Culebra is known to those who cherish it as "The Spanish Virgin Island". It is a US TERRITORY, a tiny unspoiled treasure of the Caribbean.
The island provides great opportunities for turtle watching, sailing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, flats and off shore fishing, sea kayaking, bird watching, and hiking. You will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Search for FLAMENCO Beach on the web, it's been rated 3rd within the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. ZONI Beach is a 2 mile beach with white sand, season turtle nesting and blue waters. The coral formations around the pristine shoreline and the surrounding Cays make up an underwater forest of uncompromising beauty and adventure.
Culebra also offers smaller off islands that are officially part of Culebra; Culebrita Island and Luis Peña Cay are two undeveloped treasures designated as wildlife reserves.

Very relaxing, quiet and restful. Fun base to explore the island from. Will need a vehicle to get around. Views are fantastic. Given the climate, pack in zippered bags and keep your suitcase closed to prevent unwanted stowaways home. Recommend bringing another hammock if you want 2 hammocks to enjoy the deck from. Unfortunately there are no beach towels, beach chairs, hand towels or wash clothes provided. There is a reverse osmosis system that we greatly appreciated. Keep in mind when you book there is a significant fee per person added to the price of booking beyond 2 people. Again, the view was amazing and as pictured. Only one hammock though.

This is a very cozy property, great location and amazing views-highly recommend. Don’t pay attention to comments about WiFi-it worked great!

My family and I had a terrible experience there was no air in the kitchen, living room, the keys to come in is rusty and the door wouldn’t lock so the door had to be left open and the wind would open it. Super unsafe we had to sleep with the door unlocked. The AC in the rooms you either froze from how cold or you would have a heat stroke no in between. They were animals everywhere. The owner also charges you whatever he wants after you leave the property without permission. Horrible place do not stay here. Waste of money horrible experience

The ocean breeze and views is worth your money
We had a great time here staying for 5 nights. Culebra is magical but it is remote and you can sense that throughout your time on the island. The property is great and has everything you need to have a good time. The constant ocean breeze and views will make up for anything ! Will definitely return

View!
It's a fine apartment with room enough for our family of four (2 adults and two older teens). It could easily have slept another 3 or 4. It's not a luxury condo but a wooden house with open beams and stairway, and a deck where we spent most of our time. It's not slick and sleek and new, but perfectly functional and clean, airy and bright and cool (ac in bedrooms for sleeping). Convenient to everything (especially with a rented golf cart), The kitchen was good enough (though more than one pan for the oven would be useful). Peaceful, relaxing, perfect vacation getaway. Go for a walk after dark one evening--the stars are not to be missed!

Great peaceful views
Great location just far enough from main area to be quiet. Bed was great. Decks have amazing views. Some things it needed: Beach towels, beach chairs, any type of cooler, blender. Those are pretty common
things that really should go with beach /island house….at least everyone we’ve stayed at. Over all great experience. Will be back to Culebra again.

Come here to unplug....
Gorgeous private deck with an entrancing view; the hammocks are lovely! Be forewarned about the terrible Wi-Fi, though, on the few days it was working, it had such low signal it would just disconnect, making remote work nearly impossible and using lots of data. So bring a good book, enjoy grilling and lounging on this breezy balcony!

Fantastic Place on Punta Aloe!
From booking to arrival, Fede made sure everything went well. The views from the deck are absolutely marvelous. Watch the ferries and boats of all kinds come in and out of the Honda. Cooking was easy in the kitchen and you can enjoy the views while cooking!

Great Stay with a Killer View
Our stay here was very nice! My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon. Everything seemed to be functional and clean, we did not use the kitchen too much but there were plenty of glasses, plates, etc. and the pots and pans looked good as well (although we didn't cook while we were here). Had issues with the wifi, but it sounds like these are temporary and Fede was able to help us find an alternate solution. Really, really nice view off the porch, especially for the sunrise.
The only thing I wish is that VRBO had properly marked the address on the map -- for some reason, it showed the property as being a lot closer to town. This place is on Playa Sardinas II, a good hike from town! But it is a really pretty part of the island!! Definitely strongly recommend this property if you are staying on Culebra.

Great views and convenient location
The balcony is the strong point of the property with amazing relaxing views. Two main bedrooms were well appointed. Some things that I would warn people of are listed next but would not prevent me from returning to property. There are no screens on the living room/kitchen/dining areas and no AC in those areas but owner provided fans upon request to help with bugs. Mosquitoes did drive us out of those areas when the winds were still but bug spray and AC in bedrooms helped. Bathrooms did not allow toilet paper to be flushed. Drive way is steep but that is common in area. The laundry mentioned is an offsite business.

Scenic view and comfortable interior
Great house! Huge patio with an amazing view. It has enough chairs and space to have a group of 10 to sit outside on the patio and relax with friends. Don't rent Jeeps when you are on Culebra, there not really enough parking for two Jeeps. Rent golf carts, that's all you need.

Amazing property
Stunning views and very comfortable accommodations. Great air flow through the house so it’s never too hot. Great place for a family or couples traveling together!

Just “Wow!”
Wonderful, PEACEFUL place, with the most amazing view ever. The ocean breeze was heavenly. The master bedroom was fantastic: king bed, cross-breeze, and the chirping of crickets just outside the window. It was almost a “glamping” experience—we felt so close to nature.
Location is perfect. Wonderful restaurants and a nice grocery store just down the hill. Punta Soldado in the other direction, for undisturbed snorkeling.
Fede was Johnny-on-the-spot with any questions or concerns.
I can’t recommend highly enough.

More of a camp than a villa
Location is beautiful. Loved the view on the bay and the constant breeze. Inside is a bit rustic but comfortable. We were cooking for a family of seven and would have loved better pans (as in not old). TV only had very limited channels, no way to get Netflix. It was fine as we spent most of our time outside and playing board games.
My summary is that if you are ok with a camp, it is great. If you like more of a real villa with a washing machine and a smart TV, this is not the place.

Bonita Honda bay
A very relaxing stay in an awesome Villa that has postcard perfect views of Ensenada Honda bay and Caribbean sea. Fede was a terrific, low key host who promptly responds to inquiries as well as going out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Culebra is a great place to get away from tourist and chill. We are looking forward to returning.

2nd stay in 2 years
This was my 2nd visit to Culebra, and the 2nd time I’ve stayed at one of Fede’s properties. I cannot imagine a kinder, more considerate host than Fede and his associates. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this man. His properties are meticulous. Five stars, all the way!

Great view
Fantastic deck with amazing views. House was immaculate and well equipped. Host was helpful and promptly repaired the minor problems we had. Configuration was the two bedrooms with bath upstairs and downstairs had a bedroom with two bunk beds including trundles and a bath so could sleep six. Extra beds in upstairs closet. Unit would be very crowded if all the beds were used.

Stunning Views in Quiet Comfort
Loved our stay at Punta Aloe! The house has a wonderful location overlooking Ensenada (Bay). The property has everything you need, and can easily accommodate a large family of seven or more. The beautiful architecture reminded us of good times in our childhood spent in similarly-constructed wood beach houses. We'll most definitely be coming back and bringing more family with us!
Thanks Fede!

Our Culebra “home”
Our second time at Punta Aloe 20 and it felt like our second home. The view from the deck is awesome, and we ate many of our meals there, watching the sailboats come in and out of Ensenada Honda. The unit gets a great tropical breeze and thanks to all the slatted windows, we never needed A/C. It feels like a well designed treehouse. Federico was a wonderful host, and the unit was clean and in good shape. We hope to be back again.

Great villa overlooking Fulladosa Bay.
Very clean, beautiful location, well furnished, and great a/c's!! Well appointed kitchen.
Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Huge balcony...more like a terrace. The owner was super friendly and gracious. I arrived on my boat with a blown hydraulic line and he personally took me to a shop where they were able to manufacture a new one. Saved my weekend!! I was celebrating my daughter's 15th birthday with 9 of her friends. Imagine what a disappointment it would have been if not for Fede's timely help. I'm not renting anyplace else from now on. Thank you Federico!

Gorgeous welcoming property!
The view from the deck is incredible and the spacious open concept created an inviting place to come home to after a day of exploration. The host Fede was very responsive and thoughtfully stocked necessities such as kitchen and bath basics. We loved the nautical touches and the property truly lived up to the billing of “ocean front villa”

Fabulous View, Comfortable Accomodations, Excellent Location
First of all, the owner, Fede, could not be more welcoming and accommodating. He took the time to meet us at the airport, called the jeep company when they were not at their window, and then caravanned with us to the house to make sure we got there okay. He responds immediately to emails, and has a welcoming, gracious spirit. The upper apartment which we rented is comfortable, well-provisioned, and offers a beautiful view of the bay. We particularly liked eating at the Dinghy Dock which is a four-minute drive. A/C works great in bedrooms. Deck is spectacular. We had a great stay!!!
