The cabin was very clean and everything was labeled. Great communication with host and we were impressed by attention to detail inside and outside the cabin. The free eggs from the hens was amazing every morning. LOVE it

We had a great time at this property. It is located close enough to things, yet far enough away to feel secluded if that’s what you’re looking for. Cabin and property were very clean and accommodating. Definite 5 stars.

Easy communication with host, beautiful 10 acres, while not super close to key spots, reasonable distance and gorgeous drive. Basics in cabin were all covered.

We had a perfect stay in the very quiet and clean cabin. Our hosts were excellent before and during our stay. And it is true, you truly don't even know they are staying in the house on the property. We will be coming back to stay and highly recommend. This cabin is so quiet and peaceful, perfect to come back to after a busy day exploring. And Thank You for the eggs :)

Enjoyed some great get away time. My buddy and I just wanted some time away from the wives and kids and work. Great scenery! Thanks for the great place to stay.

We enjoyed our week at the cabin! It’s perfectly situated for a number of day trips, about 30-45 minutes from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Sturgis, Custer State Park. Fully stocked with all the amenities needed to be comfortable, from kitchen to bath to bedroom, we felt right at home. We would definitely stay again!!

My son and I loved the cabin, it was perfect for our father/son trip to the hills. Very clean and quiet. You don't need to bring much staying here, all the essentials to a home are already there! The owners have clearly thought of absolutely everything. It's a good 45 minutes from most attractions but the drive there is beautiful!
Great stargazing, comfy bed, cozy fireplace, ATV trails 1 mile down the road.. too much to list..
Turn key stay, and a great place to kick off your shoes after a busy day in the hills.
Will stay again!

This cabin is awesome. It's out of town, way out of town, and quiet. This is just the getaway I needed. Oh, and the Pine trees smell great too. Every day we went somewhere and came back exhausted. This is the home you want to come home too. I think we covered the bigee's in attractions. Mt Rushmore of course, but the Crazy Horse Memorial was very thought provoking too. We also hiked, went agate hunting, went to the Badlands. I could have stayed longer and explored and hiked around Spearfish, but no time. We'll stop by and see Devils Tower on our way and then back to home. This cabin gets my highest rating.

We stayed here for a weekend bachelor party and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was nice and centrally located for travel to Rushmore, Deadwood and our other activities, but without the traffic and hassle. Great accommodations, and very comfortable with beautiful scenery.

Great Cabin in Rapid City, SD
Jessica & Shane were awesome hosts! So friendly! The cabin was well stocked with kitchen, bathroom and laundry items, plenty of extra blankets and pillows and super clean! It was homey, comfy and cozy!! The view was beautiful and the property had a nice, mowed path to walk around. Outdoor gas grill was great to use! Definitely a cabin that we’d go back to. The location was perfect for sxs trail riding. Great Cabin and great hosts!!

Perfect little cabin!!!
We loved staying at this cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cabin was clean and It offered plenty of room for our family of five. My only regret would be not having the right weather or time to explore the property during my stay. There is so much to see and do in the area!

Spring Turkey hunting trip
Great place to stay, very clean! The owners were very easy to deal with. We ended up leaving early because of a lack of turkeys this year and they actually refunded us some money, which was very nice of them. I'd highly recommend staying here again. If you are looking for a nice place out of town, this is for you.

A pleasant stay
We stayed here for a couple nights at the end of our camping vacation. We didn’t have time to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked, but what a beautiful area to stay in! The cabin was very clean and quiet. We used GPS to find it, but we would have found the place much easier had we read their directions. The GPS could lead you to a forest road (not passable with a car). Would recommend to anybody. If we had any complaint, the wifi could be better. That’s literally it!

Quiet, clean, secluded, and great location
Our family of 4 chose to spend a socially distanced Thanksgiving 2020 here. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It's very centrally located in the Black Hills to key attractions and Rapid City, yet is very secluded and quiet. The cabin was absolutely spotless, and Jessica and Shane had thought of everything...well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture, etc. Additionally, with our 5 year old and 1 year old, and visiting during the winter...we spent a lot of time here and the giant open living space/kitchen was awesome. Our 5 year old loved the closetful of pillows and basket of throws :-)
I would absolutely stay here again, and this would be a comfortable space for a larger group as well.

Amazing Cabin & location in the Black Hills!!!
Cute little cabin in the Black Hills. First time using VRBO and to South Dakota! Great location and owners! We even got to pick some eggs from their chicken coop. Can't wait to go back!

Understated
This property is even better than the description! Jessica and her husband are wonderful people. The eggs are delicious and the sunrises are awesome. Just make sure if you go and there is snow, have a 4 wheel drive or an all wheel drive vehicle handy ☺. Thanks again Jessica for the stay, the eggs, the cookies and getting the car unstuck!

Awesome Experience
This cabin is surrounded by trees and lots of property so we had a sense of privacy and serenity . We were centrally located and it was easy to get to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Our hosts were available and friendly. This was the perfect spot for our active group to enjoy after riding bikes, hiking and touring a hold mine and a winery!

Super clean clean cabin
We stayed here for the last part of our Black Hills trip where we could be closer to Rapid City, keystone and Deadwood! It was a beautiful property and super clean cabin that was more than spacious for our family of 4! Our kids loved the chickens and ducks! We enjoyed a few meals outside listening to the birds! We were out and about quite a bit and didn’t get to enjoy the cabin as much as we could have but it was wonderful to come “home“, cook a hot meal and enjoy putting our feet up to relax for the night!!
