A jewel! Peaceful, comfortable, with own beach.
Breakfast included, great staff, great service. Comfortable beds. Your own 20 litres water in the room.
Work while listening to the waves, birds twitting and feeling the ocean breeze.
One of our favourite hotels!
We will always come back

The staff were amazing! Everyone who worked there from the front desk to the cleaning people were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved making our own omelettes and then eating them overlooking the ocean.
The bike chains are rusty and stretched which mean that the chain can easily be "thrown" (come off). Given you brake via back-pedalling with these bikes, this could be dangerous! But it's really nice to have these free bikes for getting around.

It’s in a quiet place on the beach just outside town. Lovely staff and the chance to make your own breakfast and food. Also the “hanging bed” was very relaxing.
The beach isn’t the best for swimming.

Room was wonderful and spacious. Nice to have hammocks. Beautiful space to relax. Breakfast was pleasant eating out facing the water. Good coffee and delicious fruit. Peaceful and quiet.
Need to travel to another beach in town in order to go swimming. About a 15 minute walk to the town so it helps if you have a car or you need to use taxis, given how hot it gets during the day.

The location was probably the highlight for us as we loved being on the beach. The staff were excellent and really helpful with any queries we had. We also really enjoyed the breakfast provided.
The swinging/suspended bed might not be for everyone but I believe you can ask for the bed to be grounded.

Amazing quiet place outside the tourist area. Great place if you want to switch off. Really good breakfast and shared kitchen as a bonus :)
All good

Breakfast was healthy and it was easy to use the kitchen
It would have been nice to have umbrellas or some form of shade out by the lawn chairs.
And some more comfy cushions.

Great atmosphere and very nice staff. not so long to the city and really close to the beach. Free of charge rent a bike. Tasety breakfast prepared every day morning. I can highly reccomend this hotel

The breakfast was great. Lots to choose from . The area was lovely and quiet and relaxing . The hammocks on the balcony were brilliant . We had bottled water in our room throughout the stay which was great.
There was a industrial type jetty in the bay just left of the property which was ugly . I didn’t expect this , it wasn’t in lovely photos on the website .
There was a lot of sargassum seaweed all over the beach which did spoil things as we couldn’t swim
To be fair this wasn’t the hotels fault - it was all over the coast line . But the authorities were no making any attempts to clear it.
It was expensive to get to the property from the airport , no other choice than to use a taxi ,

This was a quiet and comfortable location. There were interesting folks there for great conversations.
The seaweed was not great, but nothing facility could do.

super low key, slow speed and coast.

Room 10 bed was uncomfortable. Swinging was ok but mattress was old and lumpy.

Very good

Very quiet, loved having use of bicycles, great variety of food for breakfast, close to town.
The beach. Was disappointed that I could not walk very far in either direction because of seaweed and garbage

location was good and the breakfast lovely! bikes to use (when available) also a nice touch. use of the kitchen also a bonus.
bedside lamps would be nice !

Daily breakfast. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. use of bicycles.
Beach area was very rocky and water clarity was poor.

Fine fruits and continental. The staff were all so kind.

it was beautiful but the ocean was not possible to swim in

great location, amazing staff
the internet wasn’t 100% in the rooms, but good in the common area

Very relaxed and beach hideaway feel. Very quiet and laidback. Comfortable beds, hot showers and good aircon.
while it’s on the beach it’s not possible to swim there, lots of weeds and rocks. You can’t walk all the way to Puerto Morales because of the government port.

This is a lovely little hotel...loved the room and view from the second floor....this was a quiet & pretty place which was a nice change from the tourist strip...also its close to the airport and a great place to start or stop your trip. But what I liked ultimately was the relaxed energy that is rare to find between cancun and tulum
I loved the place but food can be an issue...they do a lovely breakfast here, but after that you're on your own...if you have a car, no problem....if not there is one restaurant next door that is good, though a little expense....if you bring in your own food they have a full kitchen to cook it in.

Excellent, caring staff and nice location make this spot worth visiting.
There is nothing anyone could do to fix this, but the beach is not good for swimming. Lots of rocks and murky water from the port nearby. However there is good swimming at the public access beach in town

It was easy to find the hotel. the parking was great. My room was as expected, I booked a large room so I had plenty of space. the communal kitchen was easy. I love that i could make my own eggs. I love their recycling program. they separate everything and have a compost, although I think it defeats the purpose when the hotels front beach is filled with plastic pollution. if Puerto Morelos is the start of the 2nd largest Great barrier Reef. than one would think that you would also clean your beaches, not just your hotel. I did love the amount of silence in the area. Unfortunate for me, Hurricane Lisa decided to hit Belize affecting the entire coast of PM and ruined my stay.
I wished they would have told me that they do housekeeping when I checked in. I was surprised when I did get it, and someone was inside my room cleaning it. I don't like it. and when I mentioned it. she told me that, this was mentioned in the reservation, and so that is why they don't mention it. everything is handled through email. okay! so i failed to see it. but her answer is not great customer service. the correct reply. should be- you're right. I apologize. I should have mention it. simple as that. I also wish they would take responsibility to clean up the beach. the seaweed I don't mind. but there was so much trash. At one point I picked up a broken chair from the shores of the water. it really is out of hand. If the restaurant next to them can rake their side of the beach, then why can't you guys do it. Also, the wifi was slow. and it look like they had some construction going on. as there were areas blocked. The staff was friendly but did not go out of their way. except for one of the girls. I did not catch her name. she was really friendly and outgoing.

Friendly personel, really calm place without any noise. Perfect to slow down. Hangmat, floating bed. Nice view
Floating bed can be tricky. I personally did not like the sea. The beach was with rocks.
4.5
The self-served breakfast was great but I would appreciate some sort of meat or ham. The facilities were really nice but you could tell it is a bit “tired” and would need a bit of care and renovation (mainly the mosquito nets) and doors/windows. Other than that lovely stay!
The beach was super close but full of sea weed but it is not failure of the facility. Just a note on the beach.

I love the place because it is in nature and not a lot of city noise.
4.5
It is a nice small hotel, very quiet. We really liked our stay there.
The location is great, 30 min drive from Cancun. Puerto Morelos, a small town nearby, is very nice to walk around in the evening. It has a nice artesian market, many restraurants, nice promenade along the sea.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable.
We would like to come back to this place.
Highly recommended for a quiet stay

Lovely, quiet little place with beautiful gardens right on the beach, huge rooms with loads of character, lovely staff and very clean.
Location isn't awesome if you don't have a car, because it's about a 25 minute walk into town along roads with no footpath through a pretty industrial area. Not much close by so you really need to get into town to see anything, get food, etc.

kitchen, quiet location, hammocks

Location was absolutely fabulous.
Breakfast was great wish there was avocados and cheese available.
