We had plenty of room for all. We loved the rocking chairs on the porch listening to the creek and cicadas. Bean bags were a big hit with the boys, and the pool table. Everyone loved the hot tub. One thing to remember, driving is slow. Nowhere is a quick trip! Haha! This is a grest place to stay.

Beautiful cabin with the beautiful sounds from the stream going beside the house is the absolutely perfect setting. Our extended family of 17 was able to spread out and have a blast!! I could not recommend more!

Laurel Creek Hideaway is beautiful and accommodates a family of 13 nicely with room to gather and space for individual interests. The hiking in the Smoky Mts was great. We were there at a busy time (early July), and the next trip will probably be in the fall. A bear visited the cabin on day #1 and several bears with cubs were seen on the hikes.

Great location, very good amenities, excellent location for family.

Absolutely beautiful! This place was exactly as described. Very spacious for our entire family. It had everything needed and more! Perfect location in the mountains. The house had plenty to do for the whole family. Most days we didn’t even want to leave and were content spending time at this beautiful place. The kids loved playing in the creek. We even saw a bear in our driveway. Communication was quick and prompt whenever I had a question. I highly recommend staying here!

The cabin was amazing. There is room to roam and explore creek. Fire pit was used nightly. Beds and furniture very comfortable. I would recommend.

We all had an amazing time, from the 3 year old all the way up to the 64 year old. The activities in the house kept the young ones engaged while the adults enjoyed the covered porches. We even were able to use the fire pit one night and made a contest out of putting out the fire. Easy drive into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Great for large groups. Kitchen well equipped.

We had a wonderful week in Gatlinburg. The property was very nice and large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. We did not know that it was so high up on a mountain and it did give anxiety to a few family members driving to and from the home. We also watched several times daily for bears and were so disappointed that we never saw any.

Beautiful weekend accommodations for a family get away in the mountains. Spacious with comfortable, private accommodations for parents with grown children and their significant others. Gathering areas were comfortable and accommodating for 10+ people. Fire pit area, hot tub, downstairs gaming room were a big hit!

Lots of rentals have enough bedrooms for extended family vacations, but this house also has exceptionally gathering space. The living room is massive with tons of seating. We had 8 adults, a baby and two dogs and this house could not have been more perfect. Tons of space, fully stocked kitchen and very convenient to town. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful cabin in a beautiful, peaceful area of the smokies!!! The perfect place for a perfect getaway with our children that we only get to see a couple of times a year. You want peace and relaxation? You will find it here!
Thanks so much for the great time had by all!! I wished there had been more time to stay longer. Maybe next time!!!

This home provided everything we needed and more. The accommodations were great for our large family with plenty of space and entertainment for everyone . It was in a great location making getting around very easy. My only complaint is that it was difficult to regulate the temperature. I would highly recommend this home for a large group gathering.

Great Family Christmas trip. The fire pit was a huge hit with the family. We roasted hot dogs and smores over the fire multiple times.
The cabin was lovely, and had a Christmas tree up and some other decorations. Great stay.

The cabin itself was beautiful. Very large and the perfect size for all of our family members. We were also able to bring our dogs which made things even more accommodating. Chris was very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to the trip. We had a few minor issues with some cleanliness of the cabin. There was pet hair left on one of the beds and the sheets, and we found miscellaneous items that a prior guest must have left laying around and the cleaners never picked up. The Jacuzzi water had the smell of mildew, so it didn’t quite seem like it had been cleaned prior to our arrival or chemicals may have needed to be added. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the fire pit due to fire restrictions and then some rainy days. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed. The kids loved playing in the game room. My only suggestion would be that the cleaners pay a little more attention to detail. Overall, the cabin was perfect for our family.

We booked our stay months ahead of time, so anticipation was high! From the moment we got there to the minute we left, Laurel Creek Hideaway met our every expectation! It was as if LCH was built for our unique family. Communication with the owners was excellent and prompt for questions ahead of time, but with written explanations of the running of the home and more than adequate essentials provided, there was no need for us to bother them during our stay. The location of the cabin is perfect to visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We wouldn’t change a single thing, and the talk of another visit next year has already begun!

Laurel Creek Cabin is the most beautiful cabin I have stayed in! Chris and Sarah are awesome hosts. Any questions we had were answered in minutes from asking. We had a mini family reunion there and the cabin had plenty of space for adults and children to enjoy. The kitchen is large and well equipped and has a large table for dining. The main level porch is filled with rocking chairs and is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the cool mountain air. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. If you’re looking for a nice private retreat in the mountains, this is your cabin!

We had a small group of friends to celebrate a 50th bday. The house was perfect for our needs! We were visited daily by bears so it’s no joke about all references in the booking info! The road up to the house feels adventurous, no doubts of being up in the mountains. The house was clean & just as expected other than there isn’t a Mountain View so be aware of that but we did some nature trails where the views were plentiful! I would recommend this property for a group stay! The decks & game room are fabulous hangout spaces.

We stayed at the cabin over the weekend for a basketball tournament and loved it. It was so convenient to the Rocky Top facility. The cabin was impeccably clean and the owners responded quickly to any questions I had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

17 family members stayed for 5 days. The house accommodated us all. Love the large dining table, couches were comfortable, beds were comfortable. Hot tub was a hit and so was the fire pit. The only ask I would have for next time would be extra blankets and a sharp kitchen knife. Will stay again

I just want to say if you are looking at this cabin, stop right now and hit the reserve button because I promise you, you will be more than glad you did. Beautiful inside and out! You would think with a rental vacation property you would see something missed, I’m here to tell you nothing and I mean nothing is missed while cleaning, y’all I could not fine dust in anything even the decorations way way up high!! ZERO, this place is big enough for everyone of all ages, I will be back and next time for a whole week!! Amazing experience I have nothing to complain about at all!! Just rent this place !!!

This house was the perfect fit for our group! The kitchen table was large enough to accommodate our entire group for eating, playing games and just sitting around visiting. The living room had plenty of couch space to kick back and watch a movie.. We even got to make a little fire in the fire pit one afternoon. Chris and Sarah do a great job at sending out information regarding your stay. We lost water the first day, due to extreme cold, and Chris had someone over to take care of it that day. It was even Christmas Eve. We would for sure stay at Laurel Creek again!

We stayed at Laurel Creek Hideaway. Our whole group was incredibly impressed with every inch of this property. This cabin and property is beautiful inside and out. I can not emphasize how clean this cabin was(I think I have a touch of OCD for cleanliness). The owners emailed and texted us every single bit of information that we could’ve possibly needed and everything worked and was perfect, so there was no reason for communication on our end, I’d imagine it would’ve been amazing as well. They did text several times during our stay to make sure everything worked and if we had any questions. We have stayed at many cabins in Tennessee, and from here on out, we will only stay one of Chis and Sarah’s cabins(they have 6 different ones) because they definitely know what they are doing! Thank you Chris and Sarah for a amazing vacation!

Great setup for multi family gathering. Every family had their own space and a large family room and kitchen and table space to gather together. Plus plenty to entertain us with pool table and games
5.0
We wanted to get our family together for a few days before the holidays. We have 7 children under the age of 7, plus 10 adults. This house had room for everyone. Most importantly for us, the ability to all sit together for meals!! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, there was ample space to gather as a family but to also spread out and have our own space as needed. There was plenty of parking and the outdoor decks were fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is the 1.5 miles coming in to the house off the main road. It’s a narrow, winding, typically-Gatlinburg road which can be a challenge in the dark or in poor weather conditions. Overall, a wonderful experience!

30 years of visiting the Smokies, in tents, campers and cabins, this is hands down the best place we’ve stayed! Perfect place for our annual fall family vacation. Morning gatherings at the breakfast table and night caps at the fire pit bookended our days hiking in the National Park. Add a unique bear story and this will go down as our most memorable trip ever!
From location to cleanliness to communication with the owner, excellent marks across the board. We’ll definitely return!
Thank you, Chris & Sarah!

The cabin is amazing! It’s well maintained. There was a generous amount of toilet paper, paper towels, wash clothes, and towels. The owner provided us plenty of information to enjoy our stay. The kids really enjoyed the game room. I would absolutely stay here again.

Laurel Creek is a beautiful gem in the mountains in Gatlinburg. High up on the mountain, tucked away in a secluded spot, with a stream beside it. The house is the ultimate Lincoln Log house on steroids dream retreat. 5 master suits, all beautiful and comfortable. A kitchen that seats an army. Plenty of space to be together, or, when you need a little quiet time, plenty of space to call your own. We had our extended family, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. We lacked nothing to do, we were close enough to Gatlinburg that it wasn't far away to go visit. The Mama Bear and her 2 cubs were a plus! Sitting on the massive porch with rocking chairs for all was a great place to listen to the rain storm one night --- beautiful. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the cabin for a week with our four kids, their spouses and our 8 grandkids ranging from 1 to 9 years old and we never felt on top of each other. The 5 bedrooms each had their own full bathrooms and all of the bedrooms were spread out among the three floors. The Cabin was spacious, clean and perfect. The upper porch had 10-12 rocking chairs that the entire family used every night together. The best part was seeing almost daily, a momma bear and her three cubs walking through the property. It was AMAZING. I have the best pictures and video of the bear cubs playing with each other and doing summersaults down the hill. So cute! This cabin was decorated so cute and had everything you would want. It was one of the best vacations the family has ever taken!
