About this apartment rental
Holidays in the monument combines heritage preservation and tourism. Historically valuable construction tools are taken over, gently renovated and rented as holiday apartments. The model makes a double profit: the monuments get a new future and the holidaymakers experience a stay in an extraordinary building. The idea is realized by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Parking: The parking lot is located directly at the house and is not covered. The access to the house is guaranteed.
Public transport: La Chaux-de-Fonds is well served by public transport. From the train station take the bus 310 in the direction of Sombaille until the Signal stop. This is 200 meters from Domaine des Tourelles.
Number of persons 6: The apartment is located on the 2nd Floor. The house sleeps six guests (plus baby). There are three double rooms available. The kitchen with its beautiful stained glass windows offers modern comfort. In the adjoining living room you have a beautiful view over La Chaux-de-Fonds, as the Domaine des Tourrelles is a bit raised. The bathroom is equipped with bathtub and toilet. The floors are made of wood and stone which is why we recommend good slippers.
Garden: There is a terrace and a patio.
WLAN: There is also a TV.
Open: The house can be rented all year round and for short breaks (at least 3 nights).
Pets: Pets are allowed.
Height: 1000 meters above sea level.
Domaine les Tourelles - Industrial villa in the style of historicism
The villa was built around 1897 and is still in an almost unchanged state. The villa has four apartments, one of which can be rented through the Foundation Holidays in the monument.
The apartment "Trompe l'oeil" has three bedrooms (each with double bed), a contemporary kitchen, a dining room, a spacious living room and two bathrooms (1 x with bath and 1 x with shower).

The "Domaine des Tourelles" was restored in 2016 by the owners gently and with great attention to detail. A stylish equipment completes the premises. With the leases this certificate of 1897 can be obtained in the long term.
IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENT
The "Domaine des Tourelles" is a monument that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenant is aware of this and meets the object with care. Although technically state-of-the-art, certain functional details do not correspond to common standards today and harbor a potential source of danger. These circumstances are known to the tenant. The owner, e-domizil and the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal disclaim all liability.
