About this house rental
This home is in the heart of the town of Middlebury and within walking distance to college, downtown and grocery stores. It is perfect for just two people or a large group or family. Completely remodeled in December 2020, it has an amazing fully equipped commercial kitchen, A/C on all floors, 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a great gathering and living space and great front porch and back deck.
So many amenities are within 20 minutes of our location:
Golf - Ralph Myhre and Neshobe
Hiking - Snake Mountain and Branbury State Park
Water - Lake Dunmore (8 miles away - we also have another property right on this lake)
Skiing - Middlebury Snowbowl
We love to gather and make memories and we have designed this space to be comfortable and inviting.

We had a very comfortable stay here while we enjoyed Middleberry with our teenagers and grandparents. The house was incredibly clean, and the owner very helpful and responsive. There are great hiking trails just at the end of the street that we used to daily. Beautiful. Quick drive to downtown, and also about a 12 minute walk which was enjoyable. Two bikes too.

What a weekend we had in Middlebury! We were able to all stay together in such a warm and spacious house. Everything was easy about our experience - from check in to check out. Honestly, we felt the responsibility of taking care of the property (and owners) as they had taken care of us. Best stocked kitchen than you'll ever find. Thank you!!

Our family stayed at this house for several nights to attend and celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Middlebury. It was the perfect place for this!
Everything looked just like the pictures and this house has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Including a lovely back deck and yard. If we come back to Midd we will stay here!
The owner was very responsive both before booking and during our stay!

This is a beautiful home with every amenity you could desire. The house is clean and stylishly decorated. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-appointed. The family room is comfortable with lots of seating and a great selection of games and books. The bedrooms and baths were clean, spacious, and comfortable. This is a fabulous property in a location that's very convenient to the town of Middlebury and other Vermont attractions.

Great family weekend at this fantastic home close to Middlebury college. Pictures and property descriptions don’t do it justice. Beautiful large kitchen and open main floor plan ideal for family meals and gathering. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice back deck and grill for outdoor enjoyment.

We love staying at this beautiful home. The furnishings and beds are comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms modern and well designed and overall this is a great home for a family looking to be near Middlebury College.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this very comfortable, beautifully decorated home. The beds were terrific, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need, the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and modern, the furnishings and design elements in the house were great and the open flow of the first floor was perfect. They got the details right and made the house attractive and inviting. Ashley is super responsive and got back to us right away. Check in and check out were easy and we had all the info we needed when we needed it. Overall a great stay and we'd highly recommend.

Everything about this house was even better in person than it looked in the photos! We were 7 adults, together for the wedding for daughter/sister/niece. Our family's contribution to the feast was to prep all of the appetizers. Having an incredibly well stocked commericial kitchen was grand!

This was a great house in a great location. Really nice, well stocked kitchen and cozy first floor. It could have been a bit cleaner (hairs in the bathroom, hair balls on the bedside tables etc) but we had a great time!

We had a wonderful weekend in this charming Middlebury home. Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and Middlebury College. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked. Best of all, the beds were incredibly comfortable!

The property was perfect for our needs. I traveled to provide my daughter and her friend from Ukraine a place to stay. The house was an absolute respite for our Ukrainian friend, whose parents at the time remained in Kyiv. The kitchen was very user friendly. Instructions for various features in the house were clear. The living room was a great place to gather and relax. The extra space heaters were welcome. I wished we could have been there in warmer weather, as the deck and yard looked like a great place to gather. One thing to note is that the walls are thin, but this was not a problem for us.

Great for a group!
Homeplate was perfect for our group of friends. The open downstairs space was great for hanging out, and then everyone had decent privacy in their separate rooms upstairs. So close to downtown Middlebury! Clean, easy check-in/check-out, and very communicative host. Would come again!

The owners of this home thought of everything. Open floor plan with recently remodeled kitchen made for a very comfortable stay for our group. We will definitely book this property again.

My family and i stayed for a week. It is beautifully renovated and had just about everything we needed. Its location can't be beat- it's so nice to walk into town or the trails in the nearby Battell woods. We would definitely stay there again!
