About this cabin rental
The Lodge at Harvest Moon features luxurious spaces for your entire group with five private bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The master suite offers a king bed and a twin, plus a beautiful private en-suite bath. The large soaker tub is a complete escape. Two bedrooms offer a queen and twin in each plus a shared full bath. A large 'hotel suite' style bedroom features two queens, one twin, and a private bath. A fifth private room with a queen bed rounds out the restful possibilities. Each bedroom has an Iphone/Ipad charging station for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided. A large laundry room adds convenience.
Enjoy plenty of gathering space in the cathedral ceilinged living room open to the gourmet kitchen, separate dining room with seating for twelve at the grand table (high chair provided for your smallest guest), family room, gameroom, and private pub. In all, our lodge features three large flat-screen televisions with Direct TV and Blu-Ray players for your entertainment. A smaller TV sits above the 10 foot bar in the pub, so you won't miss a thing while shooting that game of pool. Of course you can watch the game!! Cozy up to the wood burning fireplace in the living room and soapstone stove in the family room. The Pub boasts a pool table, a ten foot bar, a full sized fridge for snacks and beverages, and a gas log fireplace. The attached game room offers ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and double shot basketball game.
Outside, enjoy the sunset view from your front porch overlooking Harvest Moon pond. Take the staircase through the beautifully landscaped hillside garden to one of three docks, and throw in a line. On the back deck you will find a NEW (June 2018) huge JACUZZI hot tub, a weber gas grill, charcoal/wood smoker and comfortable seating for your entire group, because food just tastes better when enjoyed outside.
You will also find a fire ring in the side yard. Just a short jaunt down the drive brings you to a beautiful field kept mowed and ready for your friendly game of kickball, croquet, volleyball, or tag (equipment not provided).
The Lodge is a wonderful place for a large family or group of friends to enjoy time together. There is truly something for everyone. The location is just the icing on the cake, giving you access to all the Hocking Hills area has to offer.
But don't take our word for it.... a recent review says it all: "We so enjoyed our fabulous stay on this picturesque setting. The house itself was amazing....housed 16 of us comfortably. Tons of amenities.....grand "playroom" basement with ping pong, pool, tv's air hockey and basketball games. Lovely family room and open kitchen, huge laundry room with commercial washers and dryers, porches and decks with amazing views. Outdoors the property had lots to explore, a state preserve bordering that we hiked every night....gorgeous caves ( get a permit first from the state) and amazing stocked lake that the kids fished at for hours. Quiet and relaxing. It was way more than we expected or needed....truly a great experience! Close to lots of hiking and exploring."
PLEASE NOTE: We CANNOT accomodate Saturday check-ins OR Check-outs. Seven night rentals must be Friday-Friday OR Sunday-Sunday.
RATES are based on 8 guests... additional guests are $20/guest per night.

The property was amazing and the location was perfect to everything and the host was great. I would recommend that anyone going to hocking hills please view this property

Nice, big house. Accommodated our family nicely. Lots of games and activities. Host was always quick to reply before and during stay. Only issue is the mildew smell throughout the house. The garage/game room is not slanted away from the house so water from the rain gets in and it was muggy outside so there is a mildew smell throughout the house (including the primary bedroom), even with the fan that was in the space. Beds have super thick memory foam and you sink down deep.

My husband and I stayed here with two of our grown children and their families—6 adults and 4 kids in all. The house had plenty of space for gathering everyone together and for hanging out in smaller groups. It was also a good base for exploring Hocking Hills.

Our family gathered at the Harvest Moon Lodge for our annual get together. 11 people ages 14-70 were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities that this house has to offer. While there were a few quirky things that popped up during our stay they were attended to. It was an amazing location. Right in the middle of everything and yet in the middle of nowhere all at the same time. The fishing at the pond was super fun and a table large enough for the whole family to eat and play games were definitely highlights!

Nice house with one complaint. The hot tub was very cloudy and had a greenish tint when we arrived. There were chemicals there to clean it up, but we lost a day of use. There is an awesome trail on the property, but a permit is required. Make sure you apply at least 2 weeks prior for the hocking hills saltpetre trail ( it's free to get a permit). There is campfire wood available for purchase on the property ( a nice touch, although the previous renters had left us enough). Games galore, and a well furnished kitchen.

Had a wonderful time with our whole family, age 4 to adult. The rental was just as pictured and described and even better! The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed. The hot tub and outdoor deck were enjoyed by everyone. Having the yard for the kids to play in as well as all the game tables was perfect for those rainy days. The kids loved fishing in the pond. So much time at Harvest Moon and convenient to hiking. It was just an amazing place and we had a wonderful time all together. Many memories were made. Would absolutely rent again!

This was an amazing place for 5 couples to gather to catch up and reconnect. This is a really large house with plenty of room to spread out. Everything was as described in the listing. The back porch was a great place to hang out and the hot tub was great. We also hung out by the pond on Saturday - so much fun! This was in the listing, but be sure you know that one bathroom is in the master, one bathroom is between the two bedrooms, so it leaves the front bedroom sharing the bathroom with the back bedroom. There is a half bath in the basement for liquid waste only. This is just a really fabulous house and we are already making plans to return. My regret is that I did not spend time in the game room! The weather was way too nice :)

This was a great property with everything you could want to do there. It is huge and there is room for everyone to spread out.
We enjoyed our time and I will look for this place to rent in the future.

We can confidently recommend this place to stay while visiting the Hocking Hills. The owners were very kind to us and we found the home to be everything that was advertised.

The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and plenty of thing to do to keep teens busy. We will definitely return!

Harvest Moon is very clean and well suited for our three generations. Thirteen of us in all. We enjoy the game room and the addition of the shuffleboard table was great as we play all games - Bucks against the Does. My seven Grandkids (ages 15-6) want to return for a fifth year which is the best endorsement. We also enjoy the hiking behind Harvest Moon for quick hikes. Vrbo charged additional $205 with no response yet so the two star for property manager. We always leave the property as clean as when we arrived.

Our group came down from 8 to 5 due to health issues. We felt lost in the house. Everything was great. The location is perfect from seeing the sights of Hocking Hills. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful dinner. I am already trying to figure out how we can plan another trip to your perfect house.

Beautiful area with lots to go. Every age group was entertained. We had a fabulous time. The pond was wonderful for fishing with the toddler. Highly recommend for large groups and busy people. Perfect place to relax too!

Always something to do. House was amazing! Anita was great to work with.

We were able to get most of our busy family together for part of a week which has been hard to do. The property had a few issues but was very accommodating and great fun for the kids, young and old alike.

This was hands down the best vacation we have ever had to Hocking Hills. Every person in the family had a wonderful time. We thought that four families in one house would feel crowded, but there was plenty of room to spread out. The caves nearby were better than the pictures and the fish in the pond kept the kids and the parents busy. We liked it so much that we all immediately agreed to book again for next year.

This house is huge, with so many different gathering spaces. Even with our large group of adults, teens, and kids, it never felt crowded. You will get your steps in just by walking around the house! The property was clean and nicely furnished. The surroundings were beautiful. The location is great, just down the road from Conkle's Hollow. We did see ongoing evidence of mice in the kitchen, so I would suggest securing your food in the fridge or in coolers. (We did not see the actual mice.) Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Staying at The Lodge at Harvest Moon was overall an excellent experience. It was was large house with plenty to do. It is very close to all the attractions and has plenty of room for yard activities. The host Anita was very responsive and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend.

Very good for a large number of people. House well stocked with paper products, hand soap and laundry detergent. Game room was enjoyable with different things to do. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen pots and pans need going through and some need replaced. House also needs a deep cleaning. It was a good choice overall for our needs.

This is our third year at Harvest Moon. Six adults and seven children ages 5-14. Everything is great with the exception of the game room. At night after hiking, we have completion in the game room, bucks against the does. Problem is that the games are in shambles. The ping pong table is broken, the air hockey game only half works and the pop-a-basketball game doesn't keep score. We knew from last year to take our own Jenga and corn hole games and I was disappointed with the condition. of the rest of the games this year. The kids love the house, location to hiking and the game room and the competition which is why they want to keep returning.

My family of 16 people were looking to have a weekend getaway and this place was perfect. So much to do, fantastic property. So beautiful. Will definitely try to make this an annual thing!

The property was so close to the caves that many of us hiked to them 3 times! Excellent location! The space in the cabin/lodge was large enough for us to have room to do things individually or together. The dining room was great for our evening meals. The pond was a favorite, too! Would go back again!!

We had 10 girls at the house for a weekend getaway. We all felt at home and wanted for nothing. It’s really big and there’s so much to do!!! Anita was easy to correspond with and very accommodating! I hope to return next year!!!

The place was great, very clean plenty of necessities, the management was very easy to get a hold of and communicate with.
We will definitely be going back.
We had a great experience

Wow, what an incredible place the lodge was. Perfect for adults and kids. Between the hot tub, the game room in the garage, and the fishing pond there was never ending entertainment for the kids. Less than 15 minute ride to any of the hiking/exploring areas you could want (Old Man's Cave, Rock House, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Horseback Riding, etc.). Make sure to get a permit for the Saltpetre Cave hiking area literally off the back of the property - hiking is by permit only which is free on the state of OH website. Some of the coolest caves we saw and right in the back yard! Kids all caught fish in the pond (bass, bluegill, and catfish), dads enjoyed the bar and pool table downstairs, and the moms enjoyed relaxing in the peace and quiet of nature. Ordered Captain Ron's Pizza the first night after check-in, between the well appointed kitchen and Weber grill out back we cooked and ate in the rest of the time. This wasn't a problem either with THREE refrigerators to keep the food and beer cold. Internet is a little sketchy (i think it's satellite) but who goes to a cabin in the woods to play on their devices! Kids had so much to do on the property iPads weren't necessary, and not constantly checking phones was exactly what the parents wanted. Had a wonderful stay, couldn't have asked for anything more.

The house is much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The game room/pool table/bar/movie area downstairs was so much fun for the group to hangout together as one. The kitchen setup is made for hanging around together while cooking. We really enjoyed the house and will definitely come back!
Thank you!

House layout is ideal for a long weekend with friends. Didn’t get outside much with the cold, rain, and snow - but it’s a sprawling place inside with game room, poker table, and a large kitchen ideal for cooking. Several beds need new mattresses, it that’s really the only downside. Owner was informative and responsive. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!
