About this house rental
In the heart of Ogunquit village, east side of Route 1, walk to the famed Ogunquit Beach, shops & restaurants easily & safely on beautiful new side walks. Newly renovated for 2019 with ALL NEW furniture and hotel style linens, new appliances, etc. Be the first to stay and relax in this completely renovated and modernized beautiful home. Large backyard with deck, patio & firepit in a sought after neighborhood. 3 bedrooms each with a king bed, living room with new memory foam queen sofa bed and Loft with queen memory foam sofa bed and twin bed. 2 1/2 newly renovated bathrooms, washer & dryer, beach chairs, beach towels, outside grill & lounge chairs.
1/2 Mile stroll to downtown & beaches (no need to pay $30 for public parking!)
East of Route 1 means no crossing congested streets!
Just north of the center of Ogunquit allows quick access to numerous restaurants in Wells as well (you won’t need to drive thru downtown Ogunquit traffic once you arrive).
Trolley stop 500 feet down the street will take you throughout Ogunquit (seasonal)

All new furniture with hotel linens - we understand what today’s travelers want in a house, so no need to be nervous, all our furniture will be brand new and mattresses encased for allergy-free sleeping! All rugs have been removed and modern floors installed to allow for a clean feel.
Each bedroom has a king bed, great retreat for couples or beds large enough to double up kids. There’s also 2 memory foam queen sofa’s and a nook in the loft with a twin for kids.
All 2 1/2 bathrooms completely updated and renovated for a more modern look.
2 new flat screen TV’s. One 65" in the main living room and a separate 55" one in the upstairs loft with a PS4 so the kids can enjoy their own fun.
Parking for 4 vehicles maximum. Parking on the street is prohibited by the Town of Ogunquit.
Lower rates possible off-season, please inquire at Atlantic Oceanfront Motel, Wells Beach, Maine.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, yet Route 1 was steps away.
We enjoyed the backyard for playing Frisbee and in the evening made smores over the firepit.
Also, the weather was amazing, so we were delighted that there were beach chairs available in the garage.
It was a perfect place to stay for out little vacation!

We stayed early October for 4 nights and absolutely loved this home! It was perfect for our family of 6 and so clean and beautifully updated. It also had everything we could possibly need and so much more. The beach toys, chairs and wagon were a huge plus. Very convenient location to walk to town, the beach and Perkins Cove. Nice, quiet neighborhood too. Deidre was wonderful to deal with and even offered early check in and late check out since it wasn’t being rented before and after. We will most definitely return! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Ogunquit. Three couples had plenty of space in this house located a 1/2 mile easy walk to center of town. Everything was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the Solo Stove fire pit in the backyard with comfy outdoor seating on our last night.

We had a great week at the Grasshopper house! Our family of 5 had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully stocked and beach towels, wagon and toys were a great convenience. The beach was an easy walk and getting into town on foot saved a lot of time in the downtown traffic. Nothing bad to say about this property! Clean, spacious, great location, easy walk to town, shops, beach...great deck and yard with brand new grill. Cozy, huge sectional in living room for tv watching, reading, or playing games. Deidre (manager) was easily accessible with any questions we had and super responsive.
House is an easy drive to York, Kittery (25 min) and Portsmouth (35 min). But no need to drive far, plenty of restaurants, cafes, stores, shopping in Ogunquit! Definitely a 5 star house!

Everything about 35 Grasshopper is perfect! The host is incredibly responsive, professional and communicative. This home is beautifully appointed and pristine. Me and my 5 sisters immediately felt welcomed and at home. Incredibly convenient to Marginal way and the center. We cannot wait to return next year. You will not be disappointed!

This location is just a short walk to town and the beach. Neighborhood is quiet. The house was very clean and we were able to break into 2 private living areas for our 2 families. Deirdre was easy to work with and provided all info we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect house in Ogunquit
We had a great stay. The house was very spacious for our family of 5. My husband's cousin and her 2 kids joined us for 3 nights. There was still enough space for 8 of us. The neighborhood is very quiet. It's a 10 min walk to downtown and 15 min walk to the beach. I loved that there are beach chairs, towels, and a wagon for us to bring to the beach.
Deidre was very responsive and a great host. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay here again the next time we're in Ogunquit.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We had a group of 5 friends for a girls/mom's weekend away--and it was just what we all needed! The house is beautiful, so clean, and perfectly laid out for a family or any large group of friends. The beds were comfortable and has hotel linens. The location is amazing--you can truly walk into downtown Ogunquit area to all the shops/restaurants (was too cool for the beach during our fall trip, but could see the ocean at the end of the street from the house). The owner was so nice and had the perfect amount of communication (not too much, and not too little!). We would love to return to this house again in the future!

Perfect family vacation house
My husband and I brought our four boys here for the week. The house was perfect for us. Everyone loved it and is looking forward to going back next year. The house is very well cared for and was very clean at check in. We were able to walk to the beach every day, with no complaints from our kids about the distance. The backyard was a nice spot to relax in after a long day in the sun.

My family and I recently stayed here for a week and it was absolutely perfect in every way! There was plenty of room for all (10) of us to stay, the backyard is perfect for lawn games, and the location is amazing! We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. A quiet beautiful neighborhood. Close to everything. The house felt like home, but clean like a hotel. They thought of everything, kitchen perfectly stocked, with quality tools, for cooking in. We saw no flaws.

Best VRBO experience
We stayed here on April break, off season. It was one of the cleanest and most updated VRBO’s we have ever stayed at. Kitchen was spotless with everything you could need! The linens in the bedrooms were crisp and clean.
The location was close enough to the center of town, beach, restaurants and marginal way that we basically parked our car and never got in again until we left.
The owner responded to texts within minutes and was awesome to work with.
We have nothing but great things to say about our experience at this house. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Had a wonderful time with our extended family over a long weekend
Nicely setup for a large group, clean and convenient. My family and our extended family enjoyed staying in this house over long weekend first week of October. Weather helped us and we enjoyed Ogunquit village and beaches. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating and helpful for check-in/check-out process, as well as giving recommendations. We definitely recommend staying in this house. The backyard had a nice patio and a fire-pit which came handy for the evenings. Kitchen was fully equipped as well.

Beautiful house, great location
We rented the house for a weekend. Everything was perfect. The house had been redecorated in the last year and it looked great. The location was great, a short walk to restaurants but on a quiet street. The owner Deidre followed up to ensure everything was ok. We definitely would stay there again.

I have been going to Ongunquit for a fall getaway since 2011, and this property is my favorite.
I panicked when I typed the address into google maps because it brought up photos before the renovation. Wow what a reno. It was perfect. I worked great for our needs. It was clean. The area was quite, and shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. This is great for girls weekends or multi generational families. I would definitely stay here again.
