About this apartment rental

The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Siena, it has been renovated while maintaining the typical Tuscan characteristics. It is located on the ground floor with access from an internal courtyard which opens onto one of the main streets of the city. The house, with independent entrance and heating, consists of a large living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and a closet. From the windows of the living room and bedroom you can enjoy a wide view of the historic Piazza del Campo. The apartment is in the pedestrian area and these are the information to park the car:

Spacious, clean & lovely place near the “main square” in Siena. If you look out the windows and just turn your head, you can see a lot of it from the place! It was so close to everything that you want in town. The host was also very helpful. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available in your search, book it! We would definitely stay here again!

We LOVED our apartment in Siena. The location is perfect and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. Cozy. We would definitely recommend it. And Federica was super responsive, checking in on us several times to make sure all was going well. Thank you, Federica!

We stayed because it was facing the campo where the Palio was racing. It was so fun watching everyone set up and stage before the race and historical parade. It was the best.

Nice home, great location. Basement apartment that feels like a basement apartment on one side as it’s into a hill, but the opposite side has gorgeous windows looking out near the plaza with excellent cross ventilation. Nespresso coffee maker is a big plus, and the bath was very good. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because for the money, it needs better mattresses and a better parking arrangement local parking was €35/day which changed the pricing a bunch. And regarding the mattresses, they weren’t bad, but they weren’t that great either. Other than that we loved having an apartment.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is. From it’s location to the apartment itself, everything far exceeded our expectations. Just steps from the Campo and located on the premiere street in Siena, you’re in the center of all the activity. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and wonderfully appointed The owner couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our extended stay in Siena. Being a VRBO property owner myself, I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the wonderful city of Siena.

It should be noted that this property is below ground level, therefore, it is very dark in the second bedroom and the kitchen . Although there are standing and table lights the main bedroom has a dark wardrobe and it is hard to see what you have inside. The light that is in the hall is wonderfully bright - the bedrooms could use one like it. Overall, location was great .

Excellent stay for the Palio

We stayed in Federica's apartment for 4 days for the August 2018 Palio. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortably accommodated our family of 4. It is perfectly placed in the centre but accessed through a quiet courtyard. Frederica met us at the property and was extremely welcoming providing a very generous welcome pack. From the apartment windows you can see a large section of the Piazza del Campo so we watched some of the trials from the window. However, nothing beats being in the middle of the Piazza for the real thing. Federica was extremely helpful in giving us information on the Palio timings and even helped us get tickets for a contrada dinner which was a fantastic experience. Overall we loved our time in Siena and would definitely revisit this apartment if we return.

This apartment was perfect. Fredericca has it stocked with breakfast and a bottle of wine. It is decorated in such good taste with nice touches. The location is right on the square and very convenient to everything. I would highly recommend this apartment. It is the best one I have ever stayed in.

I am always looking for the shangri-la of places to stay....perfect view, tastefully decorated, good bed, washing machine, stocked pantry, great location, thoughtful host.....this beautiful apartment comes as close as any I have found. Very thoughtful host...starter food, coffee, essentials, WINE for my birthday celebration, even flowers to commemorate the day. Wonderful location in a marvelous city. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. We are in love with Siena.

We stayed here as a family for two nights in April 2017. Federica was very helpful meeting and greeting us and leaving some food for our visit. We loved the apartment. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Views of the Piazza del Campo and the front entrance opened out onto the main shopping street. Everything we could have asked for!

We arrived late afternoon and Federica was waiting right at the taxi for us. She made us so welcome in her apartment and provided us with wine and biscotti as a gift. The apartment was warm (freezing outside) and spotlessly clean! Plenty of towels, fresh crisp linen and everything you would ever need and more! I cannot recommend this accommodation more! If we ever come back to Siena I would have no hesitation in booking this again! Thank you for a wonderful time Federica!

La casa es preciosa, muy bien cuidada y muy bien ubicada, dos ventanas directamente a la piazza di campo. Federica ha sido una anfitriona inmejorable, nos obsequió con champán y chianti y nos dejó una selección de cosas para desayuno muy buenas...la nutella la agradecimos mucho. Si volvemos a Siena, que espero que sí, volveré con federica sin ninguna duda. Gracias por todo

View and Location!

My husband, myself, my son and his fiance stayed in Federica's apt. for 4 nights. We stayed the four nights prior to the Palio and had a simply wonderful time. The apartment has two windows that look out on Il Campo which is where the Palio is run. For some of the preliminary races we went out to Il Campo but for a few of them we were able to watch from our windows. The entrance to the apartment is located in a quiet little courtyard off the main street. The apartment is very comfortable and has all the necessities. Two large bedrooms, a large living room, and a quaint kitchen. The bathroom has a strong shower (always nice). Federica was a great hostess. She left us milk, jam and peanut butter along with a loaf of bread and some crackers for breakfasts. She gave us some great recommendations for meals and we loved all the restaurants that we tried. Any pici dish is worth trying! She was very helpful with all our communications with her. I strongly recommend this apartment if you are traveling to Siena, Palio or not!
