The deck and view were great. The beds were comfortable. However, the maintenance of some of the amenities was very poor and lacking in quality control.
4.0 / 5.0
The home was well maintained, clean appliances were in fair repair. Washer and dryer were new, the stove the panel was coming apart so could be an issue but worked, only issues we had were there was no laundry soap in the place that said complementary, Also issue with the ability to get into the dumpster to take out trash which was resolved with a call to Vacasa lack of enough toilet paper

We loved the location being right in town and close to the state park. There were plenty of towels in all the bathrooms, as well as plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, and even laundry pods for the length of our stay. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable.
4.0 / 5.0
We loved the location, layout, and view. We did not love having to provide our own dishwasher soap, laundry soap or cleaning products. They provided us two dishwasher pods which was skimpy for a 4-night stay, in my opinion.

Loved the view even when it was cold and wet. Loved how warm the home got and the lay out with bedrooms downstairs, living upstairs was perfect for us. The beds were very soft and comfortable.

Great place. A bit challenging to deal with any problems as the AI assistant is not very good and it does not appear that there are any local contacts.

We had so much fun here during several summers that we came for Christmas this year. Great time.

We enjoyed are stay very much. Great beach just a block away and ocean view. Evidence ot maintenance as the dishwasher appeared new and deck had been fixed. Don't be fooled that there is a working fireplace. They'll need to fill the propane tank first. Beds were very comfortable and all cooking equipment you'd need. Would stay there again.

Seaoats is a comfortable stay with a view of the ocean from the upper deck and living space.

This house is in a beautiful location, but it has some serious issues.
- One of the eaves appeared to have a good deal of rot on it, and mold was coming into the house as you come up the stairs.
- The dishwasher smelled bad, and appeared to be using the same water repeatedly to wash the dishes.
- The kitchen faucet was falling apart.
- Literally none of the window blinds in the entire house were functional. They were missing the strings to raise or lower them.
Absolutely gorgeous location!

We love this house and try to rent it every summer.

This place gave us pretty much exactly what we wanted. Which was a quiet, cozy little place with a bite of the ocean. One where we could throw some chili in the crock pot and just melt away by the sea. The place was clean and there was everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.
Now. There are a few things of note. The outside decking has recently been replaced and is in excellent condition. On a nicer weather weekend the deck would serve as a great place to hang out, have a beverage and enjoy the amazing view of the ocean.
The fireplace still doesn’t work and the kitchen lighting didn’t work either. There is a light switch that I assumed controlled the kitchen lights but it was loose and didn’t operate anything. The Wi-Fi seemed to work well and didn’t give us any issues. The drain in the shower is very slow and needs unclogged.
But, overall. Great place to stay and great value. I’m not sure you could find a place with this type of ocean view for the price. And the issues seem very minor in comparison. We’ll stay again.

I liked our vacation on the ocean. But the house itself was very "tired". It can be seen that this house used to be good, but now it is neglected, many things need to be repaired or replaced.

My family and I stayed in this house for about two weeks. We really liked the location, we liked that the house is big and tidy. But there are strong minuses that interfered with our rest. First, almost all the windows, as well as the balcony doors, lacked mosquito nets. Coming to the sea, you want to breathe the sea air, but as soon as you leave the windows open, mosquitoes, wasps, bugs immediately fly in ... so it's unpleasant. The second important thing is that there is Internet in the house, but it is terrible, no, it is TERRIBLE, I have been working remotely through my phone for all this days, because the Internet via Wi-Fi is very poor, even small files could not be transferred, each time the download failed due to a connection error. The third important thing is that the balcony is really dangerous, the floor boards rotted and shook, as a result, we only used the balcony a few times despite the excellent view from it. The fourth appliance in the house is also very old and broken: the handle in the microwave oven was broken and we were afraid to break it completely by using, not all switches work, not all blinds work, dvd was broken, washing machine was full of mold ... etc. In general, it would be very good, if the owners carried out an inspection and repair instead of ignoring complaints. As I understood from other comments, some problems have existed for a very long time, but are ignored by the owner.
Bottom line: great location, good layout, poor condition.
We would gladly visit this house again, but only after at least minimal restoration works.

Plenty of room for my wife and I, out two kids and two dogs in this townhouse with an ocean view. The unit was stocked with everything we needed and more including board games, puzzles and an assortment of DVDs for the rainy days. We were very pleased with the ease of reservations, accommodations, and location of the unit.

Great location!
We stayed at Sea Oats for 5 days. The house is in a great location - within walking distance to the beach, and was very clean, and accommodating! Our only complaint was that the internet didn't work, but our account was credited for the inconvenience. Also, the fireplace was not working, and it would have been nice for those rainy days. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

It was quiet. Very clean. A short walk to the beach. And there is a great coffee shop right on the corner. Our family enjoyed it.

Cozy beach retreat
Sea Oats is a cozy, dog friendly bi-level condo one block from the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for guests that like to cook. The bedrooms are on the first level and the open kitchen/living room/half bath is up a flight of stairs. The view from the top story is towards the beach and southwest. There is a large deck too but it was too cold to use during our stay. The place was very clean and well maintained. Although it sleeps up to 5-6 people, I think it would be crowded with that many people and there is only one full bath. With two and a dog it was perfect. We would stay here again.

It needs some repairs. Tlc
The dishwasher didn’t work the gas fireplace didn’t work the fan in the main bathroom doesn’t work and a heater in the first bedroom doesn’t shut off. Dangerous. They place was very clean enjoyed that we will be back. If possible maybe a little tlc on stuff. Thank you

Disappointed!!
Great potential property and location but several items within the home not working (fireplace, internet, dishwasher, bathroom sink) along with broken screen door that wouldn’t stay latched, broken closet door just leaning against the wall. Could have been so much better than it was.

Super place for a fun weekend
Loved this rental - easy, comfortable. But dishwasher and fireplace didn't work 😔. Once those are fixed we would very happily return many times.

Great Getaway Place
The home was clean, comfortable and warm. The beach was easily walkable, the clam digging was easy and there was a great view of the ocean from the upstairs. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again. Wonderful host was available and responsive.

shocking state of disrepair & poor customer service
I'm not sure where to begin. Upon arriving we realised the blinds wouldn't open. Only one would roll up so our view of the ocean was obscured by slats for our entire trip. the local agent said Guest Services would contact us with a refund but I never heard from anyone. the property was dirty. Filthy windows & blinds & doors. Gross furniture with dirt & spots all over. Counters sticky. Only 1 lightbulb worked in the bathroom. the fireplace didn't work. I got no response from the property manager when I advised them of the issues. No outdoor porch light so pitch black when we came home late. Storm doors that don't close all the way. Missing lightbulbs in multiple overhead lights. DVD player didn't work. Deck that is rotting and probably unsafe. As we were trying to get showers before we left this AM there was NO water! None! No warning, no text, just no water. The coffeshop was closed so someone knew the water would be shut off for the day but they neglected to inform their guests. I've stayed in this property many times over the years under different management. It was always in decent shape with things that worked. My husband and I were very disappointed in our stay. It was his 75th birthday & our first travel since Covid. Thanks Vacasa for making it a less than comfortable stay. I've visited PB for close to 20 years but I'll never stay at a Vacasa facility again.

Nice location but needs deep cleaning
This house was in a great location within walking distance to the beach. One thing to take note of is this is not like a regular "airbnb" in that there are no extra blankets and the kitchen has no extras like coffee or anything and hotel style toiletries. We wanted to love this place but without taking too close of a look you can tell this place has not had a deep cleaning in a very long time. Blinds are in serious need of cleaning and fixing. Upstairs half bath is much more pleasant than the downstairs full bath where the shower has chips out of it on the flooring which upon entry makes it feel dirty. I think upgrading to a nice walk in shower with a newer shower head would be pleasing. Oh and the lock box instructions they gave us were wrong. The box is before you go up the stairs but instructions say it is up the stairs which is where an old one is that doesn't work. That was not fun to figure out. The biggest thing though is this could be such an awesome place if it was thoroughly cleaned and maybe replace the nasty stained up living room furniture and pillows with something new along with updating the shower downstairs. For what you pay to stay here you shouldn't be worried to sit on the furniture or take a shower.

Perfect in every way.
Clean as a whistle. Well stocked with all non-food items. Spectacular view. Roomy and airy. Deck was splendid. Access to beach is perfect. We'll be staying at Wild Oats again.

Great House for Us
The perfect size for our family. Nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom sinks were plugged but Vacasa came out and fixed that immediately. We appreciated the "Good Pup" towels for our good pup. There were a couple of appliance problems (the bathroom fan went out the last day, and a bedroom heater switch couldn't be turned off so we turned it off at the breaker) but these were minor things which I assume Vacasa will take care of as well. Pacific Beach was beautiful as always, with barely anyone there and lots of room to roam. We had a wonderful time at this house and we hope to rent it next year!

Comfy and Clean
Had a wonderful stay at this property. The only problem was the lock box directions weren't clear and we had to contact VRBO and they contacted the property manager for me. The lock box directions were incorrect and we had to get the code and find the 2nd lock box located on the side of the building not by the door as stated.

Great location, beautiful view and beach
This home is perfectly situated and a great option for a Pacific Beach getaway. It could benefit from a little more attention to the kitchen, beds and bath but overall it was a good experience for our family of four.
