ranging from 5 to 53 and we all had a truly amazing time. Lots of fun activities with biking, swimming, and boating. Oh and I must mention the incredible view of the lake from the living room. Absolutely gorgeous!

Family vacation week celebrating our 40th anniversary
Christina was an excellent host. The property was everything we expected and the listing was very accurate.
When we arrived everything was very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities that we needed
The master bedroom had a king size bed ( very comfortable) and a twin - the bathroom was very large and the huge jetted tub was great to bathe the grandkids. This bedroom also had an A/C that came in handy since it was a hot week
The family area on 1st floor was small for 9 of us but the large lower level family room made up for it ( the kids loved hanging together there and playing air hockey)
also the dehumidifiers created too much noise but kept the lower level dry and very cool
Outside the dock and beach area were very nice and clean.
Highland Lake was definitely beautiful as far as lakes go. Crystal clear, plenty of loons and ducks and not much boat traffic.
We rented a pontoon boat from Moore’s Landing based on Christina’s recommendation. It was a great plus ( note the the mooring was off the dock- didn’t prove to be a big deal it was fun swimming or canoeing to get boat and then pulling up to dock so all could get in)
Christina responded to all our requests very quickly. She was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely return. Thank you again for a wonderful week celebrating our 40th anniversary with family. There’s nothing better!

Great home and great location
This home which is big enough for 10, but could sleep 12 if necessary is wonderfully equipped for fun. With the lake out the back door, outside deck, great kitchen, canoe, kayaks, fire pit, there was plenty for the 4 kids of different ages and six adults to find to do. We played games on rainy days, put the puzzles together and walked to town for ice cream. One night some even went to the drive-in. It was a perfect place for a family gathering!!!!

A Perfect Place; Four Generations of Fun
This is a beautiful, well maintained home situated on pristine Highland Lake. We brought an extended family of ten, four generations ranging in age from 22 months to 97 years! The house more than fit the needs of every one, with comfortable bedrooms and a large living room and dining area. The dock, kayaks, canoe, and floating toys all added to the fun on the water. Thank you for providing the property that resulted in such wonderful memories for our family!

Beautifully located and furnished Maine house with private access to stunning Highland Lake.
After attending a lovely wedding in New Port, R I, the groom's family of 14 Australians retired to the Larrabee's Run lake house for a week of relaxation and family fun etc. The House, Lake with canoes & fire pit, and the village of Bridgton exceeded all our expectations. The house is well setup for large groups with the bedrooms in essentially three separate zones, and the main Living, Dining & Kitchen area easily accommodating all of us at a time. Sitting down on the jetty on the mirror like lake with a freshly brew coffee became an early morning ritual!
Absolutely loved staying at the Lake House and would highly recommend it to anyone.

There's none better !!!
Very spacious, modern, clean home. Can't say enough good things about this home and the owners who were only a phone call away.. There is nothing bad to say about the house. Our entire family and grandchildren , ages 10 mos to 25 years old, were always entertained outdoors using the canoe and kayaks. They used the kayaks to go to Highland Beach, which took 5 min. One grandchild even swam over to the beach. Most nights we all sat around the fire pit .
Anything you would use in your own kitchen is available at Larrabees run.
Thank you so much Christina and JD for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us
This was the nicest home we have spent our summer vacation in and we have rented for many years through homeaway
