Well appointed property with everything you could have wanted. Even better than the photos showed. Very friendly owner and property was very clean. Lots of space for us to come together as a family and also space to be on your own if you wanted.

Good location. Walking distance to town. Nice views from the deck. Bunks only suitable for children or short adults. All other beds very comfy. Kitchen bathroom and laundry well appointed. Steep driveway and stairs to access the property but we all managed. Would recommend

Fabulous stay in Paihia
Fantastic property for a large family or group. Steep driveway and loads of stairs to access which was fine for us but could be limiting for the aged or those with health issues or disabilities.
We had to cancel half of our stay due to a Covid lockdown and received a full refund.
Wendy was amazing to deal with!

Paihia Beach House
Enjoyable stay. Great location: 10 min walk to town centre, ferry's and beach. Good house layout, good deck. Steep access to house and one car spot for a 4wd vehicle. Pricey, however close to town.

A Weeks Stay
Awesome spot with a great view. The check-in could have been a bit better with information with held until the final day, not so good when trying to pass on the info to others to meet us there.

Bush retreat
We had a fantastic time. Everything was very clean and tidy, and what a beautiful spot in the bush with the tuis and the fantails and listening to the Owl at night... had a great time. Thank you very much.

Bach in need of renovation
I would rate this as a typical (big) Kiwi bach but now in need of renovation, with cracked window panes and holes in the wall near the front door etc. Drive is very steep and I did not feel comfortable in taking a rental car up it so parked on the street. Across the road is a college dormatory so loud music and shouting are routine.

The Bay Bach - Paihia
Location and proximity to shops and beach was excellent. House was clean and comfortable. Some work required as some areas felt a bit unstable such as walkway to back deck and stair banister.

Haven close to town
I stayed 6 nights here with my 2 sisters for a getaway. Tucked away in the native bush surrounded by birdsong yet only 5 mins walk to downtown, this setting was like a spa retreat. Tastefully furnished with comfortable seating. Thoroughly recommend.

Great family holiday home
A really nice older house renovated for holiday use. We had a great time and would be happy to return. It looks a little jaded from the outside but Wendy has gone to a lot of trouble to make sure the inside is very clean and beds and bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen are to a high standard of family use,

Short walk to town
Very clean property and very handy to town.
Well equipped kitchen however lacked basics essentials ie salt and pepper, oil etc.
Nicely decorated throughout however could not dine outside as table very unstable and needed repair.
Beds all very comfortable.
Student accomodation across the street very noisy in evening and hard to get young children to sleep.

Cosy property with good views
Nice and quiet property close to Paihia town centre. Wendy is very organised and efficient with checking in and out. One of us left some personal items behind and Wendy was very happy to post this out to us. Would definitely recommend this property for interested travelers!
