About this house rental
Welcome to Aspenglow Chalet hosted by InvitedHome. Aspenglow is defined as a reddish glow seen near sunset or sunrise on the summits of mountains. There's no place you'll find where this atmospheric experience is more evident than at Aspenglow Chalet in the Gold Flake neighborhood. Don’t believe us? One peek out the soaring floor-to-ceiling windows ought to do the trick. Get an even closer look by hopping in the soothing outdoor hot tub at dawn or dusk right outside. Yes, the views from this hillside retreat boast brilliant sight lines to the mountains from virtually every angle. You’ll likely want to explore each and every one of them during your stay, but first let’s explore all the sophisticated elegance that’s on display all around you in this home.
Starting in the main living space, as this will be where many priceless vacation memories will be made. The sky-high ceilings will undoubtedly be echoing with joyful laughter in no time as your group discovers this comforting space. Get a toasty fire going in the fireplace, grab a seat in an authentic log chair or on the inviting couch, and let the fun begin. Once you’ve laughed up a hearty appetite, continue the conversation over a delicious gourmet meal prepared from the well-equipped kitchen. The dining area can easily seat twelve, with two more at the breakfast bar. Bon appétit!
Once everyone’s properly nourished, head down to the ground floor where you’ll find a modern movie and game room that can easily fulfill all your indoor entertainment needs. Also on the ground floor are two of the five bedrooms. From a queen bed to a custom single to rustic extra long twin bunks beds for the kids or adults, there is no problem accommodating guests of all ages. For the rest of the group's resting needs, you’ll need to wind your way up the elegant staircase to the upper floors. It is here you’ll find not one but two main bedrooms, complete with king beds and convenient ensuite bathrooms, as well as the fifth bedroom featuring two twin beds. Relax in one of the many chairs or the roomy hot tub to unwind and enjoy your well-earned view, or walk just down the street (around 250 yards) to catch the free shuttle over to the ski area or hiking trails. When you stay at Aspenglow Chalet, the mountains won’t be the only thing glowing.

We had a wonderful experience at this Property and waking up to an even better view of the mountains. Very convenient and walkable to Main Street for all the fun you can have.

This is the best listing we’ve ever stayed in. The house is huge, in perfect condition, close to town… and the hosts were friendly and responsive.
Couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks!

Beautiful place. The hot tub had issues when we arrived but the host quickly remedied.

We had a truly fantastic time staying in this house. It is a huge house with more than enough space for our group of 11 (we had several unused beds). Beautiful home with nice finishes, large patio with hot tub overlooking the ski mountain. The management team was super responsive to our texts with questions or requests. We loved it!

This was a really great location, the property manager was outstanding. The family loved the house, the only issue for us was all of the stairs in the house. It was beautiful just a bit difficult for the older members of our family. Overall it was an amazing trip.

Everything was fine. We enjoyed the house and the location. The only negative was the actual total cost per night was way above the published rate (almost double) owing to all the taxes, fees and other charges. This was a bit of a surprise. I think there should be more transparency in published pricing and actual costs.

Stairs, stairs, and more stairs!
House is dated with furniture and fixtures. All furniture and mattresses need to be replaced. Kitchen is updated. New gas grill. Fabulous deck with two tables and chairs. Fireplace did not work and was not fixed for the entire week. It would have been nice on those 48 degree mornings. Lots of towels and supplies provided. Hot tub was excellent and was serviced 3x while we were there. Walk down to town and the grocery store make the house very convenient in the summer. Too many stairs. The flight to upper two bedrooms is dangerous. Treads are too small. One guest fell 4x. Thank goodness she was a young 20. Plenty of hot water. We would stay here again in the summer.

Great House and Location
We loved being here. Saw foxes daily, porcipines, even a black bear crossing the street. The view was great and the trail by the house was handy for getting down to main street. Beware that there are a lot of stairs in the house so everyone needs to be able-bodied! We were very happy with our time there.

This was a beautiful house with plenty of room for our large party. It’s conveniently located close to town. We loved it.

User Beware
VRBO made moving and or cancelling dates impossible due to COVID issues. The homeowner was remodeling the property and cancelled on us LAST MINUTE and we had to scramble to find another property. Awful management, awful communication, awful refund process. Extremely disappointed. Stay away.

Guys Weekend
Property was well maintained and met our needs perfectly. It was as advertised and perfect for large groups. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we need to cook some meals at the house. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and a good starter kit of soaps and shampoos. The back deck with hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes. Game room with projector provided a fun area to congregate in the evening. The location is close enough to town to walk ~ 10-15 minutes but we found adjacent walking trail to be a bit too steep and slick in the winter. However the shuttle stop at the end of the street was accessible and ran every 30 minutes. It was also easy to get an Uber/Lyft. Would recommend and consider revisiting in the future.

Rocky Mountain Relaxation
My wife and I and our kids (there were 10 of us total) add in incredible vacation in the beautiful town of Breckenridge. The house was spectacular and had plenty of room for a family our size. It’s convenient location to town made the trip all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this particular house for any large family gathering.

A family reunion to remember!
Our family of 13, ages ranging from 3 to 72, had a wonderful time at Aspenglow Chalet. The open floor plan allowed us to be together without being cramped and big enough to give us the space we needed when we felt the need to have time alone. The kitchen was stocked with so many things a person would love to have in their own kitchen. Many board games were available. The hot tub, pool table, and foosball game were huge hits! For our group, the 12 person kitchen table was fabulous! Another great feature is that it is located only a few blocks from Main Street. We needed to reach out to the property manager a few times and each time our concerns were were met with kindness and expediency. We were very impressed. I would recommend Aspenglow Chalet to anyone interested in a lovely home with the most incredible view of the mountains in Breckenridge and a beautiful deck to sit and enjoy them.

Great Home For A Family Gathering
We did it all...rafting horseback riding hiking biking and shopping. This beautiful home turned out to be the perfect launching point for each adventure. Clean and well equipped as advertised. We recommend highly.

Thank you!
This home was a great place for our large family. We had a variety of age groups (5-69 years of age). Lots to do within the home for all. 'The steps were a little much some times, but we all managed. Beautiful view of the mountains from the living area and deck. Thank you very much for opening your home to us. We already know what the town of Breckenridge has to offer as some of us have been coming for 50 some years. This location is so convenient to walk downtown if so desired. Lots of activities for the younger people in our family which they all loved.

Great place to stay for large group
This home perfectly fit our large party of 10 adults and 3 children. The house was very clean with enough fresh towels and linens for our week stay. The location is great for taking the walking path right into town. The one negative is the carpeted flight of stairs to the top level. The treads are not deep enough per stair standards and one of our older guests fell down the stairs in the first hour of our visit. They are very steep and slippery. Overall, we had a great stay at Aspenglow.

Nice home, poor support and amenities.
The house, location and views were great. Inside the home multiple blinds were down, most importantly in the master bedroom, so we had full sun at 5:45am every morning. We brought DVDs for the grand kids and there was not a DVD player. The coffee pot leaked. The Hot Tub was Green and nasty. For an expensive home, the stuff inside was truly disappointing.

Great value and service
We enjoyed our stay at the home. It’s fully equipped with everything a large group would need. The management company was responsive and promptly addressed a few things that needed attention (shower, fireplace, stereo). Lots of games and sleds for the kids. Kitchen is great and the views are spectacular. Too far away to walk to the mountain, but it’s a 10min drive to nearby public parking lot. Recommended for large groups and families. Thank you!

Fantastic House
Great place to stay in Breck. Quick 5 min walk to downtown. Easy ride to the lifts, awesome house with all the amenities. I’ll certainly try to stay here next time I’m in Colorado.

Everything we wanted in a rental
The home is homey, and yet one feels like they are in a cabin in the mountains. It is well equipped with games and the game room, with pool table and fooz ball, was a great distraction for the young adults in the group. I loved that one could cook and yet be a part of the group because of the open space plan. First time we have ever had a table that seats every member of our group comfortably. We were all extremely comfortable in this home. A plus, in winter, in the heated driveway. We were the only one on the block that didn't have to move our cars from the driveway after a snow. We did have an issue with broken blender, broken humidifiers, a television that we couldn't get to work, and not enough cookware for such a large crowd. The property manager was amazing--sent over a repairman immediately who fixed the settings on the TV, brought a huge set of cookware, new blender, new humidifiers, new knives, knife sharpener, etc. This was extremely impressive because we didn't ask for it, just made a suggestion that they might fix these things for subsequent renters. They were the best; very responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this rental property.

Breathtaking views and great location
We enjoyed our time at Aspen Glow. The views are amazing, however the stairs are everywhere throughout the home. Stairway to the top floor is particularly steep and two of our guests took a tumble (sober). I would recommend highly, but stairways are only reason for only 4 stars

Aspenglow Chalet provided the perfect home away from home for our family!!
Aspenglow Chalet was perfect for our family. The many different levels gives everyone their own private living quarters and the living areas were so perfect for gathering to watch movies, play games and eat meals. The property managers were easy to contact and promptly answered any questions and attention to our needs. We will definitely stay at Aspenglow Chalet again!!!

Great ski vacation
We had a group of 10 adults, and we had plenty of space. Some in the group cooked for most meals and found the kitchen well equipped. The walk to the shuttle into town is easy as long as you aren’t carrying equipment. There is a path into town right next to the property down a hill, but it could be challenging for some guests to use. Hot tub accommodated several people. Beds were comfortable.

Beautiful Setting
Spent a lovely Thanksgiving in this house. Pretty views of the mountains and town lights. Great location!
Plenty of room for 8. Nice big fire place to play games around. The house is very clean but needs some updating. Livingroom couch and pillows need to be replaced, comfy but you can't get out, too squishy! Also, kitchen supplies are in need of improvement also. Broken toaster handle, pots and pans could be upgraded. There should be a warning for renters, there are tons of stairs in this house!!!! Stairs from living room to entry and then more stairs from other side of the livingroom to kitchen.. Large stair case to second floor master and more to third floor bedrooms. Another long but thankfully carpeted stairway to basement game room and bedrooms. Tough for people with any issues and no socks on most stairs is advised! We had a couple of near misses with slipping. Would give 5 stars if some improvements were made.

Gorgeous home!! Wonderful location!!
We recently stayed in this home with our whole family and another family for a whole week. We enjoyed everything!! The home is truly gorgeous and incredibly spacious. The view from the hot tub was truly amazing!! We had everything we needed and couldn’t have asked for better or more helpful service from the booking agency!! We were so close to Main Street and just a few blocks from the bus stop to take us to skiing. We would absolutely recommend this home and hope to come back again next year!!

Cozy Home! Close To Downtown!
This home was extremely cozy and within walking distance to downtown Breckenridge. We walked everyday for whatever we needed. There were a lot of stairs, but it wasn't a big inconvenience or anything. The process to get into the home was easy and everything was manageable. All information was posted in case we needed it, but honestly, everything in the home was so convenient. The kids spent their time in the game room to pass the time while the adults had plenty of space in the middle living area and the balcony. And WHAT A VIEW! This is THE place to go to if you want a beautiful view facing downtown and the mountains. Thank you so much for making this feel like home away from home.
