About this villa rental

Beautiful 3 bedroom villa on a small residence of 7 properties with direct access to the pool and broadband internet access included. Surrounded by vineyards and mountains with views of the sea, the property is in a peaceful location, only a 10-15 min walk from the gentle bustle of the town's restaurants, cafes, galleries, boutiques and beaches. Large garden terrace enjoys sun from dawn until dusk perfect for dining al fresco, with the first floor balcony terrace ideal for morning coffee! The villa is tastefully furnished and air-conditioned throughout. The lounge-diner has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, 4-ring hob, microwave, etc. In addition to free broadband Internet, the lounge has satellite television, DVD player, iPod/phone dock, CD player and radio with games and DVDs. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with balcony, twin bedroom and brand new bathroom with shower. Bedroom 3 downstairs, may be used as a second lounge as it has a double sofa bed.

Nice villa , lovely town

Nice villa , lovely town

We found the villa to be very clean , well equipped and comfortable for our party of four adults. Enjoyed the lovely views of Collioure and the sea from the balcony. The pretty town centre and the sea front was an easy 15-20 min walk . Liked the close proximity to the pool ,which we often had to ourselves . I would highly recommend Villa 4.

A fabulous week in a great location. Our accommodation provided extensively for our needs. Approximately 10-15mins walk from the town centre/beaches. We visited for the festival of St Vincent which was such a treat. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We had the most marvellous week at the property. Dee could not have been more helpful in her communications with us, the house was roomy and well equipped, we really loved the unspoilt natural environment, with lovely walks up the mountain or round the beaches. Perfectly relaxing. Collioure is a delightful place, full of artistic and cultural interest as well as fun beach activities. Highly recommended

Overall a lovely villa, we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks stay. The villa is in an exceptional location with a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk into Collioure. Parking for one car is immediately outside of the front door, with the pool easily accessible. Villa 4 has the best plot of all seven villas for overall sunshine, however this does lend itself to a lack of shady spots during the hotter parts of the day, plus with the pool immediately adjacent to the terrace it provides little to no privacy from the pool into the villas terraced area. Equally the pool is exposed throughout to the sun and offers no shade. Perhaps some fixed parasols might be a solution should the winds allow? We were fortunate that not all the other villas were occupied during our time with only three other villas showing signs of activity, meaning we had pretty much exclusive use of the pool. Inside of the villa it was on the whole relatively clean and very tidy (my wife is a clean freak) and served our every need. The bedrooms upstairs are lovely and comfortable, with lots of storage space. The downstairs bedroom is effectively a storage room and whilst it has a sofa bed, we found the pull out bed in the living room more accommodating and comfortable. We had a small hiccup with our understanding of the air conditioning units, however the host was amazing in her quick and clear instructions to overcome what appeared to be technophobia on our part. I would recommend anyone to stay at Villa 4. My wife and I are in agreement that this has the been the best holiday we have had in years. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and stay again.

We had a great time in Collioure. Lots to do in the area particularly if you’re prepared to drive further afield. White water rafting and snorkelling at an underwater nature reserve being a couple of the highlights. Lots of nice restaurants in Collioure catering to a range of budgets but the cheaper ones were still very good. The town is about 15 mins walk from the property. We were there during the festival of St Vincent, a four day celebration. The town gets even busier during this time but it’s great fun with bands, dancing and the best firework display I’ve ever seen! The property itself was great. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet - it’s good to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town... We slept like babes after our busy days and nights! The time we spent at the house was mostly in and around the pool which was nearly always quiet despite it being shared by a few properties. We had a great holiday in the Collioure area which was enhanced by a great house, we would thoroughly recommend both.

Excellent villa in great location

The villa was perfect for our needs and having the large terrace beside the pool was a bonus. The reserved parking spot is no small thing in Collioure. There is a very pleasant walk into Collioure and ready access to the highway makes it a great base to travel inland or along the coast. Collioure offers a wide range restaurants and walking opportunities( the walk up to the hilltop fort is a joy). It was a pleasure to deal with the owners and I would certainly recommend a stay in the villa.

Perfectly positioned to explore the amazing Cote Vermeille the villa has everything you need and is within a short walk to Collioure itself. Perfect aspect to enjoy the sun in the morning with breakfast on the balcony and then later on with apero on the terrace. Collioure itself is stunning but there are also many surrounding spots to discover - the quiet bays of Paulilles and lunch at the impressive fish market at Port Vendres will live long in the memory. We will definitely be returning - one week is not enough!

We had an outstanding vacation in this peaceful, clean villa close to town. Pool was delightful. It was nice and helpful to be able to walk into town on busy market days. Owner very responsive in communications. Her briefing book in the villa was amazingly helpful. We would like to go back and recommend it highly!

Une belle villa située au calme à 10 min à pied du centre de Collioure. Le système de boite à clés permet de ne pas se tracasser de l'heure d'arrivée. Le parking est facile. En hivers, il y a peu de soleil sur les terrasses, c'est dommage. Je recommande cette location surtout hors de la saison touristique, elle est idéalement située pour découvrir la région tout en profitant de ce magnifique endroit. En été par contre, la circulation doit être très difficile.

We spend one week in a beautiful apartment situated close to the center of Collioure. It was a short walk into the center of the town and Collioure was just an amacing place! We were two adults and two children (7-10 years) and we enjoyed for a hole week. The town was lovely with many good restaurants and the beach was nice to spend some hours bathing and enjoying the sun. We will for sure go back to Collioure and the apartment was fully equipped with all you can think of. Thanks for a beautiful stay in a lovely apartment and memorable town!!!

We had a wonderful holiday in Collioure. The villa is lovely - very clean, spacious and in a great, peaceful location. It is equipped with everything you need and more. The villa is a short and very pleasant walk away from the town, which is very pretty. Excellent communication with the owner, who responds immediately to any questions. She has also provided lots of local information about places to visit and to eat, which is extremely helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Villa was well equipped and very clean. Everything we needed was supplied. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into it. Suggestions of good restaurants and places to visit were useful. Pool was lovely with great sunbeds. Short walk into town. Collioure itself is a great place to visit. Owners responded in a friendly and efficient manner to all emails. Really appreciated directions from airport and back again. Hope to return.

Well-equipped and very clean, well-maintained little villa in a stunning location. Collioure is a warm and friendly place with quite a lot happening-free concerts in the Chateau etc The Villa provided English TV for my sons'addiction to sport and Wi-fi.And air-con. was essential Our favourite place to eat was the Creperie Bretonne Annaick with its delicious savoury galettes. The owner was very helpful with advice and support with any little issues. Try the drive to Ceret for its Modern Art Museum but worth it for the scenery.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Collioure in your well equipped, modern villa. Having the pool just outside our garden was great, and although the pool was shared, it was never busy. The location was pleasantly quiet but not too far from the lively centre of town. We found the info about Collioure in the villa very helpful and used it to find some wonderful restaurants. Many thanks for a wonderful week.

Villa Four is a superbly situated villa, set out of town away from the hustle and bustle of village life, the villa provided great views with the convenience of a short walk into town. Villa four is a well kept and maintained dwelling and highly furnished, making our stay very pleasurable and convenient. It was pleasant to have the 'home away from home' feeling on our weeks holiday with the added bonus of hot weather, air con, terrace and a pool. D, the villa owner has put together a very well thought out information pack with personal restaurant reviews and leaflets for local attractions. An enjoyable stay!!

Our stay in Villa Four was perfect. The villa is in immaculate condition, air con, wireless, bright, spacious, tidy and very peaceful surroundings. Dee left a tot seat and travel cot for our 1 yr old which was great. Everything in the villa looks new and shiny and we had everything we needed for dining in or out on the terrace. The pool was very quiet during the day - great for us ! It's a short stroll to centre of town to pick up fresh bread very morning. The information pack left out for us was great and the neighbours were very friendly and full of excellent recommendations for local restaurants... lots to choose from. Dee gave us a contact for a local babysitter which worked out great so we even got out for several delicious meals at night time. Dee responded to all my queries within hours of emailing them to her and was very effiicent in relation to contracts, key pick up, deposit returns etc. I would highly recommend Villa 4 to my friends and family. Thank you.
