A éviter absolument

Simo is a absolute legend! When I arrived I was coming from the desert recovering from a illness I booked for one night and as soon as I arrived I extended another 2 because it’s just the perfect place to relax slow down and enjoy and recover.
the location is perfect, close to the main street and the taxis but away enough that you don’t here any street noise! Simo and his sister cook the yummiest food and he is super easy to get along with! The rooms are comfortable and cozy. He is full of knowledge and helped me with everything I needed! I’m super grateful for Simo and his flexibility and allowing me to stay the extra two nights in the same room.
It’s worth the visit in his beautifully designed home

The room was very lovely decorated, one of our favourites in two weeks of travel in Morocco. The host is very welcoming, warm and friendly. Great for a rest stop in Midelt.

È possibile cenare in struttura.

Great location for a stopover to or from the dessert. The place looks beautiful and has a nice terrace. We were warmly welcomed by Nola.
The bed was a bit hard to our taste, but this seems common in Morocco. Furthermore, the shower was quite cold when we wanted to use it.

Very beautiful place, a mix of old & new Moroccocan Style. Comfortable room away from the heat. The Host was very hospitable & kind. Would definitely return another time. Super cosy roof terrace with lots of places to hang out.

A cosy and personal place where the owner welcomes his guests and takes great efforts to make it an enjoyable stay. The staff/owner is friendly and approachable and we had nice conversations in the evening. Since we arrived after a long road trip, we were offered to have our dinner delivered to the Atlas Room roof terasse and bar (lovely decoration, so many details!); it was prepared by family members and came for a reasonable price. It was very good local food. The place was not so easy to find but, funnily, the two people we randomly asked both knew the place. Last but not least, the place has a shared living room and an open roof terasse, so it's a perfect place to get in touch with other travelers. A parking lot is nearby.
You are invited to a welcoming home in the middle of town, but it's not a hotel. If you hope for a perfect view from your room or ancient mosaics with palmtrees in riad-style, it's probably not your place. So, check your expectations!

This was the perfect place to stay for one night on our way from the desert to Fes! Atlas Room is like a big shared house with several rooms and common areas. We were welcomed by a great hostess with an exceptional life story who gave us a warm welcome and shared her knowledge about Moroccan culture during great talks. The rooms are nicely designed and cozy, you can either book a a room with a private (although very small) bathroom or a room with shared bathrooms. Every room has a lock, so you don't need to fear for the safety of your belongings. The bed was comfortable and the size of the room was fine for one night. There is a very cosy rooftop terrace with plants and several seating areas, where you can easily relax and get to know fellow travellers. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was not included in the price of the room, but the price was really more than okay (I think it may have been something around 3 Euro per person).
The location of Atlas Room was in a very central area in a small alley where you could unload your luggage directly in front of the house and park the car for free only a few meters away on a small parking lot.
I'd highly recommend Atlas Room to anyone wanting to split the long drive from Merzouga to Fes! We certainly had one of the best experiences here during our stay in Morocco :)

Most people just pass by this town on the way to elsewhere, spending one night to rest before heading off. This place is perfect for that purpose. It’s comfortable, relatively easy to find, and very friendly.

We didn’t expect much of Midelt as we knew it was a famous stop on the way to other places. But we decided to stay two days and hike in the mountains and we’re so happy we did so. Not only the place is really well decorated and comfortable, you immediately feel at home especially thanks to Nola, the hostess, who took care of us. We have had the best time with her and meeting her family. She gave us a lot of good advice for hiking in the whereabouts of Midelt. It really is the place where we’ve met the nicest people of Marrocco.

Excellent location and friendly hostess. The Wifi is the best so far in our 14 day trip through Morocco. We were able to use the kitchen to prepare dinner.
Men’s bath room door cannot be closed.

We did not really have Midelt high on our agenda - perceived it more as halfway stop on our road-trip from Fez to Merzouga, but in the end it was one of the highlights of our trip. Mostly because Simo is such a welcoming host and has created a beautiful place to feel comfortable at - definitely check out his music choices and roof terrace! The food his sister cooked for us was delicious and he has a beautiful mineral collection! Also he recommended us a great camp to stay in the Sahara!
Nothing in particular. It was just a great stay with lots of nice conversation! Thank you again!!!

The place was beautifuly decorated and had a vibe to make you feel like home. When we arrived the fire in fireplace kept us warm and host Simo was waiting for us with delitious dinner cooked by his mother. We had a heater in the room and enough blankets to have a good sleep. He helped us with many advice for our trip and was very friendly.
I would reccomend everyone to stay at Atlas room in Midelt!

Great host, accommodating and welcoming. The accommodation makes it for a great stop in Midelt. The house is cozy, well maintained and car park is available right there at the location.
Moring coffee at top floor was great.
No passport check on the day when I arrived; this would have been great for an improved sense of safety. Apart from this none to mention.

Very cozy living room. We were there in December and it was a bit cold, so Simo putted on the fire place. It was nice and warm. We felt really welcome.
