This place has the most gorgeous living room with Highland views that stretch in all directions. The host is very welcoming and friendly. The place is in excellent condition. Our children would have been happy just staying in, soaking in the view, reading books, playing with the many board games provided or interacting with the farm animals across the garden.
There was nothing to complain about, more a word of advice.
The setting is gorgeous but being in the middle of the Highlands means you definitely need your own vehicle. That being said, a supermarket and Inverness centre are within a 15 min drive. So not really too remote.

Such a beautiful view, loads of space and friendly donkeys over the fence! How lovely was that!
All very comfortable and clean. Just a little more cutlery would have been helpful, as, unexpectedly, we found ourselves hosting three extra for lunch.

Everything about this property was exceptional including the place, our wonderful host Alison who not only guided us with the directions to the property, suggested us with some good places to eat and explore. It was a lovely experience for as a family at this amazing property.

Owner prepared a bottle of wine, a box of Scotland cookies, eggs and milk.
The non stick cooking utilities are not usable conditions. So I end up boiling the eggs than fry.

Everything, the owners were amazing, location was brilliant, plenty of parking space, no street lights, no noise, no traffic, house was spotless, good size, the kids got to feed the lambs, central location for going places. A great find.

The property was large and spacious, but conveniently located to access the city, the airport and the whiskey trail. it was very comfortable, with great heating and a wood fire.
It was very comfortable, perhaps the decor is a little old fashioned.

The house keys were in the door! We were warmly welcomed by Alison within the first few minutes of our arrival. She provided us with useful information and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was massive and the six of us felt very comfortable in the bedrooms provided. The well equipped kitchen with the large dining table was the heart of the house, although we all spent quality time together in the huge, yet comfortable lounge with the amazing highland views. We also had access to a bigger fridge and freezer in the garage. Washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher (tabs all provided) all of high spec. The smart TV made our teenagers happy and worked beautifully, sometimes needing a little "personal data hotspot". Terrestrial TV was of crisp quality and there was even a Bluetooth speaker allowing us to play our favourite tunes. Later in the week Alison checked (with a little un-intrusive text) that we were happy and offered us a delicious cucumber grown on the farm. A little pampering and the peace of nature was what we had sought and found at Belforte House. Thank you very much Alison & family.
There was nothing we didn't like. It was all just as described and better!

Lovely comfortable, spacious and clean house in a great location. The host, Alison, was very helpful and easy to deal with.
Nothing major, the sloping ceilings in the master bedroom and en-suite limited headroom a little.

Fantastic property in stunning, peaceful location with helpful, friendly owners. Enjoyed the views, watching the wildlife and animals next door. Perfect location for getting away from it all but still close enough to facilities and easy access to regional attractions. Would love to return.
Having to leave.

Beautiful house in a stunning countryside location. The hosts, Allison and Alan are very friendly and welcoming. This house is in the countryside, with a large, very well kept garden - perfect for our children to play in. There are fields next door with a lovely small farm - horse, donkeys, geese, sheep etc. Inside, everything you will need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We hope to return, and were sad to leave! Thank you x

Everything. Alison is an incredible host, and the house is amazing. It has everything you need to spend several days of your holidays. The views from the living room are just incredible, and you are surrounded by a proper farm with sheep and donkeys. Alison showed us and our little kid the sheep and donkeys, making our stay there more than perfect. WE will surely come back as soon as we have the opportunity to visit the Highlands again.
Nothing at all.
