Mixed thoughts and feelings 😕

Breakfast, the late checkout.

Usually, the Indians don't honor anything. It was good to speak with someone kind and considerate. Customers spend far too much money for these stays. And expect the privileges when stated. Unfortunately, some people lack customer service and kindness. They get the privilege to be within a system. Choice Hotels needs to be consistent with all the hotels. There should be training with everyone on the same page. As a DIAMOND 💎 member. I'd like to be treated with more than a thank you. The Indians do not give you complimentary water or anything. It would be nice if they'd get with the program and the American way. Lastly, there shouldn't be deposits for DIAMONDS members. We've proven to be good customers. If there aren't any changes soon, I must go to the Marriott Bonvoy. They're consistent with their privileges and professionalism.

Won't stay in that town again.

Area was very shady, walls in room were filthy. Very thin walls and flooring and bed were super uncomfortable. Dirty wash cloth left in shower.

The stay was very relaxing and hand not k issues or concerns.

The property was friendly and relaxing.

It's ok, but not the cleanest.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Floors appeared to not have been vacuumed prior to stay. Tiny bits of paper and fuzz balls all around on carpet. Used wash cloth was left hanging on shower curtain rod.

Cleaning standards lacking

Comfortable bed. Front desk lady upgraded our room after the room booked was discovered to have not been cleaned.

Room originally booked was not properly cleaned. Our crawling infant found an old piece of candy in the carpet within minutes of getting out of his carrier. Furniture had stains. Tables needed wiped down or dusted.

Warm southern hospitality

As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed with big smiles and nothing but brilliant service. Tiffany at reception was amazing and managed to accommodate an early check in for us

The front desk clerks were amazing! Housekeeping was good and the breakfast was great! We were here for grandson’s gradu

The property was very quiet and well maintained. Security on premises was a plus.

The only thing we didn’t like is the doors you have to open to get to the elevators. A little annoying!

A comfortable stay with everything we needed.

I only ate yoghurt and banana for breakfast but my husband said eggs were OK but sausage was dry. The area is OK. We felt safe but it's a little run down. It's what you expect in Birmingham though so all good. And we had a good dinner at Applebee's right across the street.

Overall I had a great experience

Everyone was extremely friendly and the room was perfect. The breakfast was awesome too! Overall I'd definitely stay there if I ever travel back through the city!

5 minutes after we checked in a housekeeper came in our room without knocking. Everyone involved was shocked but still a courtesy knock is very important.

It was okay.

The room was a nice size for the price.

People hanging out around/on the property. Also we killed 2 cockroaches in our room. When told the agent at the desk at check out but they seemed unconcerned.

Not a an overall great experience:

The staff was nice

The first room and bugs and they changed our room. The next room was good, but the people above is kept running and jumping! Excessive noise, woke us up out of our sleep.
