About this cabin rental
Welcome to The Gateway Cottage! Our beautiful privately owned upscale 1765 sf "cottage" is situated on an acre of cool pines at above 7000' altitude in Northern Arizona, where you can slow down, take in the serenity of the forest and the clean, fresh air while the kids enjoy the swingset. Our home is located just minutes east of Williams, "the Gateway to the Grand Canyon", where you will find plenty of shopping for most anything you need. Bearizona is 15 minutes away, as well as the Grand Canyon Railway. It's an easy 45 minute/60 mile drive to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, and with Flagstaff 25 minutes, Sedona is an hour away, so this is a great central location!! Hunting and fishing, hiking and off road trails are all nearby. Our home has 2 KING bedrooms and 2 full baths, plus a sleeping loft with one QUEEN bed and one TWIN bed. Downstairs living room has a QUEEN sleeper sofa. We do furnish a pack-n-play crib, high chair and booster seat for the tiny guests. We can comfortably accommodate up to 9 adults. We're sorry, as a courtesy to homeowners/guests with allergies, WE DO NOT HOST PETS OR SERVICE/ESA OF ANY KIND. We do welcome adults, children and hunters!
See the stars through the skylights from the new king size bed in the master and the new queen bed in the loft. Both king bedrooms have a tv and dvd player, first floor bedroom has a vcr as well, and an assortment of vhs and dvd movies. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need, bring your groceries and make a simple or gourmet meal. The laundry room includes linens and towels. Outside relaxation on the deck, the rustic fire pit area or the front porch. There is a land line (phone) in house for local calls. We now have super fast STARLINK INTERNET!! Fun activities (winter and summer) are nearby, including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Grand Canyon Railway/Polar Express, Bearizona, the Deer Farm and Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, as well as museums, observatories and outdoor recreation such as fishing, hiking, skiing, sledding and more. This home will not disappoint you! Check in is after 4pm and checkout is before 11:00 am.

This house was perfect for our group of seven to use as home base as we toured Williams and the Grand Canyon.
The home was impeccably clean and seemed larger and nicer in person than it did in the pictures. It was a little ways off the main road but a pretty drive to get there. Aside from the frequent trains passing by, the neighborhood was so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

First and foremost a huge shout out to the neighbor Cindy, We are so grateful and thankful to your neighbor whose kindness, willingness and generosity saved us from the corrupt soldiers of Budget Rental in Flag! Williams is a very short drive, however be aware of the iron horsemen at the end of Sherwood Forest. It can be a long wait at the crossing. In Williams we enjoyed the Aquatic Center (wonderful, helpful employees), Cataract Creeks Gang's Wild West Show nightly at 7p preformed right on the street(rt 66), We went 3 times, loved it!! The extra time the players spend with the crowd afterwards is wonderful, Sultana Bar on 3rd and RT66 is friendly and ask for Elisha. -- 1st Baptist Church on Grant is truly a blessing. Very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated being invited to the fellowship meal after the service. Merrie the house is fabulous, loved the design decor and staircase. My granddaughter loved the loft. Sitting on either porch was very relaxing. Internet and cell was spotty at best or non existent and of course I couldn't get a hold or reach you about our lil dilemma. Cindy knows the story. -- PS the little girl from the church that we watched on and off while we were in Williams and actually she went to Gold Canyon for a couple of days so her mother, grandfather and 3 aunts could spend the final days of her grandmothers life did pass away on June 24 2024. Our cancelled flight from Chi to Cle caused drama for my granddaughter's mother. She wants make up

Cabin in a small, quiet neighborhood off a dirt road in the middle of the national forest, making it a peaceful location. There is a very active train track about 1 mile down the road and some in our group were awoken at night because of it, but most of us slept through it just fine. We used the house as our home base to visit the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Williams, and Sedona so it was a convenient location for all our adventures. The house itself was very clean, and accurately described in the listing. It has everything we needed for cooking and doing a bit of laundry. Check in and check out was very easy and straightforward. Would absolutely stay here again!

This property is in a nicely wooded area. We loved the cabin feel inside. Everything was super clean and we had plenty of room. The location is great too. Easy drives to lots of popular northern Arizona attractions from the Grand Canyon to Sedona to Flagstaff to Montezuma's Castle/Well to Meteor Crater. Would definitely stay here again!

This was an amazing experience. The. Abin feels like home and was perfect for our large family. The neighborhood is amazing as well. Felt quiet and secluded yet a short drive from everything. Loved it all and will definitely book again.

This is a very beautiful property. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with the essential we needed. The beds are very comfortable and all bathroom essential are provided. Even a hairdryer.
Directions are very clear on how to use the TVs and streaming services. It was cold and snowy, so we enjoyed our time indoors working puzzles and watching Christmas movies.
Would love to come back when the weather is nicer to enjoy the playground and take walks around the surrounding areas.
Great property!!

We were looking for a weekend getaway from Vegas and I stumbled upon this house. It is located in the Sherwood estates which is nicely secluded but easy to access. It was about 15 minutes to Bearizona and Williams. The Deer Farm is a must stop. We woke up to the beautiful forest and I sat on the porch every morning. We will definitely be back.

This was a cute little house in a country setting. It was very clean, and the owners were very friendly. It was nice to cook meals in the house as the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house was in a great location because it was in the center of everything. 1 hour to Sedona, 1 hour to the Grand Canyon, 20 minutes to Williams, and about 30 minutes to flagstaff. It was nice to travel to this house after backpacking in the Grand Canyon. It was a quiet neighborhood, relaxing, and very comfortable.

This is a beautiful cabin however it states it’s 3 bedrooms & it’s not. 2 actual private bedrooms with king beds then 1 full/queen bed plus 1 twin in the loft. No dishwasher and the electric stove/oven a challenge if you’re used to gas.
Still a great & beautiful place to stay!

We were up to visit for my graduation from NAU. We knew we wanted to visit Bearizona while we were up there so we wanted to be closer that way. The house exceeded expectations! The house was clean and the carpets seemed to be brand new. Merrie was very attentive and helpful when I had questions. I would recommended this house!

The house is beautiful! For us it was perfectly located between Flagstaff and Williams. We easily visited the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, Sedona, and the Deer Farm while we were there. The owners were very good at communicating and even gave us tips when we ended up in the house during a snow storm! :) We would gladly go back!

We highly recommend staying here. The pictures do not do this home justice. The home is so nice and extremely clean! It is fully stocked with everything you can need for a week long stay with friends and family! We were able to check in a few hours early which was a huge plus for us as we arrived in town earlier then expected. The front and back yard are large for the kids to play and the neighbors were too themselves. We would defiantly stay here again if we were to visit the grand canyon! The small town in Williams was also great and we enjoyed a few things there as well.

It was such a beautiful place. One that my wife and I plan on visit again hopefully. It was perfect for our family of 7. Everyone has a place to sleep comfortably. The snow around the property was so much fun to play in with our kids, and we were close to flagstaff for anything we needed to go and get. It is definitely worth the visit.

We were a group of two grandparents, two parents, and two children, and the space was perfect for us. Everything was comfortable and cozy, and we loved the location close to Williams. Super nice neighbors! There was a foot of snow the morning we left, and a friendly man with a plow offered to do our driveway, and wouldn’t take money. Then my son-in-law’s car wouldn’t start, and the next door neighbors came to the rescue. Just a very friendly vibe in the house and in the neighborhood. Owners were very responsive about questions. Highly recommend!
