This is the 6th time we’ve stayed at this home. The back porch has the best view you can hope for. The home is small and cozy but just what we need as most of our time is on the porch or enjoying NC. Owners are responsive and our dogs feel right at home. Until we live in Waynesville full time, we’ll continue to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house location was perfect, space was great for our family and we loved sitting on the back porch watching the sunset. We definitely look forward to staying at this home again in the future.

For those that skim the reviews, I'll list our negative impressions first...there were also positives. The first thing that hit us were the cameras on both front and back porches that aren't mentioned in the VRBO description. No biggie, I understand security cameras on a vacation property. However, these cameras are aimed to have a full view of both porches. IOW, if one simply wants to sit and enjoy the mountain views, so much as checking your watch or simply rocking in a rocking chair will trigger the motion sensor. My fiance refused to sit out there for this reason since these cameras also record sound (I have the same model on my house). On the second day of our stay, we were awoken from a nap in the early afternoon by loud voices. Discovered a couple standing right next to the front porch. Naturally, I approached to ask what was going on and the male said "I'm the owner" offering no other proof, not even a name. They then proceeded to continue wandering around the yard for a bit before going back to the firepit area and sitting on their tailgates drinking beer before finally leaving. Our first thought was would they have let themselves into the house had our car not been there since they didn't notify us of their presence before doing whatever they were doing. I've been doing vacation rentals since before VRBO existed...first time ever for this sort of thing. Otherwise, the property is conveniently located with a nice mountain view and well equipped. :-)

Truly the most incredible views from the back deck no matter what time of day. Spring was in full bloom, a most beautiful time!! The home is a very short drive to town and we dined out most evenings, great restaurants to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

We came up to visit my son at school over the Easter holiday. The house was very cute and well-appointed less than a mile from downtown Waynesville. Our favorite thing was chilling on the porch and gazing at the Blue Ridge Mtns. We will definitely be back!

We were in town for a wedding, and wanted a space to stay with my parents and kids. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was clean, and there was even a bonus space where the kids could hang out and play games while the adults were downstairs. The hot tub was an added bonus and the view was GORGEOUS. Will definitely be back!

Bedrooms are large. Living areas are compact. Would be a tight squeeze for 8. Location very convenient to downtown. Kitchen equipment could be improved. Cutely decorated. Heavy use of febreze on bed linens.

This is a great house where you walk in and feel that the owners really want their renters to enjoy their stay. We rented during the autumn season. The porch had mums and the cutest little fall pillows on the chairs. The property is beautiful with wild flowers planted along the hill that were still in bloom. The house had a nice, clean smell upon entering and we saw so many more touches of fall inside. Anything from fall towels to fall throw pillows to fall arrangements and placemats. The house is adorable. The beds were comfortable. The view from the back porch is awesome especially at sunset. We cooked all meals at the house. Only a slight suggestion to the kitchen is the addition of a cutting board and maybe a butcher block of knives. Other than that, we had everything we needed to prepare meals. We took advantage of the hot tub and the beautiful claw foot bathtub with gorgeous views of the mountain. We did not really use the primary bathroom shower. This is just a note to the owners and not necessarily a complaint. I would get in touch with the cleaning company as they are not cleaning your grout in that shower. It really needed a good cleaning and was showing that pinky type of mold that can grow when it hasn't been cleaned. Other than that, the house was clean, comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our time there. I appreciate the touches the owner made to make renters feel at home. I would definitely stay there again. We had a great fall vacation!

2nd time here. Just as listed, especially enjoy mornings and evenings on the front deck overlooking the valley and mountains beyond. One small issue...need to replace toaster oven with a real toaster, results from the toaster oven varied.

Our family of 5 adults stayed here during a family reunion in Waynesville and we loved it. The house is just as the photos depict it. We were in touch with the host and he was responsive and easy to work with. The view from the back porch is gorgeous.

This is the second time we rented this property and everything was just as amazing as the first time. The house is beautiful and the location is so close to Main Street. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Waynesville!

Owners were very responsive! Hot tub had an unexpected issue and they had some someone come out immediately to fix. Plenty of firewood for outside use. Highly recommend.

This property is beautiful with great views. The owners have provided lots of special touches, including everything needed to wake up and have coffee without having to go out the first night. We stayed for Christmas and there were several lovely Christmas decorations. Would highly recommend!

What a well thought out- and beautifully updated - rental. The beds were comfy. It was close to downtown Waynesville and a wedding we attended in Canton NC. Would highly recommend!

Close to everything in DT Waynesville. Magnificent Views on the back porch. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the Hot Tub as it was clean and hot. Quickly noticed the property owners wanted us to enjoy our stay! Will be back.

We have stayed multiple times at this property. The view from the back porch is unsurpassed. House is simple, clean, and comfortable. We walk to downtown almost every day and enjoy local beers and shopping. This time we hit peak leaves changing season. Absolutely beautiful! We’ll be back.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Waynesville where we were married 10 years ago. Waynesville has become a destination we have enjoyed throughout our time together. Instead of staying at a B&B, we decided to stay in a home for a few days. We choose this house because it was updated (not really into the cabin vibe), close to downtown, and had a great view without being on some remote difficult to find road. Even though other houses are around it, the area very was quiet. We were able to unwind for several days without the kiddos. This house won’t let you down if you’re coming to Waynesville.

Newer construction with a smart layout for a big family. Nice QUIET area. Covered porches front and rear should provide extra space in poor weather. The hot tub is kinda exposed but kids would love it. You need to be careful as the driveway is steep, not good for a sports car without some forethought.

Everything at this rental was excellent! We were 2 couples sharing this home. Plenty of room. Bathrooms were spacious. Storage closets were an added bonus so we could store our empty suitcases and coolers etc. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans etc. The back porch view was our hangout in the evenings watching the sun go down behind the mountains. Pictures on the VRBO site are accurate. We highly recommend this rental. Next time in Waynesville we will book here. The owners are friendly, helpful and genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay.
