Had a good time

The last time we were in Breckenridge was in 2010, where we rode in the mointains. We were able to capture this experience again, and had the perfect accommodation to do so.

We really enjoyed our stay at the round house. It is a unique house in a beautiful neighborhood. The bunk rooms were great for our kids, and the deck was a great place to enjoy coffee. The house could benefit from a thorough cleaning.
4.8
Great location. Quiet neighborhood at approximately 10,000’. Only criticism was that some of the beds were too soft.

Was overall a cute place! We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for what we needed. I wish the house was a little cleaner when we got there. There were cobwebs, sticky countertops, and hair along the baseboards. Other than that it was a great place!!

Comfortable, warm and affordable.

Lots of room, nice hot tub for after skiing.

We highly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for my family and very cozy. My kids loved the bunk beds and staircase. The massage chair was a plus, especially after playing in the snow. The patio was perfect for enjoying a drink and watching our kids play in the snow. We had all the necessities to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend.

Philip and Jody had very good communication. The gardens of wildflowers and other plants were a beautiful oasis, the deck was large and new, and the bathrooms have been updated. We were disappointed that, for the price, it needs quite a bit of updating, but if the bathrooms are any indication of things to come, we would definitely consider returning. Oh and it's so close to Breckenridge but you're still out in the "country". Great location!

The property had a great location and nice amenities, including a big deck for enjoying the outdoors, a nice hot tub and plenty of parking for our guests. The biggest challenge with the property were the sleeping accommodations.
Both children and adults slept on the bunk beds during our stay. These beds were terribly difficult to climb into without injuring yourself. The mattresses were 3-inch foam on top of a box spring. This did not provide adequate padding to prevent a person from feeling the box spring.
The queen-size mattresses also sagged in the middle. One of our guests said he felt like he was rolled up in a taco by morning.
With better sleeping arrangements, this would be a lovely property to visit where you can enjoy the scenery during the days and sleep well at night.

Great time in Breck! The house was situated in a great spot close to town but still felt secluded and was quiet in the evening. The host was very helpful with any questions and quick to respond.

The Round House had everything we needed for a week in Breckenridge in June. The Tesla charger and jacuzzi were a plus. The house is situated in a quiet area next to the forest and offers hiking trails directly from the house. Occasionally we saw moose even coming close to our driveway.

Basic amenities were there. Hot tub was wonderful. We liked that it was a bit away from the downtown area. Beds were not comfortable, 1 main bed had a broken frame. House is a bit outdated in its decor but served us just fine.

Great place to stay for skiing! Hot tub was wonderful, beds were comfortable, and the place was spacious.

We has a great time! The house was perfect for 6 adults to all get our own bed. The hot tub was a great time for the evening while the porch was amazing for coffee and breakfast.

Nice deck, hot tub and bathrooms. A bit expensive.

We had an amazing weekend here! Close to town if you need anything but feels like a world away. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was fantastic, and the best part of it all was the deck. Plenty of space for humans + dogs alike. We had a blast and would return in an instant.

Our family of five plus our dog enjoyed this property. It has a wonderful and spacious brand new deck, which overlooks the forest which comes right to the rear of the house--including some great hiking trails literally right out the back door.
It's not a brand new house, and the owners are clearly upgrading it as they go, so don't expect perfection in every surface or room. That said, all of the appliances worked fine.
Three issues we would have liked to see improved:
- There are no screens on any of the windows, and there's no air conditioning, so on hot days you really want to open the windows, but then the bugs come streaming in--especially at night.
- We did find some items of clothing left under one of the bunk beds, presumably from a previous guest, so maybe cleaning could be upgraded.
- As with many of the rentals we've stayed in, the kitchen utensils and pans could use some attention. There's only one metal sheet pan for the oven, and it literally looks like it's been through a war, then a car crash, then an elephant stampede. We couldn't find a single whisk anywhere, and some of the pans have peeling non-stick coating remnants that make them dangerous to use.
But as I said, these are pretty typical of most rental properties (sadly). Ultimately, the location is wonderful, and that deck is pretty hard to leave.

My experience renting was smooth, and the cabin was perfect for our group! There are a few things that are not in great condition, like the massage chair which only partially works, and some areas of flooring and decking are in need of repair. But they did not really detract from our enjoyment for the weekend we stayed there. We enjoyed the hot tub in the surrounding Aspen grove and the grounds that were covered in wildflowers and giant wild mushrooms! The hosts were pleasant and quick to respond to questions. I would go back again!

House layout was vey unique and made great use of space. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day of skiing. Ski drop off area is just 7 mins away. Only negative- house needs some updating; but it was a good value for price.

Stayed at this property while my friends and I were visiting breck for a ski trip. The listing was great and had some sweet amenities. The house is a bit farther from Breck than we expected but the listing fit us all and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it to others!
