About this apartment rental
We have meticulously cared for this unit to ensure that whoever stays here will be absolutely stunned at how gorgeous the place is, while at the same time extremely comfortable & inviting.
This is an absolutely prime location 2 blocks east of Main Street and 2 blocks west of State Street. The condo is abover the Blue Nile restaurant (and overlooks Aventura) at the corner of Fifth Avenue & Washington Streets.
And since many of you are football fans you will be pleased to know that The Big House is only 1.2 miles away.
This historic building was built by Michael Weinmann and John Gall in 1868 where it served as a meat market with the family residence being above it (where this condo is now). The entire building was remodeled in 2002 and this condo was remodeled again in 2018.
There is parking and elevator access available to guests behind the building. upon request. Please let us know if you will need access to a parking spot or the elevator during your stay.
Guests will have the ability to use a private entrance off of Washington Street (to the left of the entrance to the Blue Nile Restaurant) to enter the building. Both the exterior door and the door to the unit (Suite 202) will be programmed with the last 4 digits of your phone number for ease of use.
Because of how central you will be to all the action a car rental is not really necessary.
We look forward to hosting you and please reach out with any questions for us!
*Please note that there are security cameras in the common areas of the building for the safety & security of our guests, tenants and for the other property owners.

Great loft that is spacious, clean, well appointed and in a great location. Only shortcoming is that there was only one parking space and it was too small for my full size pickup.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in downtown Ann Arbor. The property was very well stocked with necessary supplies and had a fully stocked kitchen ready for use which was appreciated. The decor was welcoming and comfortable for our short stay. We would consider this option again for another trip.
A couple items to note that should be better clarified in the listing:
- The parking is super tight for a large SUV to navigate and street parking is not ideal in Downtown Ann Arbor
- There is no access to the unit or the elevator from the alley/parking area, so all luggage and groceries have to be hauled down the alley and around to the front street access, which is less than convenient.
- The bunkroom is actually accessed from inside the master bedroom. We traveled with 16 & 18 year old teenagers, so privacy was a bit of an issue for our group since they had to walk through the master bedroom for entry/exit.
Overall, this was an enjoyable stay with good communication and directions from the property contact.

The property is stylish and new, and well appointed. Everything worked fine. Two large BRs with queen beds and a bunk bed room. Great location for access to downtown AA and campus, although note that there is some street noise as you would expect, although manageable. Overall a top quality apartment that my family enjoyed staying in. Thanks!

Another great stay. The unit is well appointed, clean, comfortable with good living space for our group of family and a friend. We’ve stayed here before and really enjoy the amenities as well as being walkable to many restaurants. The property manager is responsive, check in easy.
Highly recommend!

We planned a trip to Ann Arbor for our daughter's and son-in-law's graduation. We were looking for a central spot that was convenient to all areas. We booked here.
We were very happy with the location and the place. It was very clean and comfortable. The spot was well equipped with everything you would need for the kitchen, baths, washer/dryer, etc. It was exceptional and we would definitely return!

Location is perfect for anything you want to walk to in Ann Arbor. The large windows give so much light. Management was responsive to a clogged kitchen sink. We prepared Easter dinner with a limited kitchen inventory. Clearly most visitors order out. The room with the triple bunks has no windows and opens to the Master bedroom. Perfect for young children or my college children but not another couple. Would stay there again.

Great location and super nice apartment. Owner was super communicative and helpful throughout the process. Thank you!

Attractive space. two flights of stairs a surprise. TV streaming a bit complicated. Ice machine clogged; could have used more than one blanket on the bed. Clean, well located; owner responsive.

We loved the location.

Love the downtown location, but because of this the area is very active and lively. Great space and easy check in. Communication was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location to explore Ann Arbor. Great apartment with everything you need to make a fantastic stay. We would love to come back.

Very much enjoyed the location of this property. We were in town for a work conference being held at the University of Michigan. The location was in walking distance from our daily classes, which was very helpful. The location itself very clean and well-kept. Communication was excellent with the host they were able to answer questions when we had them. We will definitely be booking this location again next year.

Had a great times with friends in A2. Second year in a row for us!

Such a fun and comfortable home to share for our grad celebration. The space was excellent and location was tremendous. So glad we chose this spot.
My only complaint would be that it could use a little extra cleaning of the cabinets and floorboards.
I really appreciated the great communication from hosts David and Mike! Very helpful and accommodating.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The host was responsive and accommodating. The location was great. We were very happy.

The condo was set up nicely with everything we needed. The location was so convenient within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The owners were so easy to work with and so accommodating. The check in and out process was super easy.

Our favorite place to stay in AA!

The property owner let us stay well past check out which was really great. Overall the place was clean. They definitely need cleaner looking bedding - our primary room comforter had staining all over it. Minus that - I would recommend this vrbo to a family.

Our family enjoyed this condo two blocks off Main. Great owner and property manager.

Great loft in an outstanding downtown Ann Arbor location!

As for the property - ideal location halfway between downtown and campus. We enjoyed Main Street area and campus (tour for prospective student + football game) so that most things are a <=~10min walk- best of both worlds. There are at least 3 great coffee shops w/in a couple blocks. Unit is clean and comfortable.

We checked out early and went to stay at The Graduate. The fridge had not been cleaned, the mattresses and pillows are junk, there were pills on the floor in the master bedroom from a previous guest - no need to keep listing all the things wrong. I would not recommend.

David’s condo is in an amazing location! Very clean, very comfortable, very bright! It really was perfect for our family. Will definitely stay there again!

I’ve stayed at this unit a couple times and it’s always great. Smooth check in and great location. I’ll be back.

Our stay at the condo was fantastic. It’s proximity to Main St., Kerrytown, and campus was perfect. The sunlight made the space super special. The quality of the furniture/fixtures and finishes were better than we hoped for. Will definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Ann Arbor in the future.

The location could not be better. It is a short walk to University of Michigan campus, and an even shorter walk to many of the great Main Street area stores and restaurants. The house was clean and felt very comfortable.
The triple bunk beds are located in a room just off the master bedroom. You have to walk through the master bedroom to get into it. It would be great for a family with young kids.
With the great location comes a good amount of street noise at night and early morning so come prepared with some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
The hosts were very accommodating for us and I would recommend this location for anyone planning to visit Ann Arbor!

We had a wonderful stay at this property, just steps away from a lot of our favorite Ann Arbor restaurants and stores. The living area and bedrooms were really comfortable too.
We had a couple of questions for the property manager, which he answered right away. Great stay!

The property is lovely and the property manager, Mike, is very responsive. We had a few minor issues and Mike resolved them quickly. We would recommend this property!

Perfect for Our U of M Visit
Beautiful condo in downtown Ann Arbor. Close to great restaurants, shopping etc.
David & Michael were very accommodating and reached out prior to our arrival & after we checked out. I accidentally forgot a sweatshirt in the dryer & they contacted me right away to coordinate.
The unit is technically a 2 bedroom with triple bunk beds located within a very large walk-in closet. Perfect for one family or close family friends to share.
Bunk beds would be perfect for kids 10 & younger, as my 13 yr old son was too tall to sleep comfortably.
Definitely would recommend this property & look forward to returning next summer during the art festival. Thank you David & Michael!

The property was clean, spacious, well-decorated, well-stocked with towels, linens, etc. and perfect for our needs. Great location in Ann Arbor atop the Blue Nile restaurant, with many other restaurants and bars close by. Michael, the on-site manager was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great and memorable stay for my daughter's bridesmaids!

Amazing loft
We stayed here two years ago, and it was just as amazing this time around. Dave was very responsive when we had questions, and we loved the accommodations. We definitely felt at home and there were many thoughtful touches throughout. Pictures accurately display the loft unit.

Golf Reunion
Had a wonderful time staying at David’s place. It’s very conveniently located by all of the great downtown attractions. You won’t need your car while you’re here. We walked to Chop House, Bind Pig, Babs, Alley Bar, Killwins and all over campus.
This place was very clean and hospitable. I’ll stay there again next time. David even shipped me some items which I left behind. A+

We felt quite special staying in this beautiful apartment! While it was only the two of us in town for a graduation, there would have been ample space for more! Luxurious furnishings. We were within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, the Univ of Michigan, etc. Loved that the apartment included a history of the building.
