This cabin has a large covered front porch to sit and watch the sunset, read a book, bird watch, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather. Also, it is about an hour from our door to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and little under an hour to the beautiful town of Sedona with red rock cliffs and gorgeous trails. Plenty of nearby hikes and things to do. Several small lakes to fish in close by. Bring your hammock, there are numerous pine trees on the property to relax underneath! The area recently received record snow in winter 2023. Between October to April there is a chance to have occasional snow fall! Everything was great. But linens could be a little cleaner. Musky smells.

My husband and I have now stayed here four times and it’s our favorite place, we look forward to it every year! Christianna and her husband Joe are incredibly helpful and responsive. They have added amenities to the property since we first went in 2021, so now it’s even more perfect for us bringing our toddler son. We always leave saying we wish we had another day or two! There is so much to do in the cabins and on the property, plus the Deer Farm nearby, Bearizona and exploring Williams. We just got home yesterday and already can’t wait to go back! Thank you Joe and Christianna for sharing your incredible place with us!

Fun, relaxing, enjoyable stay. All ages had fun. Everything you needed was in the cabin.

The cabins, location and accommodations were perfect. Just as described when booking and we had the best family vacation. Thank you!

This was by far the worst rental we've ever had. The owner was awful. One cabin had no heat, we had no water, there is no wifi, no washer or dryer, when the water does work you are limited to a certain amount of water you can use, and the place is a dump, it was a very unsafe place to be, and the owners did nothing to help. We had to leave and go stay elsewhere. After I told the owner our concerns she turned around and accused us of lying. I have a receipt for the other houses I rented during our stay to prove this. The owner accused us of breaking things and stealing some old nasty pillows. They will not be upfront with you. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent here. Owner claims her daughter is the cleaner and they will accuse you of every and anything just to try and get money. The place is very old and dirty. It is in a horrible location. We took videos of the place when we got there and videos when we left. Glad we were smarter than the owner.

This cabin was so amazing, very much like a home away from home. We love the snow, this was the first time my kids have in person seen snow and played in snow. Our old kids did complain of the no wifi but it was a good thing, they put the phones down and had fun having snow ball fights, making angels, smores and becoming kids again instead of wanting to be adults. We definitely want to plan a spring or summer vacation here. This cabin is beautiful. Thank you so much. Its was a great and much needed break from the city.

This place was awesome, we stayed with the family over Christmas week with kids of all ages and there was something to do for everyone. The place could use a good deep cleaning and some attention to detail, but overall we enjoyed our time here.

Very cozy and everything I was looking for in a winter getaway.

We loved being out in the woods. The outdoor amenities are awesome for kids and grown ups.

Awesome location. It is a residential neighborhood, but it's quiet and the lots are large and wooded so it still feels secluded.
The 6 year old had a blast with all the entertainment options (zip line was his favorite by far) and the adults enjoyed the conveniences of the cabin and outdoor grilling area. We spent one lazy day on the property and the rest of our 8 day stay was spent visiting area lakes, the Grand Canyon, Williams, Bearizona, etc.
Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We had a wonderful time in Williams, AZ and Ponderosa retreat was icing on the cake. The cabins were cozy with everything we needed. Board games, zip line, fire pit and a little play set for our kiddos. Cabins were lovely decorated. We will definitely be coming back!

Awesome place for family.
It was a great time. Only complaint it was not long enough. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Place
Had a great time at these cabins. Was perfect for the 10 of us. Only feedback is it could use a good scrubbing. Spider webs, dusty blinds, etc. Otherwise great place!! Would come back for sure!

Beautiful setting
Zipline was a hit for the kids 3yrs-14yrs. The setting was beautiful my grown children brought and hung up travel hammocks. It was a nice location in proximity to Williams and other attractions. The property management just needs to make sure there are plenty of towels and to spray for bugs and spiders in the small house. We were 12 people with 10 bath towels but we had some beach towels. Also no on sight laundry

Family Fun
Again, we enjoyed the stay and is perfect for the family gathering. Love the game room garage and how it opens to a beautiful forest view, especially during a monsoon afternoon storm. We played cornhole, wiffle ball, ping pong, poker, and frisbee golf. Also a great location for Williams activities and golf.

We stayed at these cabins which were a convenient home base (~1 hr) from Grand Canyon. Williams is a quiet town, maybe quieter in April when we were there. House is rustic but comfortable. Second cabin has a nice living room but the rec room is a garage - wasn't totally obvious to us on the listing. Bedrooms in second cabin don't have doors - they have drapes so not completely private from one another when using both. Overall the cabins could use some freshening up, we found cobwebs around and a previous guest's clothing was left on a kitchen chair. Good place for outdoor time and great for those who are looking for a rustic, outdoorsy experience.

Great place but with some shortcomings
We had a wonderful stay at this property, and having two separate spaces - with multiple aged family members, naps, etc - was just perfect. We especially loved the game room and playing pingpong with the garage door open to fresh air. The outdoor play area, fire pit, and picnic tables were also very nice. But, I do have to say that there were several things lacking in this property that would normally be expected given the price we paid. There is no laundry or wi-fi on site, the former of which meant spending a couple hours in a laundromat in the next town to wash towels after a visit to Slide Rock at one point. Also, with no laundry facilities, we had to pack outfits for a full seven days, which meant checking bags for our flights and the added costs. Additionally there were little things like broken window squares, the main bathroom door lock not working (not fun with the number of people the property accommodates), one burner of the stove not working properly, the need to conserve water when showering because of the water supply. None of these things were deal breakers, but we've done lots of rentals through the years with different services and this was just not the kind of property you would expect for the price we paid. We did have a great time, and the owners were friendly, responsive, and helpful.

We had a group of 9 students and 1 faculty member on a field trip to the desert southwest. Property was ideal for proximity to Grand Canyon and the 2 buildings gave us space to spread out. My students liked the games in the 2nd cabin. Beds were comfortable. It was a very good choice for us.

This property was so amazing, we were planning another trip here, while we were still there! The main cabin was plenty of space for us, our 4 kids, and their grandpa! The guest cabin was filled with games and the kids really enjoyed playing outside on the play set and glider. Overall, this was an amazing stay and we will be back ASAP!

Our family had an amazing time at the cabin. We were a large group so having the double cabins was a plus. Lots of room and lots of this to keep both the kids and adults occupied. Great place for a large family or group to relax and have fun.

Just what we needed
This place was amazing. Lots of room for the whole family; my husband and I with our two youngest kids (teenagers) , my sister-in-law with her two oldest kids (teenagers) and my in-laws. It's just what we needed. It was far enough away from the busy city, but still within driving distance. Would recommend to friends and co-workers.

Great place for memories
We gathered with 10. Plenty of room for all to have a comfortable space. And, the 'guest' cabin allowed us to gather as one. We played games each night, plenty of room for all. Good location for the Grand Canyon and plenty of things to do in Williams. We meandered on Route 66. You will not regret the purchase.

Great communication with property manager. Would have given 5 stars but the property needs a good cleaning. It’s not dirty and the beds were clean and comfy, just needs a deep clean to get rid of some of the cobwebs. Pictures of the property don’t exactly show the guest cabin in it’s true state. Property was fun for a fun weekend.

We really had a good time at this property. The lot its located on has plenty of parking and is located on a corner. We valued this as the kids rode their bikes around the driveway out to the street and back in the driveway on the other side. The spaces are bigger then shown in the listing photos. The BBQ space was great to hang out in the evenings and super easy to feed everyone at meal time. We had a great time !
