The location is great. It’s comfortable for a family.
The staff don’t do maintenance even when you call them. We stayed the whole time with leaking sink and bathroom despite reporting to them. They manage remotely and never come to check on their clients

It had enough space fora family of 7. Quiet neighborhood. Good facilities.
I think the services of Staybeyond, the company that manages the letting, what’s poor. The house was dirty and the garden was not ok.

Really nice old house, open plan with a big dinner table and a garden. It was in walking distance from the historic center.
Lots of pubs, cafes and restaurant close by.
We had to remove a cabinet to fit and make the 8th bed ourselves, while we clearly paid and booked for 8!
But the worst part was all the documentation (photos with id) and the 250 deposit we had to pay 2 days before arrival.
Then when I asked for the deposit back a week later, I was told that they will refund after 14 days, but when I checked 4 weeks later still nothing. After contacting them they finally refunded the deposit.

the location is great. the rooms are a nice size. there’s a nice patio. the amenities are wonderful—washer, dryer, dishwasher
the listing says two bathrooms but there aren’t. there are one and a half.
the listing should say the house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
the staircase is narrow which would be okay if there was a bannister.
the bathtub is high and a grab bar would help.

The house was in a lovely quiet street close to shops, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. In short, convenient to everything you needed for a relaxing stay in Oxford. It's walking distance to the city centre. There is a proper kitchen, although we only used it to make a light breakfast each morning. There is instant hot water for showering and enough bed linen and towels. There is a living/dining area with comfortable seating and french doors to a little private outside area.
The roman blinds need fixed in several of the bedrooms.

All good with location - good heating & good equipment in kitchen
Toilet had a leak - which was a known issue as lid off cistern etc and a knife inserted to stop it refilling. So that needs fixing. Also no spotlights working upstairs landing. Could be dangerous. And no hooks on backs of bedroom doors so hard to hang a dress etc

great location . plenty of space for a family of 6
difficult to communicate through the booking.com site . seemed obsessed with organising inspection more than making sure things were ok after initially we couldn’t get into the bathroom then unfortunately a leaking roof . Ridiculous amount of ID checking before ; never experienced this before .

The location was good. The living room was a nice social space for dinner and chat.
There was additional deposit payment outside booking.com's price.
The host required all guests to be above the age of 28.
The host required us to send our personal IDs and pictures in an insecure way.
The property had a broken bathroom door, many broken and wobbly items and doors.
We got woken up by a fire alarm with low battery, which we had to fix ourselves. That was made more difficult because it was not installed correctly in the first place.
I am disappointed with the stay.

In a lock box but I had to keep on at the agent to give me the code. We left home to see other family before Oxford so it was difficult and they would not give me the code until the day before
The house was OK and as we expected. Garden needed weeding and a couple of beds could have been bigger 5 foot ones. The problem was the letting agency. So demanding it was unbelievable. If I could have found another house I would have, so much hassle . I have travelled the world and have not had to supply all the info requested by this agency. My 88 year old mother, my sister with dementia, my son, everyone had to supple photos of themselves close up, then holding a driving licence, then a passport. Elderly people do not have this and we struggled so much to get them all they wanted beforehand, it was a horrible experience. Now I am concerned as to what is going to happen with all the passports, date of births, addresses, personal information they have been given. When I asked why they needed this they said it was to keep the neighbours safe! What from my 88 year mum!
Further the deposit was taken immediately I gave my credit card but the refund took over 15 days to come back and I had to chase and phone up yet again.
To the owner of this house, nice property but please get rid of the letting agency! They do not help you let this. Never would I let from Stay Beyond again, beware.

The Location was prime, within walking distance to pubs, restaurants, stores, and best tourist attractions. Larger apartment with WiFi, kitchen, nice outdoor space, and in Jericho, which is a lovely neighborhood.
The property looks nice but was a bit worn. Most of the hooks for towels would fall off, sofa was stained, walls were scuffed, and beds weren’t comfortable. Property is listed as 2 bathroom, but in the States, we call it 1.25. 2nd bath was a water closet. Very few items if you want to cook, but luckily we did not.

The property is in a quiet location with a nice pub round the corner. It is nice and spacious with a sun trap garden to sit out in after a day’s sightseeing. The kitchen is well equipped with various utensils.
I had been given the wrong keysafe number and no contact for the owner/caretaker to report the lights not working on the landing. Also the toilet roll holder in the main bathroom had broken off and not replaced which is minor but annoying and the only reason you didn’t get full marks for comfy beds is the one in the first floor front squeaks every time you even move an arm or leg.

Homely property for a short break. Beds very comfortable. Shower good. Quiet location but easily walkable to Oxford centre.
Only one bathroom for the 4 bedrooms which can cause queues in the morning, though there is a small toilet under the stairs. The TV wasn’t connected when we stayed and it was reported so it can be looked at for future guests.

Location was fine
TV did not work, reported this still awaiting call back. Communal areas whilst clean looked tired and could do with a clean and paint refresh.

Very comfortable to stay here. warm and cosy. Comfortable beds, nice living room and dining area. We did not cook much except for one breakfast and had all the necessary items. The washer and dryer are very useful. Walking distance to shops and convenient to walk about.
The check in process was cumbersome. Had to email photos of ourselves and our IDs.

As a cheap place to put your head down, it was adequate, and with a deep clean could be a great holiday let. The bedroom sizes were great and comfortable. Bedding was soft, comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities were great, having washing up liquid and sponges, tea towel and complimentary toiletries was amazing. The location of the accommodation was perfect, close enough to town centre to comfortably walk in, but far enough away that the streets were quiet. The property felt secure and safe.
The property wasn't very clean, mainly in the bathrooms, there was thick dust on the skirting boards, radiator and areas of the floor, like behind the door, floor obviously hadn't been cleaned properly in a while. The toilets need a very deep clean, the bottom of the bowls in both toilets were brown and discoloured. The upstairs bathroom is covered in mildew. Although we did not need to use it, we noticed the high chair that was in a cupboard upstairs was also covered in mildew, so definitely wouldn't have wanted to put a baby in there. The walls were covered in hand prints and dirty marks all over the house, the walls definitely need a wash down, or a new coat of paint. The listing said that there was tv, but it had no channels on it, we tried to do an auto tune but it wouldn't work, as we were only there a few days we just left it, even though we could have called the property management to come fix it. The WiFi information given to us in the welcome pack was incorrect, luckily the name and password was on the back of the router box, so we accessed it that way. We had to wash up most of the plates, cutlery, glasses and cups we wanted to use because most weren't clean or were greasy, I think this is down to the dishwasher mostly as the couple of times we used it, not only is the bottom tray broken but we had to use the 70 degree celcuis intensive wash, anything lower didn't clean the load properly. Also only half the toaster was working.

Decor and size.
Could do with some replacement items as items tired. Main bed is extremely uncomfortable, small and broken underneath. I didnt get any sleep. Gas hob is messy, fridge tray broken, toaster has burnt mark. Needs a handrail for the stairs and a replacement banister spindle in the landing as a gap.

The location was great for our needs, lots of cafes and bars nearby but the street and area very quiet The house itself was very well equipped and the bed linen and towels were good quality Would definitely recommend this property and we will most certainly stay again
There were no baking trays in the kitchen and no bog standard teabags, luckily we had some with us! But other than that the kitchen was extremely well equipped

Thus is a great home, filled with light and very quiet. There are in fact, 4 bedrooms / 4 beds and 1 full bath. There is a tiny WC on the ground floor. The beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. Large living room / dining room area with well equipped kitchen. We will hope to stay here again.
Would be great to update the rugs.
