La amabilidad de la anfitriona fue espectacular, aún siendo día dominical, nos espero tarde en la noche para realizar la entrega de las habitaciones. Además, de quedar en la zona colonial, es perfecto para familias...
No tengo objeción alguna...

Location - walking distance to old town literally round the corner! Safe as long as you are walking towards old town. Clean. The guy working there was really friendly and tried his best to make us comfortable even though he only spoke Spanish and ours wasn't great, he was very patient. We were allowed to have a late check out, as there wasn't luggage storage.
Water pressure in shower very low. Though there was warm water. We had booked a large family room with 2 double beds, but when we arrived we were shown a large double room with 1 double bed. After explaining the issue, we were given a large double room and a small double room. No kettle in the room, we asked and was told there wasn't one. We had informed them via booking our approx arrival time but no one was there when we arrived. Luckily the taxi driver helped us and got another man to call and wait with us until someone arrived.

The worst experience of my life and i’ve travelled to at least 40 countries. The owner is a thief, she tried to get money from me as a scum. She asked her employee not to let me leave on the last day and they pretended to call the police when I said that I would not pay more than what was agreed via booking.com. They had locked the doors of the building for more than an hour and thankfully I was with a friend that was accompanying me and the taxi driver that was waiting for me. The police never came (it was a lie since the beginning just to scary me and agree to pay more), the owner appeared after an hour shouting and behaving like a crazy person insulting me because i didnt want to pay extra 1,500 dominican pesos (c. 30 USD) than what we had agreed.
My friends and got scummed a few times in Dominican Republic, but it was never that bad comparing to this case. The worst experience of my whole life. I would never recommend to stay there to anyone!!

Good value for the price, friendly staff, they don't speak much English but are patient to hear me out, AC pretty good
Wouldn't complain about the place because of the good price. The surroundings is what it is, that's how it is like in la Zona

Great location to experience the culture and daily life of Dominicans in the Old Town of Santo Domingo. Stayed with my two teenage sons to show them my fathers country and they were also very pleased with the house and facilities. Also very centric location, near main roads to head off to explore the rest of the southern coast and the island.

The Location was great at the corner of Zona Colonial. Small room with kitchenette, but smart solution of arrangement. Very friendly and helpful staff. showed us even the parking lot in walking distance. they allowed us to choose bigger room/ more noise or smaller with less noise.
The mattress was way to soft for tall people, rolling from the side right into the centre. Due to the small room, it feels a bit humid - using the Fan and AC mandatory. bathroom bit too small that you can only use the Toilet sideways. holder for shower was broken.

Perfect location for the Colonial Zone. Friendly, helpful people. Room and bed really comfortable. Liked the art work and the collection of shells and coral on the bedside table. Secure car parking on street round the corner for 300 peso for afternoon and overnight. A short but very enjoyable stay.

The staff was really friendly.
The budget room had no hot water and pieces of the ceiling were falling on the bed but the owner changed us to a really nice room for the same price as the budget room so all good in the end.

I loved the location. The staff did come.to open our room very late at night because locked ourselves out. Very nice of them.
We didnt get cleaning accessories. The space was too small. The stairs are a hendirous with luggages.

Fantastic location at the edge of the Colonial Zone. Our room had a balcony with a view of the street. AC was not missed, fan was enough. You cannot park directly in front of the house but it is possible in the other streets around for free, or there is a paid and guarded overnight parking (RD$ 300) a block away.
No hot water in the shower.

Really nice and cozy. Nothing was problem. We ask for a table and lamp and we have it. Everything was clean. Comportabe bed. Hight recommendable. We were happy to spent some time there.
There was little bit of noise from the street.

Location is good. The host was very responsive and tried her best to solve any issues.
Quiet area, very comfortable bed.
Although in the description it’s written that not all rooms have AC, the pictures show AC even in the room without. That might be misleading.
I have asked for an early checkin to leave my stuff, which the host agreed nicely, however I was asked, that because of that to use the AC no more than 8 hours.
There wore some issues with the sheer drain and the curtains, but wore sober right away.
Beware, the property does not have hot water. That is not mentioned in booking.
The host seemed a bit invasive, sending me multiple messages reminding me of all the rules ( eg: how much I can use the AC, rules for guests, info about cameras on property, Ecc)
However, I stayed only 1 night and for the cost it was worth it.
