Your 1b, 1ba Loft with a hand-carved, Ash hardwood Queen Bed. The Loft sits on 10 acres+, unlike 1-2 acre or less, packed areas like Kachina Village, Mountain Aire, Baderville, Doney Park, or Sherwood Forest, which are neighborhoods. These “city neighborhood styled areas” are NOT desirable; mixed communities with nice houses and junk properties intermingled.
At The Loft, you will not be in a suburban or semi-rural neighborhood. You’ll be staying far from local cities. This is a free-standing, remote, deep-in-forest place with a gorgeous view of the famous Spring Valley. The Loft is a separate, secured living area above our offices with all new appliances, hand-carved hardwood aspen bed with bed warmers, deck off the Master Bdrm, new wood stove with free firewood, HD DirecTV, breakfast bar & dining nook. Kitchen ware and utensils, salt, pepper & some spices stocked for your convenience.
This property was initially developed in 1990 by the Wrigley Family. Yes. Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs), Wrigley Chewing Gun. Known by legacy as “The Wrigley Ranch,” it’s most recently known as “Dago Joe’s Place.”
As remote as this may be, you'll be safe and secure as we are here on property to assist in any unusual or emergency situation. We have never had such an occurrence. However, we do have clear and efficient plans for any unexpected emergency. We have many motion sensor night lights.
The Loft is nestled in 40ft-75ft pines, the perfect place for a weekend getaway deep in the Kaibab National Forest. Whether you’re looking to beat the heat of The Valley, Havasu, or Vegas, or for a serene trip, a romantic getaway, or an adventure vacation, or even a honeymoon, this is the place. You'll love the "no air conditioning needed" comfort of The Loft. Open, crack or close windows to adjust your room temp.
Free amenities include unlimited wood stove, split firewood & one free 12 pack of split firewood per stay for the fire pit. BBQ tools included. Add'l fire pit firewood at only $6 per 12 add'l pieces. No Wi-Fi because of satellite bandwidth limitations/costs. No cell phone reception because you're too deep in the woods! To use your cell phone, you'll need to drive out to the prairie about 2 miles down the road.
Tarry on out to our pond and enjoy sitting on our glider/bench while the geese and ducks frolic. If you like, bring fresh fruits and veggies to hand feed all the free-grazing birds. Horses love carrots and apples! Take the baby goats for a walk.
Walk freely on our 10 acre property plus its 30 acre add’l fenced forest land or head out on walking/ski trails to Spring Valley Tank where elk, antelope and deer get their water. Or take a hike on Sitgreaves Mtn or Spring Valley Knoll.
BRING YOUR QUADS. Plenty of room to park your quad trailer behind the barn. No charge!

Meteor Crater and Painted Desert about 45 mins E. Out of Africa wildlife park and new, indoor shooting range about 1:15 S. Take a hike or dirt bicycle ride to Shulz Pass and see it's gorgeous high mountain meadows about 1 mile past Spring Valley Tank. Or for near 360 degree views of most of Northern Arizona’s highest peaks plus a glimpse of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, take a 4 mile RT horseback ride due East to Lone Tree Lookout, about 1/2 mile past Spring Valley Knoll. Or take a 4 mile RT on the Spring Valley Trail along the base of Sitgreave’s foothills to the new end of the trail where a Martian type, landscape desolation developed from a massive wildland fire 6-8 years ago. And if you dare and you’re in high altitude climbing condition, try mountain hiking to the peak of Mt. Sitgreaves due West of here. No fire roads. No trails unless you stumble upon an elk trail. We are told that only 5 people per year find the summit and make it to the top. Please advise us if you intend to try it. If you tackle this challenge, please advise us when you depart and when we should expect your return. Please have a cell phone AND GPS emergency locator with you if you try.

Joe and his wife are amazing host. We had horses, goats, chickens, a pond so what more could you ask for. Every morning we enjoyed feed the animals and the property was beautiful. Our place had all the amenities needed and we couldn’t ask for a better time. We will definitely be back in a month or so.

Our stay was amazing! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The property was surrounded by trees and amazing views. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay here. With the Kaibab Forest right there, the remote location, the adventure of heating with a wood stove, and the pines (so many pines!) the Loft was the perfect location for our romantic getaway. No cell phone or internet access was a plus for us. Great place to come "home" to after a day at the Grand Canyon and a dinner trip into Flagstaff.

What a hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the ranch. The hosts Joe and Barbara were so welcoming and always available to answer questions. We enjoyed all of the animals on the property and the beautiful scenery. Can't wait to return.

It was so quiet, no cell signal and no wifi! Our son wasn't very happy about that but he got over it. It was amazing!

The wife and I picked this remote location for a nice long weekend get away. The hosts, Barbara and Joe, were SUPER nice and inviting! Their land is an amazing place to experience some peace and quiet and our dogs loved getting to free roam around the woods and play with their sweet dogs. That was one of the best long weekends vacations we've had in a long time and would 100% recommend. Thanks so much for having us. Kevin and Annie will miss Buddy!

Very comfortable and user friendly! Joe and Barbara go out of their way to ensure the experience, in their wooded retreat, is filled with AZ gracious hospitality!

We loved everything about this place. It was off the beaten path but still conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. There is so much to do around here we didn't spent a whole lot of time at the property other than to sleep but we were pleasantly surprised. It was bigger than we thought it would be, the bed was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. Joe greeted us and made us feel very welcome gave us some great local tips and was just a nice guy. I look forward to visiting again in the future. We haven't had that much fun in a while!

We've stayed on this property twice. The first visit was wonderful. We stayed in the small cabin, with 1 bedroom. On our second trip, we brought our kids and rented 'the loft' We were told "8 people have stayed there just fine. The HUGE sectional couch 'lays down' just make it up" needless to say, both our kids slept horrible. The couch does NOT lay back all the way and our kids were up every hour on the hour having us push the couches and "lock them" back together. There were also 2 media chairs but again, comfortable to sit on, not truly meant for sleeping. There were other things, out of the hosts control, like the weather was insanely hot that week (we opened the windows but, 3 of the 6 had spider nests in them.) We used the fan provided but, the loft is the second floor and just too hot for a single fan. There was a "no burn order" so, sitting outside in the cooler evening air and having a little campfire was also not an option. So, we were very limited on what we could do at the property. Again, these were more things that were truly out of the hosts control. The only disappointment was the fact that we were there less then 15 hours, (booked for 3 nights, 4 days) and when we asked for a refund, the host refused and turned into a CSI agent for why he wasn't refunding any of our stay. A little compassion for the situation goes a long way.

My family of four had such a wonderful time at the Wrigley Ranch loft. We rode horses, enjoyed the solitude, forest, and the night sky. Highly recommend for an adventurous family! We went to Grand Canyon two days, Williams, lava tubes, and Slide Rock. Joe and Barbara were wonderful hosts, my kids enjoyed all the animals and stories! We were sad to leave this majestic place.

We enjoyed our stay at Joe and Barbara’s loft. We were able to relax in their peaceful and quiet place. Joe and Barbara were very accommodating with our needs. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Joe and Barbara for sharing your lovely place with us.

We had a lovely time at the Loft with Joe and his family. They are kind people and hosts. They had their grandkids there, and our kids and theirs had such a wonderful time running around and playing in the dirt and seeing the animals together. The kids loved having a wood fireplace and everything was comfortable. The only thing we would improve is to add more plastic cups and plates so that we weren't so worried about our kids breaking what was there. Otherwise we had a lovely time.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was secluded and had everything we needed. We were not in it much besides sleeping. About an hour twenty to the Grand Canyon visitor center. We had a mishap at check-in where visitors who were supposed to be in the other rental on the property had already settled into ours. Got into the bed, used the towels, etc. There were spare towels and sheets, not a problem. Read the owners instructions very carefully and make sure you are in the correct property. He spells it out well but when you get in at night it is very difficult to discern which property is the correct one. Also watch out for wildlife on the roads!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved being able to be close to Williams, AZ but not in town. Could not have been more happy with our stay.

This was our second stay at the Loft at Wrigley Ranch. Joe & Barbara are wonderful hosts and the quiet & serene setting suited us perfectly. For those who want to get away from it all yet have reasonable access to Williams & Flagstaff, we would recommend it without hesitation.

My wife and I couldn’t have wished for a better destination for our mini weekend break. The loft has everything we wanted and more. Clean and cosy. Comfortable seats and bed. Coffee on the balcony. Views. Peace and quiet.
Our hosts Joe and Barbara were an absolute delight. Very welcoming and attentive, and just genuinely nice people.
Finally, the ranch itself was brilliant, very well maintained by the owners, with horses, goats, chickens, ducks and dogs. All set in amongst the pine trees with Mountain View’s. We really were in a happy place here and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Book it - you will not be disappointed!

Thanks to Joe and Barbara for opening their ranch to us and making it feel like a home away from home. If you want to enjoy the quiet and unplug in a central location this place is perfect. We would stay here again if we go back to the area.

I highly recommend taking the time to spend time at the Loft...it is a welcome retreat of pristine beauty. Joe and Barbara are warm and welcoming. The loft is comfy and homey. Loved lounging by the fire and tucking in at night in the beautiful wood bed. Enjoyed meeting and feeding the goats and horses. Walking the road surrounded by snow covered mountains and making a snowman. It was a beautiful winter wonderland.
I can't wait to come back!!!

Barb and Joe were wonderful Host! We spent the weekend in “The Loft” with our German Shepard and we had the best time playing in the snow and exploring the property. Our first night it snowed 16”! The wood stove was lovely to warm up to after coming in from the cold. The loft felt very spacious, equipped with a full sized kitchen and super comfy sofas that our dog was allowed to go on for all the cuddles! There are big windows all around so you can stare out at all the trees. We will definitely be coming back again!

My husband and I use VRBO often to getaway last minute when we need a break from the valley. This property AND the owners by far exceeded our expectations. I have never stayed at a property with the owners there because we like our privacy but I’m so glad we decided to do it anyway. Joe and Barbara are very down to earth and amazing hosts. We loved every second of it. We rode horses in the snow! Not beat down defeated horses.. these were healthy happy horses. It made the experience that much better. Everything about their place felt like home to us. If you are “thinking” about it and scour through many properties like I do.. I promise, you will not regret this one. This place and the owners are a gem. BOOK IT. If I could buy this property tomorrow I certainly would. It’s away from the city but close enough to drive to what you need. We had nothing else planned but to stay in a quiet place away from the noise and it provided. It exceeded our expectations. Everything was fantastic. I do not leave great reviews unless they deserve it. This place and the owners definitely deserve it. They are like family to us now. We will be back as many times as they will let us :) We miss the dogs, goats and horses already and we just left this morning.

My husband and I booked this property to stay at while we visited the Grand Canyon! There is no internet, but there is a TV. The property owner was so incredibly nice! He made sure we had enough wood to keep the place warm & gave us a ton of recommendations! This property is about and hour away from the Canyon. It is a loft but has a separate door and lock. It was so nice to be tucked away in the woods. I wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend!!

Wrigley Ranch is a beautiful property close to Grand Canyon and Williams. Joe and Barbara are great hosts. Don't expect cell service so be prepared which was fine with us. Can drive about 2 miles for service

If you are looking for a secluded place to call home for a while but close enough to town to get needed items, this is the place. The hosts are extremely hospitable and are on the property to help you with anything you may need but also give you privacy. A rustic loft equipped with a wood burning stove to keep you very warm for those cold days is perfect. But it is also well equipped with all the amenities you will need to make your stay more than enjoyable. We will definitely be booking again. The decor was perfect for relaxation with all the perfect touches throughout to make you comfortable. We highly recommend!

The loft was a unique and special place to stay! A lot of thought was given by the owners to make sure your stay is comfortable, and the furnishings were very complete and homey. The owner stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and even built a fire in the wood stove for us just in case it got chilly. The property it sits on is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Joe and Barbara’s place!

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it! Beautiful location and the cabin is close to several great adventures, such as hiking trails, the Grand Canyon, Williams, Flagstaff and Sedona. The hosts, Joe & Barbara, are awesome and they're right on property if you need anything. One night they invited us into their home, and we watch football. They're super nice people and very helpful/knowledgeable if you have any questions about where to go, or where to eat. It was just an awesome experience!! Thanks again Joe & Barbara.

My husband and I took our 6year old son to Arizona for his Birthday. We stayed at this lovely property. It was a perfect getaway in the countryside. The Loft was comfortable and cozy; exploring the property to see the horses, goats, and birds was very nice. Great host, very responsive and hospitable. We will defiantly be back next time we are in town.
