Gorgeous historic home updated with every modern convenience. My family met here to celebrate Christmas and it was the perfect place for us. Walking distance to many restaurants, breweries and shops. Short drive to downtown area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed this beautiful old house. It’s very well kept up and close to downtown. I would highly recommend!

This house was definitely a 5*!! This was a girls weekend in Asheville. We toured Biltmore and downtown Asheville. The rest of the time was spent at this wonderful house. We cooked in the chefs kitchen. It has everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds were very comfortable! There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The owner was very easy to get a hold of. We will definitely stay at this property again if we’re in the area.

The house is absolutely stunning, very well prepared to host.

We come to Asheville every year for a mountain biking trip. We’ve been doing the trip for about 10 years. This house is our favorite mainly because of the location. You can walk all of West Asheville and it’s super conveniently located next to two of our favorite breakfast places and a new favorite dinner spot. The house is very unique and I would highly recommend.

Want to feel like you stepped back in time, but stay in an updated and modern home? This is it. We really enjoyed the charm of the Jarrett House - listed on the National Register of Historic Places! Plenty of room to spread out, great kitchen with very modern appliances - all around a great stay!!

The home was beautiful, very clean and in a nice location. But, a few things were inconvenient. The house is not a four bedroom, it has a blowup mattress that can be used on the floor. And the three bedrooms are upstairs which makes it difficult for guests with mobility issues. Also, the one parking place is not very user friendly if you have a large vehicle. But we did have a wonderful visit to Asheville.

Great house, great location. We loved our stay this weekend. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing! Very clean and well appointed. There were some questionable people walking near the property but we had no issues. It’s close to great restaurants and the grocery store. It’s also close to the main attractions.

Mitch’s place was a perfect landing spot for our group of three couples. We really enjoyed learning about the house’s history, and it was clearly restored with care. The house was spotless and well-appointed. The beds were so comfortable and we all enjoyed the communal spaces in the house and the outside patio. It’s walkable to all of west Asheville and just a short drive from downtown or the River Arts District. The only downside was only one stand-up shower out of the three bathrooms, but we made it work. Communication with Mitch was great with tons of good recommendations for our stay.

The house was the perfect place for a family getaway for my grown children and infant grandchildren. The layout was great for the family and the house was very nice and well stocked. The location was convenient to everywhere. We would definitely rent it again.

A girls trip to Asheville.
The house is a beautifully restored Victorian with a good location and extremely clean, but it is on a very noisy, busy street.
It is listed as a 4 bedroom. IT IS NOT. It is a 3 bedroom with an air mattress you can put in the den to make a 4th bedroom. It is specified in the listing, but in the fine print and I missed it. I felt duped. It should be listed as a 3 bedroom because that is what it is.

The home and location are fantastic and the house was well-appointed with starter supplies. The only issue is that the 4th bedroom has a blowup mattress; I wish the listing had clarified that. Beautiful property

We loved our stay at this house! It was the cleanest property we have ever experienced. The updates were very nice. I loved using the claw foot tub upstairs. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need and more! We loved the outdoor seating area. Very close proximity to several places we wanted to go. Walking distance to Ingles and a great pizza place and breakfast place! Would love to stay here again one day.

House was perfect for us 6 adults and 2 couples and 2 singles. Would have
preferred if one of the rooms had an option for two single beds. Or a pullout couch in the small living room would have been perfect for our combination of adults.

Stayed here for UNCA graduation with my family of 6. Amazing outdoor gathering space and plenty of room on the inside as well. Property manager was always prompt in responding to my questions. Super clean, more than enough towels for everyone! ( why is this even an issue at some places???) Very cozy home in a perfect location. Thank you for allowing us to stay and use your space to celebrate our daughter!

We planned this trip with our daughter for her birthday getaway. The house was wonderful as was the location. The host responded to us quickly and efficiently :) when we had questions. His recommendations were on point and we enjoyed many of them. We will plan another trip with our other children and family soon!!

Our family had a lovely time at this property. Walking to restaurants was easy and you are close enough to basically everything else to drive to visit or pick up from. Grocery store is steps away. Recommend the pastries at the OWL bakery about a mile away... easy drive. The house itself was clean and cozy and felt elegant with all the decorative touches. Communication with owner was easy! Thank you so much!

The property is lovely and well cared for by a responsive host. We’ve stayed twice with various friends and all agree that it’s the best option for staying close to everything with the comfort of feeling like you’re home.

This house was in fact meticulously restored. It is beautifully decorated and I can not express how charming the whole house is! I was there with three of my friends and we were in awe throughout the house. Truly enjoyed our stay. The owner was quick to respond. Highly recommend.

We flew our family in from out of town for a long weekend birthday celebration for my wife with our son, daughter, and son-in-law. The house was beautiful and had so much character. It met our needs perfectly and its charm enhanced our experience in Asheville.
Mitch was very easy to work with and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time.
If in Asheville, again, we will definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved this property! It was elegant, but at the same time, sooo comfortable! It had so much personality and charm. We loved its historical features, blissful bathtub options, attractive furnishings, relaxing fireplaces, and its overall ability to inspire coziness and enchantment. It also had a great patio area with string lights for ambiance. We loved the spacious, fenced yard with the option to close the driveway gate to let our dog have a chance to run around. The amazing bath I had by the fireplace will be hard to beat in the future and may call for a return visit. My young boys also loved the property. Their favorites were reading their books in big cozy leather chairs, playing chess and other board games by the fire in the super cozy parlor, playing with snow in the yard, and having their own turns in one of the claw foot tubs. The Vrbo photos do not do the property full justice. It is simply lovely! This property is also very convenient. We were in walking distance of award winning/ top rated restaurants, an Ingles grocery, and more. We were only about 10 minutes from our planned visit to Biltmore. We had such a wonderful time at this property.

Great stay at this property. House was beautiful and it was really neat to stay at a historical property. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Loved the kitchen.

WOW! Beautiful home…we all loved that the house is decorated in the era that it was built. There were accent lights lit in every room when we arrived, it was heartwarming! The entire house was spotless!! All large rooms, the beds were like sleeping on clouds, comfy towels, the kitchen is amazing-lots of space for all of us-5 adults and two toddlers to be in the room at the same time. Since we prepared Thanksgiving dinner at the house, the two ovens were a plus. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with anything you would need-dishes, utensils, paper towels, toilet tissue even Q-tips. Washer and dryer were a plus even has laundry detergent. The porches, patio and huge yard were fun for the kids and spending time outside. The gas grill was perfect for cooking our filets and wings. A 5 minute walk to the supermarket was a bonus.
Can’t say enough good things about our host Mitch; his response was immediate with any questions or needs. Thank you!!!
Love this place, felt like home the minute you walked in the door. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Asheville.

This may be the finest rental property we have been fortunate enough to stay in over the last few years. FULLY equipped and updated kitchen (we both love to cook so we are picky in this area!), comfortable beds and great linens, terrific decks and patio….all in a gem of a fully rehabbed historical home…walking distance to everything in West Asheville. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the difference: plenty of k-cup coffee, the lights on for us when we arrived late in the evening, comfy furniture, wonderful bath products, etc. We are so grateful to have had such a warm experience at this home. In for a local wedding for 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

So much nicer than some featureless modern building.. We joked that it was 7 minutes on Google maps from everywhere. Perfect for our group of 4 adults. Could have handled 2 more easily (but parking >2 cars could be problematic). Owner was great about handling setting up new tv cable supplier over the phone.

We stayed here for almost 6 weeks and had a great stay. The house is well equipped and very comfortable and the big fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. There are plenty walkable restaurants, breweries, a grocery store, etc, and the short drive to downtown Asheville make this a very convenient location. The host, Mitch, is fantastic and communicative and responsive. Definitely recommend this house.

After not being together for 2 plus years our family came to Asheville for a family wedding and decided to stay at a house instead of a hotel. This house is fantastic. Morning coffee outside on the patio, dinner in the dining room. Enough room for everyone to get ready at the same time to go to the wedding! Everyone had a favorite spot to read their books, or just enjoy downtime.
A wonderful time spent in this house.

Great Stay!
This year’s girl’s weekend was Asheville. Many properties to pick from, but this one stood out, and it didn’t disappoint! The house was comfortable, nicely decorated and clean! ( my bed was super comfy). Although not walking distance to downtown, Ubers were plentiful. The host, Mitch, was very helpful and a great communicator, and truly cared about our stay. Would for sure rent this property again.

The home is absolutely gorgeous as well as sparkling clean. Mitch was very easy to communicate with and offered lots of recommendations of places to eat, drink and be merry. We enjoyed the outside sitting area as well.

Perfection
What an incredible property! My husband, infant son and in-laws all stayed here for a family trip and could not have asked for a better experience.
Our check in process was very easy and accommodating to our schedules. The house itself so absolutely stunning, I almost didn’t want to leave for some of our activities.
You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s extremely walkable, the grocery store is next door and any restaurant, bar, shops you’d want to explore are minutes away.
We went to most of the restaurants that our host recommended and they were all top notch.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home in a great location
The house is spotless and very comfortable. I wish the yard was completely fence in at least one area for our dog to run off leash but the yard was large and lovingly maintained. The location is great as you can walk anywhere in west Asheville. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay, Mitch.
