Very comfortable and understated. All the amenities work and the location is unbeatable.

Amazing gem of a compound right on the beach. Amazing staff were ready to welcome you at every turn without being intrusive. They go out of their way to accommodate you and know the true meaning of hospitality! I’ve already told several friends and family about this place and can’t wait to return. Big thanks to Bri, Abraham, Gregory, Monica, and Angel!

Need to clarify no Diving Lodge is changing the name

No breakfast

I booked it because I thought it was a diverse lodge there was no diving from the Lodge so I had to make other arrangements that took two days from my dive vacation

fantastic little hotel, on the beach on the quiet north end of Puerto Morelos. quiet, simple and sweet. great people and fun bar on the beach! we will be back!

Fantastic beach bar. The lounge chairs are free if you're staying at the lodge, and about a 1 minute walk from the room. Massage is available at the lodge and the massages were excellent. The lodge is very close to downtown restaurants, about a 10 minute walk. We were met when we arrived to make sure we knew how to access the room. It was very easy. The host checked in with us multiple times to make sure our stay was going well. The room was spacious and had everything we needed - smart TV, coffee/tea, fridge, toiletries. The beds were SUPER comfy. The room wasn't fancy, it was functional, very clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. I will definitely stay here again!

The Diving Lodge Downtown was a great choice my last minute trip. I booked it and walked in my room a little over 24 hours later. I stayed in Cabina 4 which had a kitchenette which was great. I came alone and didn’t end up actually cooking but did cut up fruit, have yogurts available, there was a pitcher I popped in the fridge for cold water. There was also a 5 gallon water fountain which I was very happy to have. Bed was super comfy, pillows are great (my pet peeve is super thin hotel pillows) and the room was very clean. Everyone at the hotel was great. From the initial messages, to the check in info and suggestions from Briana, and everyone at the at the beach club. The drinks are great and the playlists are fantastic. The bar the beach club seems to be like the local meeting spot for everyone. I don’t dive but was told that the dive master is also great there.

It was very noise, they were cutting wood with electrical saw just besides our rooms.

Relaxing and carefree stay in a beautiful spot.

Exceptional location with really easy going and thoughtful staff. large accommodation meters away from the beach. Safe neighborhood close to restaurants and bars. Snacks and beverages at the beach bar were really good.

The diving lodge was the perfect beach vacation!

The hosts communicated very clearly and were quick to respond via email when planning arrival! Abraham greeted us and our room was ready even though we arrived early! Everyone there was kind and hospitable. The food, drinks, bartenders were all fantastic and the location is perfect. If you’re looking for a chill beach bar vibe, this is it. The room was also nice and comfortable. It had that authentic, rustic feel but came with AC, mini fridge and everything we needed.

It was all good! Just with the bar/restaurant was open a little later (closes at 6)

Beautiful beach front apartment - we couldn't be happier!

We were looking for a beach-front self-catering accommodations for a week, and we were thrilled with The Diving Lodge Downtown. The apartment was really large, the kitchen was well equipped, and the location was FABULOUS. It was nice and quiet, the wifi was strong, and the bed was comfortable. There was free parking on site and we loved the beach chairs just steps from our front door!

We were told they would clean every other day, but somehow they missed a couple of days. No big deal, we probably could have asked.

Quiet place to be :)

The lodge is located on a quiet place in Puerto Morelos, which was exactly what we were looking for, so different from the craziness of Tulum, Playa del Carmen or Cancun. Our "cabana" was really nice and quiet, and we could enjoy the sunrise every morning, beoing nearlly alone on the beach. We loved the atmosphere.
