Breakfast was great. Great hospitality, recommendations. Perks like an umbrella to takeaway
Rules are stiff (breakfast at 8:30am), it's alright (and described when booking) but please read descriptions before and be aware.
Location is 20 mins out of town

We loved everything!!! This property is a very unique and special spot. Dan and Winn are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts, and the breakfasts are amazing - we didn't have room for lunch in the seven days we were there. The rooftop is a great place for a morning coffee or end of day margarita. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and super comfortable. Pups, Helen and Olly, and cat Taco are so sweet - we miss them! The location is perfectly described in the listing - it is in a local community a few minutes drive to the Malecon, not in the middle of the action but close enough, and there are some very good restaurants nearby. We were fortunate to find this wonderful property and hope to return soon!

The hosts have taken great care in making the courtyard and rooms unique. beautiful and a relaxing space, We enjoyed the hot tub as the evening cooled off. The breakfasts served each morning were wonderful!! Dan and Winn also shared places of interest to visit and found a sports bar where we could watch the Chiefs play- off game. It was a delightful stay at Casa Xochitl!

Estancia maravillosa.
Gracias, Winn, Dan y Helen <3

Cannot recommend this place enough - one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever stayed! Such welcoming hosts with so many lovely little touches. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer, a few days wasn't enough!

Truly a unique and beautiful property. After being on dusty roads, it feels like walking into an oasis of cleanliness and calm. Friendly hosts and the breakfast they prepared was amazing and filling. Many options were available, including eggs, fresh fruit and an awesome fresh juice.

Staying at Xochitl was one of the top highlights of my one month trip to La Paz, Baja del Sur. Their saying, "Estas en tu casa" summed up my stay. Winn and Dan felt like family over the time they graciously shared their Centenario oasis. My stay was longer than most because I knew as a 76 year old country gal, the first half of my stay near the Malecon would wear me out. Xochitl provided exactly what I had hoped for. Great breakfasts, interesting location at the edge of Centenario village, opportunity to ride the bus with locals, sampling of some excellent food at nearby restaurants, long, long beachwalks where I got to see how Mexican families enjoy Sundays at the beach. Mornings waking to thousands of bird songs, dogs barking, roosters crowing near and far, the rooftop patio view as the sun rose, two good cups of coffee, their dogs and cat greeting me everyday truly made this stay feel like home. Winn and Dan were the kind of hosts one wants when vacationing. Helpful, kind, attentive yet leave you in peace to spend the day in the hammock or whatever. Winn and Dan hold a fond place in my memory!
Would not change a thing!

The Delicious and abundant breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows, convenient and quiet location close to La Paz and the beaches, the Mexican style property, the dogs, very friendly and helpful hosts.
We were spoiled with breakfast, so the only down side is very poor breakfast on Sunday, but fair enough for the hosts, who needs to rest!

beautiful place in the outskirts of LaPaz. Ideal place for people willing to detach from the noise of the city, but still stay in close distance to the city. Excellent breakfast, great facilities for longer stay. Well equipped kitchen under gazebo to cook and eat some meals. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy surroundings. Nice artistic vibe.
Not that it was a problem, but as others mentioned internet connection is quite spotty.

We loved it here. We even came back here when it was time to get our flight out of La Paz. The breakfast is amazing, the property looks beautiful and well maintained, lovely plants everywhere, a lot of hummingbirds, nice seats and chill areas everywhere, nice pool, and very budget friendly! I could go on and on... And their dogs are so cute. Playing catch with Helen was fun!
We loved everything! But if I have to name one thing... Maybe it would be nice to have some closet space in the room.

It is the most beautiful place in La Paz. The perfect place to relax and disconnect from everything! Dan & Winn are really nice and caring. Definitely a place to come back and recommend!!

Quiet, secluded, clean, comfortable. Many good recommended restaurants within walking (safe at night) distance
1 km of dusty sandy road to reach property, poor internet

The location was just on the outskirts of town, in a rural, quiet location. The property was decorated beautifully, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was great, the common courtyard was amazing, the rooftop deck was cool, and the owners were super helpful and welcoming. Finally, they provided an excellent, healthy breakfast.
Nothing, everything was good

The house is a real oasis. It is very clean, the privacy of each room is preserved and the calm is very appreciable. The guests are present and attentive but very discreet. The breakfast is very varied, freshly prepared every morning and delicious. We felt at home.

The breakfast was more than amazing! We were lucky to also meet other great guests and enjoyed great food and conversations during breakfast! The little town Casa Xochitl is located in is very quaint, peaceful and quiet, but it is also at close proximity to the malecon in La Paz and all the other attractions there.
Casa Xochitl itself was a beautiful, relaxing place, where my husband and I found ourselves spending quite a bit of time to unwind and rest. Early morning we would take our fresh brewed coffee to the rooftop to watch the morning sun and listen to all the singing birds in the neighborhood, and late evening we'd pick up dinner and make our way to the rooftop to watch the sunset. We'd also take our speaker to the rooftop and dance salsa while enjoying the cooling night breeze after a hot day.
Early afternoon, after coming back from one of the many beautiful beaches in La Paz, we'd relax in the lounge pool at Casa Xochitl, which also felt like a treat and a way to wind down after being out all day. The whole house was like an oasis.
Dan and Winn were/are super kind and gracious hosts, and it was such a pleasure meeting them and having the opportunity to stay in their home, which is so welcoming and filled with loving energy.

Dan will have coffee ready when we woke up every morning, and Winn would fix an variety of breakfast items mostly organic and predominantly vegetarians, very tasty and a coffee with such rich aroma; the grounds are rustic and less pretentious, with lazy cats and dogs curled up below the rich blossoming buganvillas, this place is very quiet all day long and you are free to roam the village in Dans bikes and also he would lend you snorkeling equipment you can use in the not so far beaches of “El Centenario”
Xochitl is the serene place you deserve in your next vacation, so conveniently located near the La Paz International and the town of La Paz, come down and stay at Xochitl.

We loved the breakfast. Excellent cook and very gourmet type of dishes. Not just continental breakfast. Fresh fruit every day. And organic juices.
Can't really find something I didn't like. We loved our stay. We planning to go again with our daughters.
