Marokkanisch wie wir uns es vorgestellt hatten

Das war die erste Unterkunft nach 5 Tagen Marokko, in der wir zur Begrüssung Datteln angeboten bekamen. Diese kleine Aufmerksamkeit hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Einrichtung des Empfangs und Restaurants war für uns typisch marokkanisch. Der Garten war üppig voll mit Rosen und der Poolbereich war schön. Das A-la-Carte Abendessen war sehr lecker und das Frühstück vielseitig und mehr als ausreichend.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers hat uns nicht so sehr gefallen. Allerdings war es mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann (Fernseher, Kühlschrank, Haar-Föhn etc.)

5* peaceful accommodations and incredible staff

My stay at Villa pomme d’or was perfect. The staff truly make the experience 11/10. Very accommodating, kind, helpful and friendly. The gardens are beautiful and the entire property is peaceful and serene.

Pool maintenance is needed.

The bedding was excellent. Room was clean. Fridge was big. Staffs were lovely.

Heerlijke en erg goed verzorgd.

Een pareltje in een arm stadje. We werden zeer goed ontvangen. Heerlijke kamer met lekker bed. Ontbijt en diner in een erg mooi ingerichte ruimte waar het houtvuur lekker brande.

In stadje zelf hebben niet iets gevonden wat er goed uitzag dus hier gegeten. Heel vers en en gekruid. De kip Tajin was erg zout en geserveerd met patat er bovenop. Niet zo gepast.

A place of warmth, hospitality, good food and comfortable rooms make this place worth travelling to.

This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel and it never fails to provide an exceptional welcome to its guests. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted as an honored guest and, as with my second and third stay, as a friend and neighbor. The team is attentive but never intrusive. I feel at home when I come here and look forward to my next visit.

Uma pausa no caminho do Saara

É uma linda casa da primeira metade do século 20. Atendimento cordial. Fomos recebidos com chá, tâmaras e amêndoas. Jantar e café da manhã muito bons. Pudemos abrir nosso vinho no jantar, sem cobrança de rolha. Nosso quarto ficava apartado da casa, um apartamento de 2 suítes. No centro da cidade. Ótima opção no caminho do deserto.

Os quartos do apartamento eram separados por cortina. Uma porta daria mais privacidade.

We highly recommend this hotel!

Very beautiful hotel, very romantic. We highly recommend this hotel! The courtyard inside the hotel is beautiful and there are two cute cats. Although the room is a little old, it has been cleaned well. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious, also the juice and fried eggs was the best I have ever had in Morocco, and it had a ritual feel with beautiful music. Besides，Sami very kindly, with excellent service and greetings. You can also find Sami chat, he will be very sincere to give you local advice. Thank you. It's a beautiful place. Looking forward to stay here next time.

Ottimo hotel tra Nord e Sud del paese.

Un perfetto hotel per spezzare il viaggio dal Nord del Marocco al Sud, per accedere al deserto. La struttura é ben curata e pulita. Le camere hanno uno stile più vicino a quello europeo. Staff gentile e accogliente. Cena tradizionale molto gustosa. Colazione abbondante e piena di prodotti tipici. Avevamo chiesto di poterla consumare ad un’ora prima dell’orario previsto e gentilmente é stato fatto di tutto per poterci soddisfare (il problema principale é sempre il pane perché dovendolo acquistare esternamente alla struttura, bisogna attendere l’apertura dei panifici). Molto apprezzato. Un generale un perfetto hotel.

Ok for a one-night stay!

Staff is good, room and hotel itself is old (grandma house) but ok for a short stay. Didn’t try the breakfast nor the swimming pool (but pool looked ok!). Close to center if you want to dine out. No park inside but only outside on the street in front of the hotel, pretty safe though.

Very good

The outside - garden & swimming pool are very nice, breakfast is rich and very good, the staff is super kind and available, the fridge into the room very useful. potentially also the villa is an amazing place

Generally speaking the building should be reniewed and the rooms could be cleaner. Some of the bathrobes should be replaced.

Lovely, clean, original, friendly - Highlight on our road trip

Very nicely renovated old house or villa with a nice pool and garden. Old (original) furniture and interior but modern bath. This is how the “old Morrocco” must have been. Very friendly personnel, good breakfast (no buffet) and dinner can be ordered and was good. No parking – we parked on the street in front of the security cameras. No problem. If I ever need to stay longer in the area I would book here again.

A beautiful villa with charm!

First of all I must praise the service here because Sammy has done a first class job! It does not get better than this! The food in the evening was one of the best I had in Morocco. The villa is of course old but also cozy. The beds are so soft that we fell asleep unintentionally in the afternoon. The pool was exactly how you want a pool to be. I can only recommend the hotel! We had an amazing stay!

Great villa stay in Midelt on the road to Fes or Merzouga.

The villa is amazing, especially with the garden and the great pool. Both dinner and breakfast very good. Staff is very friendly. For the alcohol fans, there is a shop selling alcohol 250 mtrs from the hotel.

Minor detail but there were only 3 sunbeds at the pool and they were pretty old and in a mediocre condition

Beautiful Home Comforts

What a beautiful French style villa. Our room was huge and near to the pool area. The food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good. The host, Sammy, was a very pleasant, friendly, and helpful guy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had 2 TVs, and neither of them were picking up signals. However, this didn't take away from our stay, because we weren't there to watch TV.

The setting was marvellous. There were roses everywhere and the air smelled wonderful, The room was perfect, the staff was very friendly. the parking in front of the gate was easy.

Abdulghani the host at the kitchen and dining table is the nicest person, most caring and the beef tagine is the best I've ever had in my life

The checkin manager was not friendly and rather hostile and the room with me and my wide was in the villa and my kids room was outside the villa in a transformed servant quarters. ABDULGHANI the restaurant and night manager was extremely wonderful but I believe the owners only care about a quick buck at a halfway house between Fez and the desert

Excellent guest house in Midelt

Villa Pomme D'Oro is old beautiful guest house. The rooms are spotless, warm and very well decorated. The place is very autentic, mix of tradition maroccan and french style and excellent choice for stopover between Merzouga and Fes. The host is welcoming and kind and all the staff is very helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The yard is big and peacefull with swimming pool. Excellent choice for rest in Midelt.

Lovely room, we stayed in winter the heating was fantastic. Opening the door you step into the very comfortable lounge, on the back wall there was a large mirror you open the mirror into a secret bedroom and ensuite. Very quirky. We loved it and would stay again.
