Disappointing Townhouse
Modernish kitchen
Major construction site opposite (and not advised of during booking), stained chairs, stained lounge seats, untidy garden, dirty cutlery, dirty crockery, over priced. Booking agent charged us for a damage waiver before arrival.

Passable
Excellent wifi Quiet during the weekend Lots of hot water in shower
General maintenance of apartment is not good. Dishwasher fell apart when opened, so could not be used. Bed in 2nd bedroom can only be used by 1 person as mattress sags down in the middle. We used books as a support underneath the bedbase. Lights in diningroom area did not work. Rubbish bins outside full.

Comfortable, cozy and close to the train station.
Very pleasant kitchen area. Roomy main living and dining areas.
Shower did not drain very well but was not really a problem. The stairs are very steep and shallow but we managed just fine.

Construction work up ahead
The apartment had all Modern conveniences and it is fairly close to the centre of town
There is a massive construction project 2m from the front door, which as of now July 2023 will still continue for another two years. we woke up to drilling and heavy vehicles from before 8 a.m. in the morning and this usually only finished after 6 p.m, even Saturdays. we couldn't have doors or windows open because of all the dust coming in. This apartment is supposed to sleep four, but has one bathroom upstairs and no further guest toilet. the floor is wood with huge gaps, there are no rugs, and sound reverberates all around the house from upstairs, from downstairs, and from adjacent rooms. There's absolutely no privacy because of this. We booked for a week and were not left a change of bedding or towels and one single dish cloth. No rag for cleaning, and there was no clean offered during our week-long stay. We asked for a change of linen, and were told that it would cost £75. incredibly they expected us to put out their large garbage bins. I have a housekeeper and a gardener at home I have not touched a bin in probably two decades. The crockery is from a rummage sale, a mismatch of plates and mugs. No side plates, no saucers, no cups. There are places in this house that have not been cleaned for months, from the dust accumulation. We found dirty plates and pots in the cupboards on arrival. Given the pricing, add a few quid and book 2 rooms at the Randolph in the City Centre.

Disappointing - not what is advertised
Location was good. Decent space for a teenage and family.
The check in process with security check. Just take my advice - don’t do it. Leading up to the stay I was getting no less that 3-5 messages a day asking me to provide ID, pay extra for a security fee, sign some online authorisation. They use an agency and an accomodation ID checking company. Bottom line, I like others had my info hacked by ONE of them. Was getting WhatsApp messages that all ALL my details - name, mobile number, place I was staying, dates we were staying. Then wanted me to click on a link and provide credit card details to a live operator! No one has taken responsibility for this. House was renovated (cheaply) about 7 years ago (when the online photos are from) but is been absolutely trashed by short term lease stays and the owners don’t care. No cleaning products, vacuum doesn’t work, cupboard doors fallen off as well as baseboards, random junk in so many of the cupboards, dog beds, suitcases, old letters. It’s like the owners just up and left. Then backyard is not pleasant. Weeds growing up through the instant turf, furniture falling apart. We stayed here twice. Once when I dropped my son at college then again when I picked him up. For the price I would have found another place or a hotel. But we had already pre paid. Filthy used tea towels….Just don’t do it - and find some where else and read all the other reviews!!

Passable, and a real shame the property isn’t maintained to a high standard as it’s a good house
Location was great. Quiet residential area. 10 minutes easy walk into town. House had a good feeling, was comfortable and has great potential. Real shame it hasn’t been maintained and other little issues.
No toilet paper upon arrival, all soft furnishings (bar stools, sofa) really stained and marked. Need to be either replaced or cleaned by a professional. Beds and bedding comfortable and clean. Shower drain blocked and extremely slow, whole House needs a thorough deep clean. I’d say the photos are from about 6+ years ago when the house was first renovated. Definitely not new and sparkling anymore! Was hard to keep clean while we were staying there as there were no cleaning products! Some surface spray to clean the kitchen, some toilet cleaner would have been good.

Overpriced, poorly secured and inaccessible
- good location for WALKING. If you need a car or taxi the road is blocked due to construction road works so there is NO ACCESS - bright, light kitchen
- letting agent breached data protection, so my credit card details were shared and I’ve been subjected to fraud. The agent and the website are not acknowledging this at all. - Bedding doesn’t fit beds - Bathroom window is old and broken, doesn’t close and is a security risk - Lounge sofa is old and dirty - Property is tired and worn, so you can stay at a much nicer hotel in Oxford for the price point
