Nice location and beach
The road into the resort is quite an experience when it rains

The place was really chill and relaxing. Not too far as well.
Food is good but a little bit expensive for the serving size. Not a deal breaker though since you can always bring and cook your own.

Food and the people around and the owner☺

~Resort owners along with their staff and even their dogs are very welcoming
~ Excellent customer service, we definitely felt at home
~a very short walk to the beach since their resort is beachfront
~wifi connection is stable
~the only downside is it is a bit far from the town as you need to ride a tricycle or habal-habal but if you have all your supplies then it wouldn't be an issue

This was booked to be a family bonding time, so we arrived around 1.00 pm on Friday and stayed until Sunday morning. The weekend coincided with a couple of birthdays and the staff were brilliant at organising great food and a party atmosphere. They have great water equipment but because of the heat these were not used by us to their full advantage. When we arrived we were able to use their kayaks. They were able to organise an island hopping trip for us at short notice and hired a local boat to accommodate our party of 13. The beach is wide and shallow for the most part and it is possible to stand and not be out of depth quite a distance from the waters edge. This makes water activity safer, even for younger people. The youngest in our party was 7 years old. The activities on land such as table tennis, pool and the essential videoke kept young and not so young members happy.
We booked the family cottage and the tree house which seemed the best combination for our party. If staying in the tree house it is advisable to bring a mosquito net if sleeping there. The tree house really caught the imagination of our youngest, though she did not sleep there.
If you want to avail of the trips offered in may be advisable to check the tide tables. The low tide was at 7.15am when we were there and we went on our trip to see the island disappearing at 7.30, which was great for this trip (for it is visible at low tide and disappears as the tide comes in). I thought to do a trip on kayaks to the mangroves in the afternoon, which Doug very kindly offered to guide, but as high tide was around 2.30 it was considered to be too hot to be exposed on the water during the hottest part of the day. Perhaps with later tides it would be possible go to the island before low tide to see the island emerge and then return when it gets hot. The high tide trip to the mangroves may then be possible in the cooler part of the afternoon. But there is plenty to keep people occupied even of they don't do the trips. And it may not be possible to regulate dates by the tides.

Owners and staff were phenomenal. The food was delicious, and views were stunning 🤩

All the free amenities. Kayak, table tennis, darts and billiards. There are two big dogs around the place but very friendly ones. The location is really great but there are too many jellyfish around the area. The water is clear and the beach is clean! The treehouse sunrise view is something to look forward to. It was an amazing experience. The view is awwwmazing!
I asked for an early check in but wasn't granted. But overall the experience was great. We will surely be back.

Been here twice and it has always been such a relaxing time. It really has a B&B vibe and it feels like a family vacation home. Owners are very accommodating, staff as well, and the dogs are just adorable! Will come back again!

The owner and the staff are amazing. They accommodated us very well and easy to ask favor as well. They have a well behaved dogs 😃
The view of the sunrise. The treehouse itself is nice only if they put screen on the window , there will be less mosquito. Overall it was a great stay😊
Slight problem with their menu.
With the accommodation ( treehouse ) it was ok but so many mosquito.

The owners, Doug and Maria, and their family are wonderful. They are very accommodating and offered us a free upgrade when we decided to stay another night! When we went for an evening walk the owner came on his motorcycle looking for us when we hadn’t returned by dusk!
Nothing could have been better! We had a lovely visit and will definitely stay here again!!
